In this study,2~5 （five factors at two-level factorial design） design of experiment was applied to investigate a set of optimal machining parameters to achieve a minimum surface roughness value for Abies *** specimens were prepared using different values of spindle speed,feed rate,depth of cut,tool radius,and cutting *** surface roughness （R_z） values were applied using a *** objectives were to：（1）obtain the effective variables of wood surface roughness;（2） analyze which of these factors had an impact on variability in the cNc machining process;（3） evaluate the optimal cutting values within the range of different cutting levels of machining *** results indicate that the design of experiment（DOE） based on the desirability function approach determined the optimal machining parameters successfully,leading to minimum R_a compared to the observed *** surface roughness values of tangential and radial cutting directions were 3.58 and 3.21 μm,respectively.

Fluorite mineralization occurs along fractures and cracks of Middle Eocene and Pliocene limestones and marls in the north and northeast of the P?hrenk region (?i?ekdagi, Kirsehir). Tb/ca – Tb/La and Y/Ho ratios were obtained from REE contents of fluorites which have revealed that mineralization is of hydrothermal type. Negative ce anomalies and positive Eu anomalies reflect that hydrothermal solutions once had high oxygen fugacity. Fluid inclusion studies indicate that homogenization temperatures of mineralization varied between 90°c and 200°c, and hydrothermal solutions are composed of Nacl + Kcl + Mgcl2 + H2O. In addition, salinity measurements show that hydrothermal solutions were mixed with meteoric or rock formation water. Geologic setting, REE geochemistry and fluid inclusion studies suggest that mineralization was deposited from a solution generated by mixing of magmatic and meteoric water under epithermal conditions.

In this study, 16 irrigation schemes (Baklan, Irgilli, Sutlac, cal, cürüksu, Nazilli, Saraykoy, Pamukkale, Sultanhisar, Akcay, Aydin, Topcam, Karpuzlu, Isikli, Gümüssu ve Soke) having 166,381 hectares, built by State Hydraulic Works (DSI), and operated by participatory irrigation managements, and 14 hydroelectric power plants (HPP) operated and built on dams, canals and rivers by the public and private sectors are examined in the Büyük Menderes basin which is an important basin in terms of the agriculture, energy and ecology projects. Integrated basin management practices and the importance and role of irrigation and hydropower plant operation in integrated basin management, how it should be, optimal use of available water resources for irrigation and hydroelectric power plant operation, irrigation relationship with canal hydropower plants, operated under integrated basin management of irrigation and hydropower plants, environment and the ecological effects have been studied, and integrated basin management with the existing basin management conditions in terms of hydropower plant and irrigation operation on the basis of data of 2015 have been compared, reached important conclusions, and made recommendations on the subject.

Supernumerary marker chromosome 15 （sSMc[15]） is the most frequent marker chromosome, and it is generally regarded as unimportant if it does not contain the Prader-Willi/Angelman syndrome critical region （PWAcR）. The clinical importance of the larger markers in association with the critical region is mentioned in almost all reports related to marker chromosome 15, and smaller markers are solely associated with minor dysmorphic features, azoospermia and recurrent miscarriages. However, these small sSMc（15）s without the PWAcR may also determine a specific phenotype. A dysmorphic examination of an azoospermic patient in a genetics clinic was performed and was followed by a peripheral blood lymphocyte chromosomal analysis according to standard cytogenetic methods. Nucleolar region （NOR） banding, c-banding, fluorescence in situ hybridization and a molecular investigation of Y-microdeletions were also performed. The clinical evaluation identified dysmorphic features accompanied with azoospermia and severe ‘Angle class Ⅱ, Division 1 Open Bite Deformity＇. The molecular cytogenetic study revealed the small sSMc（15）. In addition, a Y-microdeletion analysis showed that the azoospermia was not the result of a deletion. Although the presented case might represent a coincidental example of supernumerary marker 15 and mandibular anomaly association, the condition may also define a specific phenotype that may be more than azoospermia. This condition may be characterized by infertility, malar hypoplasia, mandibular anomaly, keloid formation and minor dysmorphic features.

Six orange varieties (Washington Navel, Navelina, Navelate, Lane Late, cara cara, Valencia), four mandarin varieties (Okitsu Wase, Dobashi Beni, Ortanique, Satsuma Owari) and two grapefruit varieties (Star Ruby and Rio Red) were evaluated for their fruit quality characteristics such as fructose, glucose, sucrose, total sugars, malic acid, citric acid and Vitamin c contents. Sugars, carboxylic acids, and vitamin c contents of citrus juices were identified and quantified by HPLc (High Performance Liquid chromatography) technique. The predominating individual sugars were detected as sucrose in all mandarin and orange varieties except grapefruit varieties. Whereas fructose and glucose were found to be higher in grapefruit varieties, citric acid was considered as a major carboxylic acid in all citrus species and detected in oranges higher concentration than mandarin and grapefruit varieties. Furthermore, vitamin c content of grapefruit juices were detected higher concentration than the oranges (except cv. Valencia) and mandarins. Our results showed that itrus species differed in not only species but also varieties based on the sugar and acid characteristics.

Pesticide leaching is a great threat in low organic carbon soils when subjected to improper irrigation *** data are available on the sorption and leaching potential of pesticides in agricultural soils of Pakistan with low soil organic carbon(SOc).Lysimeter and field studies were conducted with and without manure application at two irrigation levels in a wheat-fallowmaize rotation in Faisalabad,Punjab,*** was applied to wheat 55 d after sowing at 1 kg active ingredient(a.i.)ha^(-1),while atrazine was sprayed on maize 30 d after sowing at 0.774 kg ***^(-1).Soil was sampled from three depths(0-35,35-70,and 70-110 cm) for the field study and four depths(0-35,35-70,70-115,and 115-160 cm) for the lysimeter study,280 and 65 d after application of isoproturon and atrazine,*** soil-water partition coefficients(K_d) of isoproturon and atrazine ranged from 0.3 to 1.2 and 0.4 to 1.5 L kg^(-1),respectively,and increased linearly with increase in SOc *** organic carbon-normalized soil-water partition coefficient(K_(oc)) of isoproturon and atrazine averaged 246.1 and 184.9 L kg^(-1),respectively,being higher with low spiking *** residues measured 280 d after application ranged from 2.1% to 3.6% of the applied mass in the lysimeter study and from 1.5% to 3.1% under field *** residues 65 d after application ranged from only 0.62% to 0.78% and from 0.88% to 0.82% in the lysimeter and field studies,*** lowest levels of residues for both pesticides were observed with frequent irrigation applied to manure-amended soil.A pesticide leaching risk screening tool,the ground water ubiquity score(GUS),indicated that in the absence of manure under both irrigation levels,isoproturon has a leaching potential(GUS = 2.8),while with the application of manure it has a very low leaching *** GUS ranged from 1.7 to 1.9,indicating a very low risk of leaching.

Fig (Ficus carica Linn (Moraceae)) is a deciduous tree that grows in tropical and subtropical zones [1]. Ficus carica has a broad spectrum of pharmacological activity and is widely used in traditional medicine. Research has found its use in more than 40 areas. Some of these are gastrointestinal, endocrine, respiratory, reproductive system disorders [2]. The fig seed oil contains alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), which is highly beta-sitosterol and herbal omega [3]. It can be used as a supplement in the treatment of diseases such as cardiovascular disorders, gastrointestinal disorders, and diabetes. Fig seed oil can be a good choice for skin hydration when used externally. In our study, the fig seed oil was analyzed by gas and liquid chromatography. In this study where linoleic acid (c18:2) and linolenic acid (c20:0) ratios found in fig seed oil composition were evaluated, the health benefits of two fatty acids were discussed based on the literature.

Purpose: To investigate the risk factors that influence outcome of visual function in children with glaucoma. Design: Retrospective noncomparative interventional case series. Participants: One hundred twenty-six patients (204 eyes) who had childhood glaucoma observed over 30 years,with a mean follow-up of 11.6 years. Interventions: Full ophthalmologic examination,including measurement of corrected visual acuity (VA),slit-lamp and fundus examinations,intraocular pressure (IOP) measurement,and gonioscopic evaluation; periodic cycloplegic refraction and perimetry; and treatment of amblyopia. Main Outcome Measures: Type of glaucoma; final best-corrected VA of good (6/6-6/12),fair (6/15-6/30),or poor (≤ 6/60); patient age at time of development of glaucoma complications; and percentage of IOP measurements of ≤ 19 mmHg,perimetry results,and cup-to-disc (c/D) ratio during follow-up. Results: The most recently measured VAs of children treated for glaucoma were good in 29% ,fair in 24% ,and poor in 47% . The most favorable outcome was for patients with primary infantile glaucoma followed by secondary glaucoma. Amblyopia and optic nerve damage due to glaucoma were the most frequent complications affectingVA. Patients with an IOP of ≤ 19mmHg on 80% of determinations had stable optic nerve c/D ratios and visual fields. conclusions: Vision sufficient to qualify for a motor vehicle driving license was attainable in almost 30% of affected eyes. Visual acuity achieved at 6 years of age remained stable over the study period. Treatment of amblyopia is important to achieve this result.
