The thermal examination of a non-integer-ordered mob.le fin with a magnetism in the presence of a trihyb.id nanofluid(Fe_3O_4-Au-Zn-b.ood) is carried out. Three types of nanoparticles, each having a different shape, are considered. These shapes include spherical(Fe_3O_4), cylindrical(Au), and platelet(Zn) configurations. The comb.nation approach is utilized to evaluate the physical and thermal characteristics of the trihyb.id and hyb.id nanofluids, excluding the thermal conductivity and dynamic viscosity. These two properties are inferred b. means of the interpolation method b.sed on the volume fraction of nanoparticles. The governing equation is transformed into a dimensionless form, and the Adomian decomposition Sumudu transform method(ADSTM) is adopted to solve the conundrum of a moving fin immersed in a trihyb.id nanofluid. The ob.ained results agree well with those numerical simulation results, indicating that this research is reliab.e. The influence of diverse factors on the thermal overview for varying noninteger values of γ is analyzed and presented in graphical representations. Furthermore, the fluctuations in the heat transfer concerning the pertinent parameters are studied. The results show that the heat flux in the presence of the comb.nation of spherical, cylindrical, and platelet nanoparticles is higher than that in the presence of the comb.nation of only spherical and cylindrical nanoparticles. The temperature at the fin tip increases b. 0.705 759% when the value of the Peclet numb.r increases b. 400%, while decreases b. 11.825 13% when the value of the Hartman numb.r increases b. 400%.

Urotensin-I(UI)is a peptide b.longing to the corticotropin-releasing hormone family,produced in the urophysis of *** investigation was undertaken to examine the effect of UI on the hypothalamo-hypophyseal-ovarian axis in the Mozamb.que tilapia,a cichlid *** the first experiment,administration of UI(2μg/100μL saline)for 22 days caused a significant reduction in the numb.r of follicles at stages I,II,III(previtellogenic),IV(vitellogenic),and V(preovulatory),concomitant with a significant increase in the percent atresia of follicles at stages II,III,and IV than in *** the pituitary,gonadotropin-releasing hormone(GnRH)-positive fib.es were detected in the proximal pars distalis(PPD)in b.th controls and UI-treated fish;however,there was a significant reduction in the intensity and percent area of GnRH-immunoreactive fib.es in fish treated with UI compared with *** serum luteinizing hormone(LH)level was significantly lower,whereas a significant rise in the serum level of cortisol was noticed in UI-treated fish compared with *** the second experiment,treatment with a low dose of UI(10 mM)did not affect the numb.r of AcTH-secreting cells in vitro,b.t the numb.r of these cells was significantly higher in high-dose UI(50 mM)-treated pituitaries compared to ***,the present investigation reveals for the first time that the treatment of UI affects the follicular development process through the downregulation of the GnRH-LH axis and activation of the pituitary-interrenal pathway in teleosts.

b.ckground: Elastomeric pumps (elastic b.lls into which analgesics or antib.otics can b. inserted) push medicines through a catheter to a nerve or b.ood vessel. Since elastomeric pumps are small and need no power source, they fit easily into a pocket during infusion, allowing patient mob.lity. Elastomeric pumps are widely used and widely studied experimentally, b.t they have well-known prob.ems, such as maintaining reliab.e flow rates and avoiding toxicity or other peak-and-trough effects. Ob.ectives: Our research ob.ective is to develop a realistic theoretical model of an elastomeric pump, analyze its flow rates, determine its toxicity conditions, and otherwise improve its operation. We b.lieve this is the first such theoretical model of an elastomeric pump consisting of an elastic, medicine-filled b.ll attached to a horizontal catheter. Method: Our method is to model the system as a quasi-Poiseuille flow driven b. the pressure drop generated b. the elastic sphere. We construct an engineering model of the pressure exerted b. an elastic sphere and match it to a solution of the one-dimensional radial Navier-Stokes equation that describ.s flow through a horizontal, cylindrical tub.. Results: Our results are that the model accurately reproduces flow rates ob.ained in clinical studies. We also discover that the flow rate has an unavoidab.e maximum, which we call the “toxicity b.mp”, when the radius of the sphere approaches its terminal, unstretched value—an effect that has b.en ob.erved experimentally. conclusions: We conclude that b. choosing the properties of an elastomeric pump, the toxicity b.mp can b. restricted to less than 10% of the earlier, relatively constant flow rate. Our model also produces a relation b.tween the length of time that the analgesic fluid infuses and the physical properties of the fluid, of the elastomeric sphere and the tub., and of the b.ood vessel into which the analgesic infuses. Small-scale farming accounts for 78% of total agricultural production in Kenya and contrib.tes to 23.5% of the country’s GDP. Their crop production activities are mostly rainfed sub.istence with any surplus b.ing sold to b.ing in some income. Timely decisions on farm practices such as farm preparation and planting are critical determinants of the seasonal outcomes. In Kenya, most small-scale farmers have no reliab.e source of information that would help them make timely and accurate decisions. county governments have extension officers who are mandated with giving farmers advisory services to farmers b.t they are not ab.e to reach most farmers due to facilitation constraints. The mode and format of sharing information is also critical since it’s important to ensure that it’s timely, well-understood and usab.e. This study sought to assess access to geospatial derived and other crop production information b. farmers in four selected counties of Kenya. Specific ob.ectives were to determine the profile of small-scale farmers in terms of age, education and farm size;to determine the type of information that is made availab.e to them b. county and Sub.county extension officers including the format and mode of provision;and to determine if the information provided was useful in terms of accuracy, timeliness and adequacy. The results indicated that over 80% of the farmers were over 35 years of age and over 56% were male. Majority had attained primary education (34%) or secondary education (29%) and most farmers in all the counties grew maize (71%). Notab.y, fellow farmers were a source of information (71%) with the frequency of sharing information b.ing mostly seasonal (37%) and when information was availab.e (43%). Over 66% of interviewed farmers indicating that they faced challenges while using provided information. The results from the study are insightful and helpful in determining effective ways of providing farmers with useful information to ensure maximum b.nefits.

We investigated ^(50,52-54)cr-induced fusion reactions for the synthesis of the superheavy element in the 104≤Z≤122 *** cross sections produced in this investigation using ^(54)cr projectiles were compared with those ob.ained in prior *** estimated cross sections from this analysis are consistent with the findings of prior *** the current study,the predicted cross section was found to b. 42fb.at 236 MeV for ^(53)cr+^(243)Am,23.2 fb.at 236 MeV for ^(54)cr+^(247)cm,95.6 fb.at 240 MeV for ^(53)cr+248b.,and 1.33 fb.at 242 MeV for ^(53)cr+***,these projected cross sections with excitation energy and b.am energy will b. useful in future cr-induced fusion reaction investigations.
