This pa.er describes a.system for gra.ping known objects with unma.ned a.ria. vehicles (Ua.s) provided with dua. ma.ipula.ors using a. RGB-D ca.era. a.ria. ma.ipula.ion rema.ns a.very cha.lenging ta.k. This pa.er covers three principa. a.pects for this ta.k: object detection a.d pose estima.ion, gra.p pla.ning, a.d in-flight gra.p execution. First, a. a.tificia. neura. network (a.N) is used to obta.n clues rega.ding the object’s position. Next, a. a.ignment a.gorithm is used to obta.n the object’s sixdimensiona. (6D) pose, which is filtered with a. extended Ka.ma. filter. a.three-dimensiona. (3D) model of the object is then used to estima.e a. a.ra.ged list of good gra.ps for the a.ria. ma.ipula.or. The results from the detection a.gorithm—tha. is, the object’s pose—a.e used to upda.e the tra.ectories of the a.ms towa.d the object. If the ta.get poses a.e not rea.ha.le due to the Ua.’s oscilla.ions, the a.gorithm switches to the next fea.ible gra.p. This pa.er introduces the overa.l methodology, a.d provides the experimenta. results of both simula.ion a.d rea. experiments for ea.h module, in a.dition to a.video showing the results.

The world a.rport network（Wa.） is one of the networked infra.tructures tha. sha.e toda.＇s economic a.d socia. a.tivity, so its resilience a.a.nst incidents a.fecting the Wa. is a. importa.t problem. In this pa.er, the robustness of a.r route networks is extended by defining a.d testing severa. heuristics to define selection criteria.to detect the critica. nodes of the *** a.dition to heuristics ba.ed on genetic a.gorithms a.d simula.ed a.nea.ing, custom heuristics ba.ed on node da.a.e a.d node betweenness a.e defined. The most effective heuristic is a.multia.ta.k heuristic combining both custom heuristics. Results obta.ned a.e of importa.ce not only for a.va.ce in the understa.ding of the structure of complex networks, but a.so for critica. node detection.

The propa.a.ion velocity （Vs） of a. ultra.onic signa. through a.gra.ula. ma.eria. depends on the type of interpa.ticle conta.t. For noncohesive gla.s bea.s, a.power la. beha.ior Vs α σc1/6 for consolida.ion stresses a.plied （σc） a.ove 1 MPa.ha. been mea.ured in previous work. This equa.ion is compa.ible with Hertz＇s intera.tion la. between ela.tic solids. In the present work, we ha.e tested the propa.a.ion velocity of ultra.ound signa.s through a.sa.ple of fine powder. The tensile strength a.d compa.tivity of the powder were previously mea.ured by mea.s of the Seville powder tester （SPT）, indica.ing pla.tic deforma.ion of the surfa.e a.perities in conta.t for sma.l to modera.e consolida.ion stresses. However, the mea.urements of ultra.ound propa.a.ion a. high consolida.ions presented here a.e compa.ible with Hertz＇s la.. This finding suggests tha. for high consolida.ion stresses, surfa.e a.perities a.e fla.tened, a.d it is therefore the ela.tic deforma.ion of the bulk of the pa.ticles tha. determines the tra.smission of ultra.onic pulses.

The study of preda.or-prey intera.tions is commonly a.a.yzed using functiona. responses to ga.n a. understa.ding of preda.ion pa.terns a.d the impa.t they ha.e on prey *** this,little is known a.out preda.or-prey systems with multiple prey species in sites nea. the *** we studied the functiona. response of couga.s(Puma.concolor)in rela.ion to their ma.n prey,a.ma.illo(Da.ypus novemcinctus),coa.i(Na.ua.na.ica.a.d white-ta.led deer(Odocoileus virginia.us).Between 2004 a.d 2010,couga. sca.s were collected a.ong 5 tra.sects to estima.e the consumption of different prey species.a.rela.ive a.unda.ce index(Ra.)wa. ca.cula.ed for ea.h prey species a.d couga. using 18 ca.era.*** compa.ed Holling type I,II a.d III functiona. response models to determine pa.terns in prey consumption ba.ed on the rela.ive a.unda.ce a.d bioma.s of ea.h prey species *** 3 ma.n prey species comprised 55%(a.ma.illo),17%(coa.i)a.d 8%(white-ta.led deer)of the *** I a.d II functiona. responses described consumption of the 2 most common prey species a.ma.illos a.d coa.i simila.ly well,while a.type I response best cha.a.terized consumption of white-ta.led deer.a.nega.ive correla.ion between the proportions of a.ma.illo versus coa.i a.d white-ta.led deer bioma.s in couga. sca.s suggests switching to consume a.terna.ive prey,confirming high fora.ing pla.ticity of this *** work represents one of the few studies to compa.e functiona. responses a.ross multiple prey species,combined with evidence for prey-switching a. low densities of preferred prey.

Objective To investiga.e the potentia. effects of a.giogenic process by secretory phospholipa.e a. (sPLa.)inhibitor-HyPE(linking N-deriva.ized phospha.idyl-etha.ola.ine to hya.uronic a.id)on huma. bone ma.row endothelia. cell line(HBME-1). Methods In order to exa.ine the suppressing effects of HyPE on HBME-1 prolifera.ion, migra.ion, a.d ca.illa.y-like tube forma.ion, HBME-1 were a.tiva.ed by a.giogenic fa.tor, specifica.ly by ba.ic fibrobla.t growth fa.tor(b-FGF), va.cula. endothelia. growth fa.tor(VEGF),a.d oncosta.in M(OSM)(a. a.fina. concentra.ion of 25, 20, a.d 2.5 ng/mL, respectively), then HBME-1 prolifera.ion, migra.ion, a.d tube forma.tion were studied in the a.sence or presence of HyPE. HBME-1 tube forma.ion wa. specia.ly a.a.yzed in fibrin gel. Results HyPE effectively inhibited HBME-1 prolifera.ion a.d migra.ion a. a.dose-dependent ma.ner, wha.ever HBME-1 were grown in the control culture medium or stimula.ed with b-FGF, VEGF, or OSM. In fibrin, the forma.ions of HBME-1 derived tube-like structures were enha.ced by a.l a.giogenic fa.tors, but these were strongly suppressed by HyPE. conclusions The results support the involvement of sPLa. in a.giogenesis. It is proposed tha. sPLa. inhibitor introduces a.novel a.proa.h in the control of ca.cer development.
