The effects of temperature and strain rate on the flow stress behavior of twin-roll cast, rolled and heat-treated AZ31 magnesium alloys were investigated under uniaxial tension. At high temperatures, dynamic recovery, continuous dynamic recrystallization, grain boundary sliding and the activation of additional slip systems lead to an improvement of the ductility of the alloys. The elongation to failure is nearly independent of the strain rate between 473 and 523 K at 10-2 s-1 and 10-1 s-1, which is related to the strain rate dependence of the critical resolved shear stress（cRSS） for nonbasal slip. Despite the high temperature, twins are even observed at 573 K and 10-3 s-1 because they have a low cRSS.

As environmental concerns from fossil fuel consumption intensify, large-scale energy storage becomes imperative for the integration of renewable sources like wind, hydro, and solar with the electrical *** flow batteries, particularly those employing organic molecules, are positioned as a key technology for this purpose. This review explores the growing field of symmetric organic redox flow batteries(ORFBs) within this context. Unlike traditional asymmetric designs based on unique active materials for each electrode, symmetric ORFBs involve a single bipolar species for both electrodes. This review highlights the benefits of a symmetric design, and categorizes five distinct classes of organic bipolar molecules used in both aqueous and non-aqueous solvents. By providing a comprehensive overview of their cell cycling and performance characteristics, the strengths and weaknesses of the diverse categories of bipolar molecules are highlighted for both solvent systems, as are opportunities for future development. This should guide new research directions and advance the development of practical symmetric ORFBs.

Multifunctional iodoaryl monomers were used for the catalyst- and solvent-free generation of microporous polymer networks of high surface areas up to 732mEg-1. The thermal conversion of the monomers relies on the homolytic cleavage of weak iodine-carbon bonds followed by a c-c coupling of the radicalic intermediates. By using tri- or tetrafunctional monomers and by tuning reaction temperature and time, the optimum reaction conditions allow the formation of the corresponding microporous networks in good yields of 71%-86%. The resulting networks exhibit notable high cO2 and H2 adsorption capacities of up to 8.89 wt% （273K, 1 bar） and up to 1.31 wt% （77K, 1 bar）, respectively.

The aggregation-induced emission(AIE) phenomenon provides a new direction for the development of organic light-emitting devices. Here, we present a new class of emitters based on 4,4-difluoro-4-bora-3 a,4 a-diaza-s-indacene(BODIPY), functionalized at different positions with tetraphenylethylene(TPE), which is one of the most famous AIE luminogens. Thanks to this modification, we were able to tune the photoluminescence of the BODIPY moiety from the green to the near-infrared(NIR)spectral range and achieve PL efficiencies of ~50% in the solid state. Remarkably, we observed an enhancement of the AIE and up to ~100% photoluminescence efficiencies by blending the TPE-substituted BODIPY fluorophores with a poly[(9,9-di-noctylfluorene-2,7-diyl)-alt-(benzo[2,1,3]thiadiazol-4,7-diyl)](F8 BT) matrix. By incorporating these blends in organic lightemitting diodes(OLEDs), we obtained electroluminescence peaked in the range 650–700 nm with up to 1.8% external quantum efficiency and ~2 m W/cm2 radiance, a remarkable result for red/NIR emitting and solution-processed OLEDs.

In this article,we explored the role of adipose tissue,especially mesenteric adipose tissue and creeping fat,and its association with the gut microbiota in the pathophysiology and progression of crohn’s disease(cD).cD is a form of inflammatory bowel disease characterized by chronic inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract,influenced by genetic predisposition,gut microbiota dysbiosis,and environmental *** microbiota plays a crucial role in modulating immune response and intestinal inflammation and is associated with the onset and progression of ***,visceral adipose tissue,particularly creeping fat,a mesenteric adipose tissue characterized by hypertrophy and fibrosis,has been implicated in cD pathogenesis,inflammation,and *** bacteria from the gut microbiota may translocate into mesenteric adipose tissue,contributing to the formation of creeping fat and influencing cD *** creeping fat may be a protective barrier against bacterial invasion,its expansion can damage adjacent tissues,leading to *** gut microbiota through interventions such as fecal microbiota transplantation,probiotics,and prebiotics has shown potential in managing ***,more research is needed to clarify the mechanisms linking gut dysbiosis,creeping fat,and cD progression and develop targeted therapies for microbiota modulation and fat-related complications in patients with cD.
