Experimental Study on Geometry Characteristics of Turbulent Premixed Flames for Natural Gas/Air Mixtures

In this study,focusing on the geometry characteristics of spherical expanding flame,the turbulent premixed flames of natural gas/air mixtures were investigated in a fan-stirred turbulent *** effects of initial temperature（T=300-400 K）,initial pressure（P=0.1-0.3 MPa）,turbulence intensity（u'=1.0-2.7 m/s）,oxygen volumetric percentage(φ（O2）=15%-21%) and carbon dioxide volumetric percentage(φ（CO2）=0-20%)were delved *** flame profile under the Cartesian coordinate system was derived from the schlieren images taken by the high-speed ***,from both macroscopic and microscopic perspectives,the influence of experimental conditions on the flame geometry characteristics was explored through flame front extraction,wavelet decomposition and network *** results demonstrate that for significant flame wrinkling,changes in species concentrations and turbulence intensity have more pronounced effects on the flame wrinkling *** wrinkling of the flame front maintains a certain degree of similarity,as evidenced by the locally concentrated distribution of the angles of the maximum fluctuation *** disturbance energy under large-scale（D6-D8） disturbances exhibits relatively high values with a similar trend,exerting a significant impact on the geometry characteristics of the flame *** peaks of correlation degree are scattered either with the decomposition scale or the development of flame radius,indicating no linear correlation between different detail ***,the probability distribution of node degrees in key wrinkled regions exhibits different trends with that of large-scale wrinkling and disturbance energy,especially with changes in initial *** occurs because the number of key wrinkles varies based on the perturbation's strength or the region's ***,an increase in the fluctuation frequency of the flame's local radius may not necessarily lead to an increase in the number of key folded regions.

社会临场感(Social Presence,SP)又称社会存在,是一种与他人在一起的共在感。社会临场感作为面向新型人机关系态度形成机制的经典与主流中介变量,亟待对多学科相关文献进行系统性梳理与理论体系的整体性构建。本文以人机关系演进为背景,从人与计算机交互(Human-Computer Interaction,HCI)和人与机器人交互(Human-Robot Interaction,HRI)的历史视角对社会临场的概念内涵与适用边界进行界定。再以拟人化为前置变量,个体因素为调节变量,认知、情感、行为的态度为结果变量,构建了以社会临场感为中介变量的整合性理论框架,解构面向新型人机关系的心理机制。最后,对人机关系调整与机器社会心理、社会临场感的概念内涵外延的扩展、拟人化与社会临场感三方面进行了展望。

Homoharringtonine is a safe and effective substitute for anthracyclines in children younger than 2 years old with acute myeloid leukemia

Homoharringtonine (HHT),a plant alkaloid from Cephalotaxus harringtonia,exhibits a unique anticancer mechanism and has been widely used in China to treat patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) since the *** SCMC-AML-2009 presented herein was a randomized clinical study designed based on our previous findings that pediatric AML patients younger than two years old may benefit from HHT-containing chemotherapy *** randomized to arm A were treated with a standard chemotherapy regimen comprising mainly of anthracyclines and cytarabine (Ara-C),whereas patients in arm B were treated with HHTcontaining regimens in which anthracyclines in all but the initial induction therapy were replaced by *** February 2009 to November 2015,59 patients less than 2 years old with de novo AML (other than acute promyelocytic leukemia) were recruited.A total of 42 patients achieved a morphologic complete remission (CR) after the first course,with similar rates in both arms (70.6% vs.72.0%).At the end of the follow-up period,40 patients remained in CR and 5 patients underwent hematopoietic stem cell transplantation in CR,which could not be considered as events but *** 5-year event-free survival (EFS) was 60.2%± 9.6% for arm A and 88.0%± 6.5% for arm B (P=0.024).Patients in arm B experienced shorter durations of leukopenia,neutropenia,and thrombocytopenia and had a lower risk of infection during consolidation chemotherapy with high-dosage ***,the homoharringtonine-based regimen achieved excellent EFS and alleviated hematologic toxicity for children aged younger than 2 years with de novo AML compared with the anthracycline-based regimen.

With the advent of the big data era, personalized self-adaptive learning is implemented for college students, which promotes the balanced development of all aspects of their abilities and leads to changes in their learning styles. Quality assurance and personalized education of online education have become an important direction for the further development of distance education. At present, in the online education platform, learners' participation in learning activities is not high, and educational managers and teachers do not have in-depth understanding of learners' learning status. Based on this, the article explores the connotation and components of online learning based on the background of big data, and studies the online learning process control of college students from the aspects of information retrieval power, network self-control and practice transformation. The purpose is to explore the application of big data in learning process control, establish a learning process control strategy model based on big data, and verify the effectiveness of the strategy model and control strategy by designing a variety of different control experiments to provide ideas for controlling experiments.

The development of novel theranostic agents with outstanding diagnostic and therapeutic performances is still strongly desired in the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).Here,a fucoidan-modified mesoporous polydopamine nanoparticle dual-loaded with gadolinium iron and doxorubicin(FMPDA/Gd^(3+)/DOX)was prepared as an effective theranostic agent for magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)-guided chemo-photothermal therapy of *** was found that FMPDA/Gd^(3+)/DOX had a high photothermal conversion efficiency of 33.4%and excellent T1-MRI performance with a longitudinal relaxivity(r1)value of 14.966 m M^(-1)·s^(-1).Moreover,the results suggested that FMPDA/Gd^(3+)/DOX could effectively accumulate into the tumor foci by dual-targeting the tumor-infiltrated platelets and HCC cells,which resulted from the specific interaction between fucoidan and overexpressed p-selectin *** excellent tumor-homing ability and MRI-guided chemo-photothermal therapy therefore endowed FMPDA/Gd^(3+)/DOX with a strongest ability to inhibit tumor growth than the respective single treatment ***,our study demonstrated that FMPDA/Gd^(3+)/DOX could be applied as a potential nanoplatform for safe and effective cancer theranostics.

Exogenous Hematin Alleviates Mercury-induced Oxidative Damage in the Roots of Medicago sativa

In the present study, we evaluated the protective effect of exogenous heme oxygenase-1 （HO-1 EC 1.***.99.3） inducer hematin against mercury-induced oxidative damage in the roots of Alfalfa （Medicago sativa L.）. Plants exposed to mercury （HgCl2） exhibited a significant increase of lipid peroxidation, as well as inhibition of root elongation. However, hematin （50 μM） supplementation to HgCl2 （100 μmol/L） treated plants effectively reduced the lipid peroxidation and partially increased the root elongation. These responses were mimicked by the application of aqueous solution of carbon monoxide （CO） with 50% saturation. Also, treatment with hematin could result in the potent induction of HO-1 transcript in the root tissues, as detected 12h following treatment. Moreover, the activation of anti-oxidant enzyme, including glutathione reductase, monodehydroascorbate reductase and superoxide dismutase activities, and the decrease of lipoxygenase activity, were induced by hematin at 12h or 24h, which was further confirmed by histochemical staining for the detection of lipid peroxidation and loss of membrane integrity. Whereas, ascorbate peroxidase and guaiacol peroxidase isozyme activities or their transcripts were reduced, respectively, indicating that hydrogen peroxide might act as a signal to mediate Hg- tolerance at the beginning of treatment. The ameliorating effects of hematin were specific, since the CO scavenger hemoglobin differentially reversed the above actions. Taken together, our results suggested that hematin exhibits a vital role in protecting the plant against Hg-induced oxidative damage.

Chemotherapy plays a crucial role in triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) treatment as it not only directly kills cancer cells but also induces immunogenic cell death. However, the chemotherapeutic efficacy was strongly restricted by the acidic and hypoxic tumor environment. Herein, we have successfully formulated PLGA-based nanoparticles concurrently loaded with doxorubicin (DOX), hemoglobin (Hb) and CaCO3 by a CaCO3-assisted emulsion method, aiming at the effective treatment of TNBC. We found that the obtained nanomedicine (DHCaNPs) exhibited effective drug encapsulation and pH-responsive drug release behavior. Moreover, DHCaNPs demonstrated robust capabilities in neutralizing protons and oxygen transport. Consequently, DHCaNPs could not only serve as oxygen nanoshuttles to attenuate tumor hypoxia but also neutralize the acidic tumor microenvironment (TME) by depleting lactic acid, thereby effectively overcoming the resistance to chemotherapy. Furthermore, DHCaNPs demonstrated a notable ability to enhance antitumor immune responses by increasing the frequency of tumor-infiltrating effector lymphocytes and reducing the frequency of various immune-suppressive cells, therefore exhibiting a superior efficacy in suppressing tumor growth and metastasis when combined with anti-PD-L1 (αPD-L1) immunotherapy. In summary, this study highlights that DHCaNPs could effectively attenuate the acidic and hypoxic TME, offering a promising strategy to figure out an enhanced chemo-immunotherapy to benefit TNBC patients.

Cell polarization in ischemic stroke: molecular mechanisms and advances

Ischemic stroke is a cerebrovascular disease associated with high mortality and disability rates. Since the inflammation and immune response play a central role in driving ischemic damage, it becomes essential to modulate excessive inflammatory reactions to promote cell survival and facilitate tissue repair around the injury site. Various cell types are involved in the inflammatory response, including microglia, astrocytes, and neutrophils, each exhibiting distinct phenotypic profiles upon stimulation. They display either proinflammatory or anti-inflammatory states, a phenomenon known as ‘cell polarization.’ There are two cell polarization therapy strategies. The first involves inducing cells into a neuroprotective phenotype in vitro, then reintroducing them autologously. The second approach utilizes small molecular substances to directly affect cells in vivo. In this review, we elucidate the polarization dynamics of the three reactive cell populations(microglia, astrocytes, and neutrophils) in the context of ischemic stroke, and provide a comprehensive summary of the molecular mechanisms involved in their phenotypic switching. By unraveling the complexity of cell polarization, we hope to offer insights for future research on neuroinflammation and novel therapeutic strategies for ischemic stroke.
