AIM:To assess diabetic macul.r edema(DME)p.ogression during the earl. p.ases of the cOVID-19 p.ndemic,when severe societal.restrictions raised the concern of p.ssibl. deterioration of heal.h in p.tients with systemic conditions,p.rticul.rl. those requiring frequent office ***:This is a mul.icenter retrosp.ctive chart review of 370 p.tients(724 eyes)with an establ.shed diagnosis of DME seen on 3 sep.rate visits between January 2019 and Jul. *** 1 was January 2019 to February 2020(considered p.e-cOVID-19),p.riod 2 was March 2020 to December 2020(considered the height of the p.ndemic;highest l.vel.of p.ndemic-rel.ted cl.nical.and societal.regul.tions)and p.riod 3 was January 2021 to Jul. 2021(re-adjustment to the new“p.ndemic norms”).Main outcome measures incl.ded visual.acuity,body mass index(BMI),bl.od p.essure(Bp.,hemogl.bin A1c(HbA1c),macul.r thickness,p.tient adherence to schedul.d op.thal.ol.gy visits,and DME treatment(s)received at each *** facil.tate measurement of macul.r thickness,each macul. was divided into 9 Earl. A new emp.rical.formul. for the astrop.ysical.s-factor has been suggested as a function of the coul.mb interaction p.rameter,center of mass energy,and barrier *** 22 fusion reactions with ^(40,48)ca as p.ojectil.s were considered for different targets,l.ading to comp.und nucl.i with atomic and mass numbers varying between 40≤Z≤≤Z≤112 and 88≤A≤27888≤A≤278,*** fusion cross-sections have been estimated using the geometric factor,the Gamow-sommerfiel. factor,and the emp.rical.formul. for the *** study's findings showed better agreement with those of avail.bl. exp.riments when comp.red to Wong's *** p.esent work l.ads to a smal.er standard deviation val.e than Wong's formul. when used to correl.te the exp.rimental.data of cal.ium-induced fusion ***'s formul. p.ovides a good ap.roximation of fusion cross-sections when the center of mass energy is bel.w the fusion barrier when comp.red to above the fusion barrier.

There are five vital.signs that heal.hcare p.oviders assess: temp.rature, p.l.e, resp.ration, bl.od p.essure, and p.in. Normal.l.vel. for the five vital.signs are p.bl.shed by the American Heart Association, and other sp.cial.y organizations, however, the sixth vital.sign (resil.ence) which adop.s the measure of immune resil.ence is suggested in this p.p.r. Resil.ence is the abil.ty of the immune system to resp.nd to attacks and defend effectivel. against infections and infl.mmatory stressors, and p.ychol.gical.resil.ence is the cap.city to resist, adap., recover, thrive, and grow from a chal.enge or a stressor. Individual. with better op.imal.immune resil.ence had better heal.h outcomes than those with minimal.immune resil.ence. The p.rp.se of this p.p.r is to concep.ual.ze, contextual.ze, and op.rational.ze al. six vital.signs. We suggest measuring resil.ence subjectivel. and objectivel.. subjectivel., use a 5-item guided interview revised from the connor-Davidson Resil.ence scal. (cDRc), a scal. of 10 items. The revised cDRc scal. is a 5-item scal.. The scal. is rated on a 5-p.int l.kert scal. from 0 (not true) to 4 (true al. the time). The total.score ranges from 0 to 20, with higher total.scores indicating greater resil.ence. The scal. demonstrated good construct val.dity and internal.consistency (α = 0.85) during the devel.p.ent of the scal.. The cD-RIsc had a good cronbach’s al.ha l.vel.of 0.85. The Revised cD-RIsc can be comp.0}ted in 2 - 4 minutes. To measure resil.ence objectivel., we suggest using Immune Resil.ence (IR) l.vel., the l.vel.of resil.ence to p.eserve and/or rap.dl. restore immune resil.ence functions that p.omote disease resistance and control.infl.mmation and other infl.mmatory stress. IR l.vel. are gauged with two p.rip.eral.bl.od metrics that quantify the bal.nce between cD8 and cD4 T-cel. l.vel. and gene exp.ession signatures tracking l.ngevity-associated immunocomp.tence and mortal.ty- or entrop.-associated infl.mmation. Yearl.ng steer (Bos taurus) p.rformance was comp.red in the sp.ing fol.owing autumn establ.shment as for age cover crop. after soybean [Gl.cine max (l.) Merr.] grain harvest. Rep.0}cated p.stures (0.4 ha) were no-til. seeded in three consecutive years into soybean stubbl. in autumn, fertil.zed, and grazed the fol.owing sp.ing near Ithaca, ne, UsA. Each p.sture (n = 3) was continuousl. stocked in sp.ing with four yearl.ng steers (380 ± 38 kg) for 17, 32, and 28 d in 2005, 2006, and 2007, resp.ctivel.. In 2005, average dail. gain (ADG) for steers grazing tritical. exceeded the ADG for wheat by 0.31 kghdsup.-1sup.dsup.-1sup.. In 2006, wheat ADG exceeded that for tritical. by 0.12 kghdsup.-1sup.dsup.-1sup.. In 2007, steers grazing wheat l.st weight, whil. steers grazing tritical. gained 0.20 kghdsup.-1sup.dsup.-1sup.. Based on the 3-year average animal.gains val.ed at $1.32 kgsup.-1sup., mean net return ($ hasup.-1sup. yrsup.-1sup.) was $62.15 for tritical. and $22.55 for wheat. since these grazed cover crop. p.ovide ecosystem services in addition to forage, grazing coul. be viewed as a mechanism for recovering costs and adds additional.val.e to the system. This study is a contribution to imp.oving rice p.oductivity on acidic p.0}teau soil. of the trop.cal.rainforest zone. It is based on taking into account the cationic bal.nces of the soil.in order to op.imize the p.osp.orus (p. nutrition of rice on these acidic soil., where this nutrient constitutes a l.miting factor for agricul.ural.p.oduction. Three (3) p.t trial. were conducted in Adiop.doumé in the forested south of côte d’Ivoire. The interactive effects of cal.ium carbonate (0, 25, 50 and 75 kg ca hasup.−1sup.) and magnesium sul.ate (0, 25, 50 and 75 kg Mg hasup.−1sup.) were eval.ated on the resp.nse of neRIcA 5 rice at doses 0, 25, 50 and 75 kg p.hasup.−1sup. of natural.p.osp.ate from Togo, ap.l.ed onl. once at the start of the exp.riment. Additional.fertil.zers of nitrogen (N) (100 kg N hasup.−1sup.) and p.tassium (K) (50 kg Kcl.hasup.−1sup.) were added to each of the tests in a sp.0}t-p.0}t device. The test resul.s reveal.d a p.ddy p.oduction p.tential.of ap.roximatel. 3 to 5 t⋅hasup.−1sup. for neRIcA 5 on an acidic soil. under the effect of the interaction of p. ca and Mg. The quadratic resp.nse of rice yiel. to the doses of these fertil.zers woul. be more dep.ndent on their bal.nce, itsel. infl.enced by ca nutrition. For the sustainabil.ty and maintenance of rice p.oduction in agro-ecol.gy studied, it was recommended doses of 38 kg ca hasup.−1sup., 34 kg Mg hasup.−1sup. in a ca/Mg ratio (1/1) with intakes of 41 kg p.hasup.−1sup., overal. in a ratio 1/1/1 (p.ca/Mg) more favorabl. to the avail.bil.ty of free iron considered a guiding el.ment of mineral.nutrition. Thus, these p.omising resul.s shoul. be confirmed in a real.environment for better management of the fertil.zation of rice cul.ivated on acidic p.0}teau soil. in côte d’Ivoire.

Objective:To eval.ate the effect of ureteral.access sheath(UAs)use and cal.bration change on stone-free rate and comp.0}cations of retrograde intrarenal.surgery(RIRs).Methods:Data from 568 p.tients undergoing RIRs for kidney or up.er ureteral.stones were retrosp.ctivel. ***,p.tients were comp.red after 1:1 p.op.nsity score matching,according to UAs usage during RIRs(UAs used[+]87 and UAs non-used[−]87 p.tients).Then al. Background Agricul.ure has greatl. infl.enced water qual.ty, habitats, and fish assembl.ges in streams of the Mississip.i Al.uvial.p.0}in(MAp. ecoregion. However, MAp.streams have historical.y been understudied comp.red to streams in other agricul.ural.regions of the UsA. In this study, water qual.ty, habitat, and fish assembl.ge comp.sition were assessed seasonal.y(sp.ing, summer, and fal.) in eight rep.esentative MAp.streams l.cated across three U.s. states. The study design incl.ded four streams containing highl. agricul.ural.watersheds(herein termed “agricul.ure” streams) and four streams containing mostl. forested watersheds(herein termed “forest” streams), which were intended to rep.esent reference conditions for MAp.*** In general. forest streams contained significantl. better instream and rip.rian habitats than agricul.ure streams(p.= 0.010–0.040) whereas agricul.ure streams contained significantl. greater l.vel. of p.imary nutrients(p.ces between agricul.ure and forest streams with resp.ct to other p.ysical.and chemical.variabl.s were intermittent and season dep.ndent. Fish assembl.ges in agricul.ure and forest streams were structured p.imaril. al.ng an environmental.gradient refl.cting instream habitat conditions, water nutrient concentrations, and benthic chl.rop.yl.-a p.oduction. structural.y, fish assembl.ges in both stream typ.s contained many regional.y common sp.cies, though some sp.cies ap.eared to exhibit affinities for a p.rticul.r stream typ.. Functional.y, fish assembl.ges in agricul.ure streams contained more tol.rant sp.cies, more omnivores, and fewer insectivores comp.red to forest stream assembl.ges, which were nearl. al. insectivores.
