The unsupervised multi-modal image translation is an emerging domain of computer vision whose goal is to transform an image from the source domain into many diverse styles in the target ***,the multi-generator mechanism is employed among the advanced approaches available to model different domain mappings,which results in inefficient training of neural networks and pattern collapse,leading to inefficient generation of image *** address this issue,this paper introduces a multi-modal unsupervised image translation framework that uses a generator to perform multi-modal image ***,firstly,the domain code is introduced in this paper to explicitly control the different generation ***,this paper brings in the squeeze-and-excitation(SE)mechanism and feature attention(FA)***,the model integrates multiple optimization objectives to ensure efficient multi-modal *** paper performs qualitative and quantitative experiments on multiple non-paired benchmark image translation datasets while demonstrating the benefits of the proposed method over existing ***,experimental results have shown that the proposed method is versatile and scalable.

Influenza A virus(IAV)continues to pose a pandemic threat to public health,resulting a high mortality rate annually and during pandemic *** modification of viral protein plays a substantial role in regulating IAV ***,based on immunoprecipitation(IP)-based mass spectrometry(MS)and purified virus-coupled MS,a total of 89 phosphorylation sites distributed among 10 encoded viral proteins of IAV were identified,including 60 novel phosphorylation ***,for the first time,we provide evidence that PB2 can also be acetylated at site ***,the PB2 S181 phosphorylation site was consistently identified in both IP-based MS and purified virus-based *** S181 and K187 are exposed on the surface of the PB2 protein and are highly conserved in various IAV strains,suggesting their fundamental importance in the IAV life *** analysis results demonstrated that S181E/A and K187Q/R mimic mutations do not significantly alter the PB2 protein *** continuous phosphorylation mimicked by the PB2 S181E mutation substantially decreases viral fitness in mice,PB2 K187Q mimetic acetylation slightly enhances viral virulence in ***,PB2 S181E substantially impairs viral polymerase activity and viral replication,remarkably dampens protein stability and nuclear accumulation of PB2,and significantly weakens IAV-induced inflammatory ***,our study further enriches the database of phosphorylation and acetylation sites of influenza viral proteins,lay.ng a foundation for subsequent mechanistic ***,the unraveled antiviral effect of PB2 S181E mimetic phosphorylation may provide a new target for the subsequent study of antiviral drugs.

The Pacific subtropical cells(STcs)are shallow meridional overturning circulations connecting the tropics and subtropics,and are assumed to be an important driver of the tropical Pacific decadal *** variability of STcs under global warming is investigated using multimodal outputs from the latest phase of the coupled Model Inter-comparison Project(cMIP6)and ocean reanalysis ***,the volume transport diagnostic analysis is employed to evaluate how coupled models and ocean reanalysis products reproduce interior STc *** variation of heat transport by the interior STc under the high-emissions warming scenarios is also *** results show that the multimodal-mean linear trends of the interior STc transport along 9°S and 9°n are-0.02 Sv/a and 0.04 Sv/a under global warming,respectively,which is mainly due to the combined effect of the strengthened upper oceanic stratification and the weakening of wind *** is a compensation relationship between the interior STc and the western boundary transport in the future climate,and the compensation relationship of 9°S is more significant than that of 9°*** addition,compared with ocean reanalysis products,the coupled models tend to underestimate the variability of the interior STc transport convergence,and thus may lose some sea surface temperature(SST)driving force,which may be the reason for the low STc-SST correlation simulated by the *** future scenario simulation shows that the heat transport of interior STc is weakened under global warming,with a general agreement across models.

In recent years,the addition of ni has been widely acknowledged to be capable of enhancing the mechanical properties of Al-Si ***,the effect of ni on the wear behaviors of Al-Si alloys and Al matrix composites,particularly at elevated temperat-ures,remains an understudied *** this study,Al-Si-cu-Mg-ni/20wt%Sic particles(Sicp)composites with vary.ng ni contents were prepared by using a semisolid stir casting *** effect of ni content on the dry sliding wear behavior of the prepared compos-ites was investigated through sliding tests at 25 and 350℃.Results indicated that theθ-Al_(2)cu phase gradually diminished and eventually disappeared as the ni content increased from 0wt%to 3wt%.This change was accompanied by the formation and increase inδ-Al_(3)cuni andε-Al_(3)ni phases in *** hardness and ultimate tensile strength of the as-cast composites improved,and the wear rates of the composites decreased from 5.29×10^(−4)to 1.94×10^(−4)mm^(3)/(n∙m)at 25℃and from 20.2×10^(−4)to 7×10^(−4)mm^(3)/(n∙m)at 350℃with the increase in ni content from 0wt%to 2wt%.The enhancement in performance was due to the presence of strengthening network structures and additional ni-containing phases in the ***,the wear rate of the 3ni composite was approximately two times higher than that of the 2ni composite due to the fracture and debonding of theε-Al_(3)ni *** wear,delamination wear,and oxidation wear were the predominant wear mechanisms of the investigated composites at 25℃,whereas delamination wear and oxid-ation wear were dominant during sliding at 350℃.

Underwater image enhancement aims to restore a clean appearance and thus improves the quality of underwater degraded *** methods feed the whole image directly into the model for ***,they ignored that the R,G and B channels of underwater degraded images present varied degrees of degradation,due to the selective absorption for the *** address this issue,we propose an unsupervised multi-expert learning model by considering the enhancement of each color ***,an unsupervised architecture based on generative adversarial network is employed to alleviate the need for paired underwater *** on this,we design a generator,including a multi-expert encoder,a feature fusion module and a feature fusion-guided decoder,to generate the clear underwater ***,a multi-expert discriminator is proposed to verify the authenticity of the R,G and B channels,*** addition,content perceptual loss and edge loss are introduced into the loss function to further improve the content and details of the enhanced *** experiments on public datasets demonstrate that our method achieves more pleasing results in vision *** metrics(PSnR,SSIM,UIQM and UcIQE) evaluated on our enhanced images have been improved obviously.

This paper focuses on the laminar flame instability of three high molecular weight n-alkanes,namely.n-hexane,n-octane,and *** experiment was carried out in a constant volume combustion bomb to get the flame *** critical radius under different conditions was extracted using the image processing *** with the existing critical Peclet number theory,the dominant factors of flame instability under current conditions for three n-alkanes can be figured ***,the average cell size(equivalent cell radius,R_(cell))was extracted to provide quantitative analysis of the flame cellular structure,based on the method developed in this *** theoretical R_(cell)were also calculated and compared with the experimental results to validate the proposed method.

For the sake of solving the problem that it is difficult to be integrated for the Mises specific plastic power due to its nonlinearity,a new linear criterion,named the globally optimal approximation criterion,is constructed by the polygonal approximation to the Mises *** new criterion is proved to be the linear function of the principal stress componentsσ1,σ2 andσ3 and the trajectory of it on theπ-plane is a non-equiangular but equilateral dodecagon intersecting the Mises *** theoretical results of the current criterion described by the Lode stress parameters are in excellent accordance with the experimental ***,according to the trend that the metallic flow velocity between rollers aggrandizes gradually from the inlet to the outlet during the hot rolling of a thick plate,a biomimetic velocity field is proposed in which the horizontal velocity component fits the egg-circular curve *** velocity field and its simulated results agree quite ***,using the determined linear criterion,energy analysis of the constructed velocity field is utilized to obtain the interior deformation power,while the vector decomposition approach is utilized to obtain the frictional power and shear *** this basis,the overall power is obtained and the analytical solutions are generated for the rolling torque,rolling force and the coefficient of the stress state under different egg curves by minimizing the neutral ***,the parameter optimization of the characteristic parameterρwhich affects the slope of the egg-circular curve is carried out and the best egg-circular curve which can minimize the energy consumption is *** best agreement between the theoretical and observed values of rolling force and rolling torque is under this curve,and the mean relative errors of the rolling torque and rolling force are no more than 2.93%,while the maximum error is no more than 8.35%.

The Ti/Al/Ti clad plates exhibit a broad spectrum of potential ***,the conventional techniques of hot-pressing composite and explosive composite are intricate and environmentally hazardous.A novel method was introduced for preparing clad plates,namely,the powder-in-tube *** method involves a combination of cold rolling,annealing at a temperature of 550℃,and double *** morphology of the intermetallic compound layer was analyzed through the utilization of interface stripping test,tensile test,and microscopic *** interface morphology,interface bonding properties,tensile fracture structures,and properties of plates under the first and second rolling were compared,along with the effects of intermetallic compounds on the interface *** results indicate that the powder-in-tube method,when annealed at 550℃,can produce a composite plate featuring a complete and uniform Ti/Al *** obtained plate exhibits a peeling strength of 21.5 n/mm,tensile strength of 424 MPa,and elongation of 11.5%.Furthermore,a systematic analysis was conducted to determine the causes of performance degra-dation observed during annealing at temperatures of 600 and 650℃.
