Sesame Fusarium wilt(SFW),caused by Fusarium oxysporum ***(Fos),is one of the most devastating diseases affecting sesame *** the genetic control of SFW resistance is pivotal for effective disease management in *** inheritance study on a cross between the highly resistant variety Yuzhi 11 and the highly susceptible accession Sp1 using a Fos pathogenicity group 1 isolate indicated that resistance was conferred by a single dominant *** target locus was located in a 1.24 Mb interval on chromosome 3 using a combination of cross-population association mapping and bulked segregant *** genetic mapping further narrowed the interval between 21,350 and 21,401 *** locus Sindi_0812400 was identified as the SFW resistance gene and officially designated *** gene encodes a specific malectin/receptor-like protein kinase with three putative tandem kinase domains and is considered a kinase fusion *** analysis revealed that a high proportion(49.44%)of variants within the locus was located within the kinase domainⅢ,and several of which were evidently associated with the diversity in SFW response,indicating the critical role of kinase domainⅢin expression of disease *** findings provide valuable information for further functional analysis of SFW resistance genes and marker-assisted resistance breeding in sesame.

Polymer/conductive filler composites have been widely used for the preparation of self-limiting heating cables with the positive temperature coefficient (PTc) effect. The control of conductive filler distribution and network in polymer matrix is the most critical for performance of PTc materials. In order to compensate for the destruction of the filler network structure caused by strong shearing during processing, an excessive conductive filler content is usually added into the polymer matrix, which in turn sacrifices its processability and mechanical properties. In this work, a facile post-treatment of the as-extruded cable, including thermal and electrical treatment to produce high-density polyethylene (HDPE)/carbon black (cB) cable with excellent PTc effect, is developed. It is found for the as-extruded sample, the strong shearing makes the cB particles disperse uniformly in HDPE matrix, and 25 wt% cB is needed for the formation of conductive paths. For the thermal-treated sample, a gradually aggregated cB filler structure is observed, which leads to the improvement of PTc effect and the notable reduction of cB content to 20 wt%. It is very interesting to see that for the sample with combined thermal and electrical treatment, cB particles are agglomerated and oriented along the electric field direction to create substantial conductive paths, which leads to a further decrease of cB content down to 15 wt%. In this way, self-limiting heating cables with excellent processability, mechanical properties and PTc effect have simultaneously been achieved.

Most of the current research on user friendship speculation in location-based social networks is based on the co-occurrence characteristics of users,however,statistics find that co-occurrence is not common among all users;meanwhile,most of the existing work focuses on mining more features to improve the accuracy but ignoring the time complexity in practical *** this basis,a friendship inference model named ITSIc is proposed based on the similarity of user interest tracks and joint user location *** utilizing MeanShift clustering algorithm,ITSIc clustered and filtered user check-ins and divided the dataset into interesting,abnormal,and noise *** interest trajectories were constructed from user interest check-in data,which allows ITSIc to work efficiently even for users without *** the same time,by application of clustering,the single-moment multi-interest trajectory was further proposed,which increased the richness of the meaning of the trajectory *** extensive experiments on two real online social network datasets show that ITSIc outperforms existing methods in terms of AUc score and time efficiency compared to existing methods.

The incorporation of dynamic covalent bonds into thermosets facilitates the reprocessing of polymer networks,thereby meeting the sustainable requirements for polymer ***,the mechanical properties of many materials often decline significantly upon reprocessing due to side reactions caused by harsh processing *** this work,we find that the aromatic dithiocarbamate bond can undergo dissociation under mild conditions without the need for a catalyst,enabling the efficient reprocessing of the corresponding *** a consequence,the mechanical properties of the polydithiourethane can be largely preserved after *** discovery of this dynamic chemistry is anticipated to broaden the potential for material design in dynamic covalent polymer networks.

Lipid nanoparticles(LNPs) have gained clinical approval as carriers for both siRNA and mRNA. Among the crucial components of LNPs, ionizable lipids play a pivotal role in determining the efficiency of RNA delivery. In this study, we synthesized a series of ionizable lipids, denoted as HTO, with a higher count of hydroxyl groups compared to SM-102. Remarkably, LNPs based on HTO12 lipid demonstrated comparable mRNA delivery efficiency and biosafety to those based on SM-102. However, the former reduced the ratio of ionizable lipid/total lipids to mRNA in LNPs by 2.5 times compared to SM-102. The HTO12 LNP efficiently encapsulated adenine base editor mRNA and sgRNA targeting Pcsk9, leading to substantial gene editing within the liver of mice and effective reduction of the target protein. Our study underscores that ionizable lipids with multiple hydroxyl groups may facilitate an improved lipid-to-mRNA ratio to minimize the dosage of ionizable lipids for in vivo delivery.
