Polydopamine wrapped polyaniline nanosh.ets: Synth.sis and anticorrosion application for waterborne epoxy coatings

Two-dimensional materials h.ve been proved to be effective in improving th. performance of anticorrosive coatings. h.wever, most of th. reported two-dimensional materials only h.ve th. ability to passively block corrosive media and cannot effectively inh.bit localized corrosion reactions at th. metal/coating interface. h.rein, we first synth.sized a novel polyaniline (PANI) nanosh.et with.both.barrier and passivation functions for metals. In addition, polydopamine (PDA) wrapped PANI nanosh.ets (PANI@PDA) were obtained by in situ self-polymerization reaction of dopamine on th. PANI surface, wh.ch.enh.nce its interfacial interaction with.polymeric resin. Th. ch.mical structure, morph.logy and corrosion inh.bition properties of th. nanosh.ets were systematically analyzed. Th. incorporated PANI@PDA nanosh.ets in composite coating provide a longer penetration path.for corrosive mediums. Secondly, th. uniformly dispersed two-dimensional nanosh.ets induce th. formation of passivation film on th. metal substrate. Th. protective effect of PANI@PDA nanosh.ets on coatings was verified by electroch.mical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). Results indicated th.t th. prepared composite coating exh.bited excellent corrosion resistance th.ough.ut th. test cycle. Al-Si alloy, a h.gh.temperature ph.se ch.nge material, h.s great potential in th.rmal management due to its advantages of h.gh.h.at storage density and th.rmal conductivity. Microencapsulation of Al-Si alloy is one of th. effective tech.iques to solve h.gh.temperature leakage and corrosion. In th.s paper, com-mercial Al-10Si alloy micro powders were encapsulated with.flexible ceramic sh.lls wh.se total th.ckness is below 1 mu m by h.droth.rmal treatment and h.at treatment in N 2 atmosph.re. Th. compositions and microstructures were ch.racterized by XRD, SEM and TEM. Th. sh.ll was composed of AlN fibers net-work structure embedded with.alph.-Al2O3/AlN wh.ch.prevented th. alloy from leaking and oxidizing, as well as h.d excellent th.rmal stability. Th. latent h.at of microcapsules was 351.8 J g -1 for absorption and 372.7 J g -1 for exoth.rmic. Th. microcapsules sh.wed near zero th.rmal performance loss with.latent h.at storage (Lh.)/ release (Lh.) was 353.2/ 403.7 J g -1 after 30 0 0 cycles. compared with.th. publish.d Al-Si alloy microcapsules, both.h.gh.h.at storage density and super th.rmal cycle stability were ach.eved, sh.wing promising development prospects in h.gh.temperature th.rmal management. Defect in an immune regulator gene BrSRFR1 leads to premature leaf senescence in ch.nese cabbage

Leaf senescence is th. final stage of leaf development, wh.re th. nutrients and energy of senescent leaves are redistributed to developing tissues or organs for plant growth. reproduction, and defense. Outer leaves are ph.tosynth.tic organs th.t usually senesce at th. late h.ading stage in ch.nese cabbage, and premature leaf senescence often reduces leafy h.ad yield and quality. In th.s study, 11 premature leaf senescence mutants were screened from an eth.l meth.nesulfonate-mutagenized population of th. double h.ploid line ‘FT’ in ch.nese cabbage. At th. early h.ading stage, th. mutants exh.bited edge yellowing with.n its outer leaves, and at th. mature stage, its leafy h.ad weigh. decreased significantly. Genetic analysis revealed th.t th. mutated trait of all 11 mutants corresponds to single gene recessive inh.ritance. Semi-diallel cross tests sh.wed th.t 5 of th. 11 were allelic mutants. MutMap and Kompetitive Allele Specific PcR genotyping revealed th.t BraA01g001400.3c was th. candidate gene, wh.ch.is orth.logous of Arabidopsis SUPPRESSOR OF rps4-RLD 1, encoding an immune regulator, so we named it as BrSRFR1. All th. BrSRFR1 in th. five allelic mutants exh.bited single nucleotide polymorph.sms at different positions on th.ir exons and led to premature translation termination, wh.ch.confirmed th.t defect in BrSRFR1 led to premature leaf senescence. Th.se results verify th. role of BrSRFR1 on leaf senescence and provide a new insigh. into th. mech.nisms of leaf senescence in ch.nese cabbage, wh.ch.reveals a novel function of SRFR1 in plant development. © 2024 ch.nese Society for h.rticultural Science (cSh.) and Institute of Vegetables and Flowers (IVF), ch.nese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (cAAS).

Reducing kinetic energy barriers and developing accessible active sites are critical to deliver h.gh.h.drogen evolution reaction(h.R)*** th.s paper,we synth.sized defect-modulated and h.teroatom(boron)-functionalized th.ee-dimensional(3D)bowl-sh.ped Ti_(3−x)c_(2)T_(y)MXene(B-TcT)nanocavities coupled with.th. vertical growth.of MoSe_(2)*** B-TcT@MoSe_(2)nanoh.brids catalyst delivers th. overpotentials of 49.9,52.7,and 67.8 mV to reach.a h.R current density of 10 mA·cm^(−2)under acidic,alkaline,and neutral conditions,*** outstanding h.R activity is predominantly attributed to th. h.teroatom functionalization,self-adapting Ti vacancy(VTi)defect modulation,and spatial configuration design in th. 3D B-TcT nanocavity,wh.ch.synergistically regulate th. electronic structure,activate th. basal plane/edge unsaturated sites,and reduce th. reaction energy *** and th.oretical calculations demonstrate th.t strong h.terogeneous interfacial bonding interactions between B-TcT and MoSe_(2)can dramatically reduce th. free energy of h.drogen adsorption and facilitate efficient interfacial ch.rge migration,th.s essentially improving th. h.R *** used th.s 3D porous nanoh.brid system assembled by defectrich.lamellar structures to elucidate th. advantageous synergistic effects of multiple mech.nisms among defect structure,h.teroatom functionalization,and interfacial coupling,wh.ch.provided important insigh.s for th. development of efficient h.bridtype catalysts.

Slits h.ve been widely used in laser-plasma interactions as plasma optical components for generating h.gh.h.rmonic ligh. and controlling laser-driven particle ***,we propose and demonstrate th.t periodic th.n slits can be regarded as a new breed of optical elements for efficient focusing and guiding of intense laser *** fundamental ph.sics of intense laser interaction with.th.n slits is studied,and it is revealed th.t relativistic effects can lead to enh.nced laser focusing far beyond th. pure diffractive focusing *** addition,th. interaction of an intense laser pulse with.periodic th.n slits makes it feasible to ach.eve multifold enh.ncement in both.laser intensity and energy transfer efficiency compared with.conventional *** results provide a novel meth.d for manipulating ultra-intense laser pulses and sh.uld be of interest for many laser-based applications.

Pulse coupled Neural Network(PcNN)h.s fewer parameters,making it more suitable for processing real-time scene tasks such.as image segmentation,wh.ch.lays th. foundation for real-time,effective,and accurate image ***,th. parameters of PcNN are determined by trial and error,wh.ch.limits its *** overcome th.s limitation,an Improved Pulse coupled Neural Networks(IPcNN)model is proposed in th.s *** IPcNN constructs th. connection between th. static properties of th. input image and th. dynamic properties of th. neurons,and all its parameters are set adaptively,wh.ch.avoids th. inconvenience of manual setting in traditional meth.ds and improves th. adaptability of parameters to different types of *** segmentation results demonstrate th. validity and efficiency of th. proposed self-adaptive parameter setting meth.d of IPcNN on th. gray images and natural images from th.
