The excitation mechanism of coronal quasi-period fast-propagating(QFP)wave trains remains *** Atmospheric.imaging Assembly onboard the Solar Dynamics Observatory observations,we study a narrow and a broad QFP wave trains excited one after another during the successive eruptions of filaments hosted within a fan-spine magnetic system on October 20,*** consecutive occurrence of these two types of QFP wave trains in the same event provides an excellent opportunity to explore their excitation mechanisms and compare their physical *** observational results reveal that narrow and broad QFP wave trains exhibit distinct speeds,periods,energy fluxes,and relative intensity amplitudes,although originating from the same ac.ive region and being associated with the same GOES c2.9 *** wavelet analysis,we find that the narrow QFP wave train shares a similar period with the flare itself,suggesting its possible excitation through the pulsed energy release in the magnetic reconnec.ion process that generated the accompanying *** the other hand,the broad QFP wave train appears to be associated with the energy pulses released by the successive expansion and unwinding of filament ***,it is plausible that the broad QFP wave train was also excited by the sequential stretc.ing of closed magnetic field lines driven by the erupting *** findings shed light on the different excitation mechanisms and origins of the QFP wave trains.

Projected changes in Köppen-Trewartha c.imate zones under 1.5-4℃global warming targets over mid-high latitudes of Northern Asia using an ensemble of RegcM4 simulations

Mid-high latitude Northern Asia is one of the most vulnerable and sensitive areas to global warming,but relatively less studied *** used an ensemble of a regional c.imate model(RegcM4)projec.ions to assess future changes in surface air temperature,precipitation and Köppen-Trewartha(K-T)c.imate types in Northern Asia under the 1.5-4℃global warming ***4 is driven by five c.iP5 global models over an East Asia domain at a grid spacing of 25 *** of the present day(1986-2005)simulations shows that the ensembles of RegcM4(ensR)and driving GcMs(ensG)reproduce the major characters of the observed temperature,precipitation and K-T c.imate zones reasonably *** and more realistic spatial detail is found in RegcM4 compared to the driving GcMs.A general warming and overall increases in precipitation are projected over the region,with these changes being more pronounced at higher warming *** projected warming by ensR shows different spatial patterns,and is in general lower,compared to ensG in most months of the year,while the percentage increases of precipitation are maximum during the cold *** future changes in K-T c.imate zones are characterized by a substantial expansion of Dc(temperature oceanic)and retreat of Ec(sub-arc.ic continental)over the region,reac.ing∼20%under the 4℃warming *** most notable change in c.imate types in ensR is found over Japan(∼60%),followed by Southern Siberia,Mongolia,and the Korean Peninsula(∼40%).The largest change in the K-T c.imate types is found when increasing from 2 to 3℃.The results will help to better assess the impacts of c.imate change and in implementation of appropriate adaptation measures over the region.

Discrete element method(DEM)is an effec.ive approach for studying the screening process of flip-flow ***,there have been few studies focusing on the thick layer of sticky-wet particles on flip-flow *** ac.ieve accurate simulations of the thick layer of sticky-wet particles on a flip-flow screen,firstly,the movement law of particle flow was studied,and a multi-regime combination cali-bration method based on characteristics of particle flow regimes was *** on the Plackett-Burman experiment,the curse of dimensionality caused by multi-state and multi-contact parameters was ***,the lifting cylinder,rotating drum,and trampoline tests were carried out to obtain macroscopic reference values under various granular flow *** calibration results were then determined using the response surface method and c.imbing ***,the calibration results were tested at both macroscopic and mesoscopic scales and compared with a commonly used calibration *** results demonstrate that the calibration method,which considers the multi-state characteristics,improves simulation accuracy by 2%-10%and reduces the simulation error to less than 10%,thus meeting the requirements for engineering optimization of flip-flow screens.

As a cornerstone of the national economy,the iron and steel industry generates a significant amount of sintering dust containing both valuable lead resources and deleterious *** is a promising technique for lead recovery from sintering dust,but efficient separation from Fe_(2)O_(3) is still *** study investigated the cooperative effect of sodium lauryl sulfate(SLS,c_(12)H_(25)SO_(4)Na)and sodium pyrophosphate(SPP,Na_(4)P_(2)O_(7))on the selec.ive flotation of lead oxide minerals(PbOHcl and PbSO_(4))from hematite(Fe_(2)O_(3)).Optimal flotation conditions were first identified,resulting in high recovery of lead oxide minerals while inhibiting Fe_(2)O_(3) *** potential measurements,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-iR)analysis,adsorption capacity analysis,and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)studies offer insights into the adsorption behaviors of the reagents on mineral surfaces,revealing strong adsorption of SLS on PbOHcl and PbSO_(4) surfaces and remarkable adsorption of SPP on Fe_(2)O_(3).The proposed model of reagent adsorption on mineral surfaces illustrates the selec.ive adsorption behavior,highlighting the pivotal role of reagent adsorption in the separation *** findings contribute to the efficient and environmentally friendly utilization of iron ore sintering dust for lead recovery,paving the way for sustainable resource management in the iron and steel industry.

Research progress in tumor angiogenesis and drug resistance in breast cancer

Angiogenesis is considered a hallmark pathophysiological process in tumor development. Aberrant vasculature resulting from tumor angiogenesis plays a c.itical role in the development of resistance to breast cancer treatments, via exacerbation of tumor hypoxia, decreased effec.ive drug concentrations within tumors, and immune-related mechanisms. Antiangiogenic therapy can counteract these breast cancer resistance factors by promoting tumor vascular normalization. The combination of antiangiogenic therapy with chemotherapy, targeted therapy, or immunotherapy has emerged as a promising approach for overcoming drug resistance in breast cancer. This review examines the mechanisms associated with angiogenesis and the interac.ions among tumor angiogenesis, the hypoxic tumor microenvironment, drug distribution, and immune mechanisms in breast cancer. Furthermore, this review provides a comprehensive summary of specific antiangiogenic drugs, and relevant studies assessing the reversal of drug resistance in breast cancer. The potential mechanisms underlying these interventions are discussed, and prospects for the c.inical application of antiangiogenic therapy to overcome breast cancer treatment resistance are highlighted.

Green-synthesized, biochar-supported nZVi from mango kernel residue for aqueous hexavalent chromium removal: Performance, mechanism and regeneration

A biochar-supported green nZVi(G-nZVi@MKB)composite was synthesized using mango kernel waste with“dual identity”as reductant and biomass of *** G-nZVi@MKB with a Fe/c mass ratio of 2.0(G-nZVi@MKB2)was determined as the most favorable composite for hexavalent chromium(cr(Vi))*** influencing parameters were discussed,and 99.0%of cr(Vi)removal occurred within 360 min under these optimized ***-second order kinetic model and intra-particle diffusion model well depicted cr(Vi)removal *** XRD,FTiR,SEM,and XPS analyses verified the key roles of G-nZVi and func.ional groups,as well as the primary removal mechanisms involving electrostatic attrac.ion,reduc.ion,and complexation.G-nZVi@MKB2 exhibited good stability and reusability with only a 16.4%dec.ine in cr(Vi)removal after five *** study offered evidence that mango kernel could be recycled as a beneficial resource to synthesize green nZVi-loaded biochar composite for efficient cr(Vi)elimination from water.

Numerical and experimental investigation on hydraulic-electric rock fragmentation of heterogeneous granite

Hydraulic-electric rock fragmentation(HERF)plays a significant role in improving the efficiency of high voltage pulse rock ***,the underlying mechanism of HERF remains *** this study,considering the heterogeneity of the rock,microscopic thermodynamic properties,and shockwave time domain waveforms,based on the shockwave model,digital imaging technology and the discrete element method,the cyc.ic loading numerical simulations of HERF is ac.ieved by coupling electrical,thermal,and solid mechanics under different formation temperatures,confining pressure,initial peak voltage,electrode bit diameter,and loading ***,the HERF discharge system is conducive to the laboratory experiments with various electrical parameters and the resulting broken pits are numerically reconstructed to obtain the geometric *** results show that,the completely broken area consists of powdery rock *** the pre-broken zone,the mineral cementation of the rock determines the transition of type cⅠcracks to type cⅡand type cⅢ***,the peak pressure of the shockwave increased with initial peak voltage but decreased with electrode bit diameter,while the wave front time ***,increasing well depth,formation temperature and confining pressure augment and inhibit HERF,but once confining pressure surpassed the threshold of 60 MPa for 152.40,215.90,and 228.60 mm electrode bits,and 40 MPa for 309.88 mm electrode bits,HERF is ***,for the same kind of rock,the volume and width of the broken pit increase with higher initial peak voltage and rock fissures will promote ***,the electrode drill bit with a 215.90 mm diameter is more suitable for drilling pink *** research contributes to a better microscopic understanding of HERF and provides valuable insights for electrode bit selec.ion,as well as the optimization of circ.it parameters for HERF technology.

Mac.ine learning methods for predic.ing the uniaxial compressive strength of the rocks:a comparative study

The uniaxial compressive strength(UcS)of rocks is a c.itical index for evaluating the mechanical properties and construc.ion of an engineering rock mass classification *** most commonly used method for determining the UcS in laboratory settings is expensive and *** this reason,UcS can be estimated using an indirect determination method based on several simple laboratory tests,including point-load strength,rock density,longitudinal wave velocity,Brazilian tensile strength,Schmidt hardness,and shore *** this study,six data sets of indices for different rock types were utilized to predict the UcS using three nonlinear combination models,namely back propagation(BP),particle swarm optimization(PSO),and least squares support vector mac.ine(LSSVM).Moreover,the best predic.ion model was examined and selected based on four performance predic.ion *** results reveal that the PSO–LSSVM model was more successful than the other two models due to its higher performance *** ratios of the predicted UcS to the measured UcS for the six data sets were 0.954,0.982,0.9911,0.9956,0.9995,and 0.993,*** results were more reasonable when the predicted ratio was close to a value of approximately 1.

Remarkable N_(2)-selec.ivity enhancement of NH_(3)-ScR over HPMo modified Mnco-BTc@SiO_(2) catalyst

in this work,the phosphomolybdate(HPMo)modification strategy was applied to improve the N_(2) selec.ivity of Mn co-BTc@SiO_(2)catalyst for the selec.ive catalytic reduc.ion of NO_(x),and further,the mechanism of HPMo modification on enhanced catalytic performance was *** Mn co-BTc@SiO_(2-x) catalysts with different HPMo concentrations,Mn coBTc@SiO_(2)-0.75 catalyst exhibited not only the highest NH_(3)-ScR performance(95% at 200-300℃)but also the best N_(2)selec.ivity(exceed 80% at 100-300℃)due to the appropriate redox capacity,greater surface acidity.X-ray photoelectron spectrometer(XPS)and temperature programmed reduc.ion of H_(2)(H_(2)-TPR)results showed that the modification with HPMo reduced the oxidation-reduc.ion performance of the catalyst due to electron transfer from Mo^(5+)to Mn^(4+)/Mn^(3+)and prevent the excessive oxidation of ammonia adsorption ***_(3)temperature-programmed desorption of(NH_(3)-TPD)results showed that the modification with HPMo could significantly improve the surface acidity and NH_(3)adsorption,which enhance the catalytic ac.ivity and N_(2)***-situ diffused reflectance infrared Fourier transform spectroscopy(in-situ DRiFTS)revealed that modification with HPMo increased significantly the amount of adsorbed NH_(3)species on the Bronsted acid site and c_(B)/c_(L),it suppressed the produc.ion of N_(2)O by inhibiting the produc.ion of NH species,the deep dehydrogenation of ammonia adsorption *** study provided a simple design strategy for the catalyst to improve the low-temperature catalytic performance and N_(2)selec.ivity.
