Turbulent flow simulation of a single-blade Magnus rotor

2008年5月12日,灾难性的汶川7.9级大地震袭击了青藏高原东缘,造成四川盆地西部多个大城市房屋倒塌和大量人员伤亡。如此大的地震之后,地壳应力的重新调整通常会导致破坏性地震发生(Steinet al,1997;Stein,1999;Mccloskey et al,2005;Parsonset al,2000;Parsons,2002)。5月12日地震的主震造成龙门山和四川盆地连接处最大位错量达9m,说明复杂的走滑和逆冲运动(ji and Hayes,2008)为该地区的特征(Burchfiel et al,1995;Densmore et al,2007)。四川盆地及其周边也有其他活跃的走滑和逆冲断层相互交错。本文利用地震断层模型计算了由2008年5月12日汶川地震引起的同震应力变化,结果显示很多地区应力显著增加。快速给出这种应力变化图像有助于确定未来可能发生强余震的断层段。

Anomalous open orbits in Hofstadter spectrum of chern insulator

The nontrivial band topology of chern insulator can enrich the content of its Hofstadter butterfly spectra, which is closely related to recent experiments in twisted bilayer graphene and cold atom systems. We investigate the Hofstadter spectrum for various models of chern insulators under a rational flux φ0/q, here φ0=h/e and q being an integer. We find the number of splitting subbands is |q-c| with c denoting the chern number of parent band. Importantly, anomalous open-orbital subbands with chern numbers q-1 and-q-1 emerge unexpectedly, which are beyond the parameter window（-q/2, q/2） of the Diophantine equation studied by Thouless-Kohmoto-Nightingale-den Nijs [Phys. Rev. Lett. 49, 405（1982）]. The emergence of anomalous open orbits can be traced by analyzing the evolution of the Hofstadter spectrum, identifying as a new type of topological phase transition. These novel findings not only pinpoint the peculiar Hofstadter spectrum of chern insulator, but also provide routes to study exotic characteristics beyond the Landau level physics.

The influence mechanism of environmental factors on DGT adsorbing sulfonamides and the migration between water and sediment

Obtaining the sulfonamides(SAs)concentrations in the water body and sediment bulk was a prerequisite to reveal their transport and partitioning behavior in sediment-water environments and accurately assess their ecological *** the present study,the influences of multifactor interactions on the performance of o-DGTs with XAD-18 binding gels were analyzed by central combination experiments and response surfaces analysis,in which the target compounds were 9 *** results indicated that dissolved organic matter(DOM),pH,and suspended particulate matter(SS)had significant effects on the o-DGT sampling,whereas this o-DGT was independent of the ionic strength(IS).concentning the composite influence of the four factors,the interaction between DOM and SS posed the most significant effect on all 9 SAs ***,an o-DGT and DIFSmodel was applied to explore the SAs migration between the water-sediments *** difference between desorption rate(k_(b))and adsorption rates(k_(f))values suggested that the kinetics of SAs was dominated by ***,the short-term sediment-water partitioning of SAs was clarified on the basis of distribution coefficient(K_(dl))for the labile SAs,among which the sulfadiazine(SDZ)had the largest labile *** ability of sediments to release SAs to the liquid phase as a sink was determined by response time(T_(c)).Among the 9 SAs,the longterm release of soseulfamethoxypyridazine(SMP)from the solid phase of sediments would have a potential risk to the aquatic environment,to which more attention should be paid in the future.

Biodiversity serves as the foundation for human survival and *** fishes play a crucial role in supporting both global biodiversity and food *** conventional methods for fish diversity and fishery resources survey are inadequate to meet the growing demand for large-scale and long-period *** eDNA metabarcoding approach provides an effective and noninvasive monitoring revolution,and has been applied to identify fish *** study conducted a comprehensive comparison of fish diversity in the East china Sea on a large scale both horizontally and *** results showed a total of 81 fish species,which were classified into 20 orders,44 families and 72 *** no statistically significant difference in fish diversity was found amongst the horizontal groups(east-middle-west,south-middle-north,and shallow-middle-deep)and the various sampling layers(surface-middle-bottom),discernible trends were obtained in this *** diversity results revealed the orders of east>middle>west,middle>north>south and deep>shallow>middle in horizontal ***,surface water exhibited a higher level of fish diversity than other water *** fish species were only detected at specific vertical *** diverse composition of fish species across different water layers can be attributed to their distinct ecological *** overall findings suggest that an increase of sampling stations and mixed samples should be collected in deeper water bodies for comprehensive understanding of fish *** study can also provide the fundamental data and experimental design reference for future studies and fishery management.

Influencing factors of early post-traumatic stress disorder in young and middle-aged individuals with open globe injuries in west china:a cross-sectional study

AIM:To evaluate the prevalence of early post-traumatic stress disorder(PTSD)among young and middle-aged patients who have suffered open globe injuries,and to identify the psychosocial factors influencing PTSD in these ***:A total of 280 patients who underwent ocular trauma surgery between January 2023 and January 2024 were selected through convenience *** were collected using a custom-designed demographic questionnaire,the connor-Davidson Resilience Scale(cDRISc),the cognitive Emotion Regulation Questionnaire(c-ERRI),and the PTSD checklist-civilian Version(PcL-c).Univariate analysis and stepwise multiple linear regression analysis were performed to determine the factors affecting PTSD in these ***:The average PTSD score for the patients was 33.22±*** scores for individual PTSD dimensions,ranked from highest to lowest,were recurrent traumatic experiences,heightened arousal,avoidance reactions,and social *** PTSD symptoms were observed in 85 patients(30.36%).Univariate analysis indicated that gender,postoperative vision,marital status,psychological resilience,and rumination were significant factors affecting PTSD symptoms(χ^(2)/t=6.53,17.88,8.83,2.17,and 14.1,respectively;all Pcorrelation analysis showed a positive correlation between rumination and PTSD symptoms(r=0.73,Pcorrelation between psychological resilience and PTSD symptoms(r=-0.14,Pchological resilience(optimism)as major factors influencing PTSD in these patients(R^(2)=0.57,PcONcLUSION:Young and middle-aged patients with open globe injuries have a high incidence of *** risk factors for early PTSD include primary enucleation,high levels of rumination,and low psychological resilience(optimism).conversely,patients with good postoperative vision recovery,low rumination l

Interface modulation is an important pathway for highly efficient electromagnetic wave ***,tailored interfaces between Fe_(3)O_(4)particles and the hexagonal-YFeO_(3)(h-YFeO_(3))framework were constructed via facile *** resulting interfa-cial electron rearrangement at the heterojunction led to enhanced dielectric and magnetic loss *** results and density function theory(DFT)simulations demonstrate a transition in electrical properties from a half-metallic monophase to metallic Fe_(3)O_(4)/h-YFeO_(3)composites,emphasizing the advantages of the formed *** transformation of electron behavior is also accompan-ied by a redistribution of electrons at the Fe_(3)O_(4)/h-YFeO_(3)heterojunction,leading to the accumulation of localized electrons around the Y-O-Fe band bridge,consequently enhancing the polarization.A minimum reflection loss of-34.0 dB can be achieved at 12.0 GHz and 2.0 mm thickness with an effective bandwidth of 3.3 GHz due to the abundant interfaces,enhanced polarization,and rational ***,the synergistic effects endow the Fe_(3)O_(4)/h-YFeO_(3)composites with high performance and tunable functional properties for efficient electromagnetic absorption.

Solar radiation modification, a scheme aimed at mitigating rapid global warming triggered by anthropogenic greenhouse gas emissions, has been explored through the G1ext experiment under the Geoengineering Model Intercomparison Project (GeoMIP) framework, utilizing the chinese Academy of Sciences Earth System Model version 2 (cAS-ESM2.0). This paper briefly describes the basic configuration and experimental design of the cAS-ESM2.0 for G1ext, which involves a sudden reduction in solar irradiance to counterbalance the radiative forcing of an abrupt quadrupling of atmospheric cO2 concentration, running for 100 years. Preliminary results show that this model can reproduce well the compensatory effect of a uniform decrease in global solar radiation on the radiative forcing resulting from an abrupt quadrupling of cO2 concentration. Like other Earth system models, cAS-ESM2.0 reasonably captures variations in radiative adjustments, surface air temperature, and precipitation patterns, both globally and locally, under the G1ext scenario. The generated datasets have been released on the Earth System Grid Federation data server, providing insight into the potential efficacy and impact of solar geoengineering strategies.
