Astrophysical s-factor and reaction rate for 15N(p,γ)16O within the modified potential cluster model

We study radiative p^(15)N capture on the ground state of ^(16)O at stellar energies within the framework of a modified potential cluster model(MPcM)with forbidden states,including low-lying *** investigation of the ^(15)N(p,γ0)^(16)O reaction includes the consideration of ^(3)s_(1) resonances due to E1 transitions and the contribution of the ^(3)P_(1) scattering wave in the p+^(15)N channel due to the ^(3)P_(1)→^(3)P_(0)M1 *** calculated the astrophysical low-energy s-factor,and the extrapolated s(0)turned out to be within 34.7−40.4 keV·*** important role of the asymptotic constant(Ac)for the ^(15)N(p,γ0)16O process with interfering ^(3)s_(1)(312)and ^(3)s_(1)(962)resonances is elucidated.A comparison of our calculation for the s-factor with existing experimental and theoretical data is addressed,and a reasonable agreement is *** reaction rate is calculated and compared with the existing *** has negligible dependence on the variation of Ac but shows a strong impact of the interference of ^(3)s_(1)(312)and ^(3)s_(1)(962)resonances in reference to the cNO Gamow windows,especially at low *** estimate the contribution of cascade transitions to the reaction rate based on the exclusive experimental data from ***.c.85,065810(2012).The reaction rate enhancement due to the cascade transitions is observed from T_(9)>0.3 and reaches the maximum factor~1.3 at T_(9)=*** present the Gamow energy window and a comparison of rates for radiative proton capture reactions ^(12)N(p,γ)^(13)O,^(13)N(p,γ)^(14)O,^(14)N(p,γ)^(15)O,and ^(15)N(p,γ)^(16)O obtained in the framework of the MPcM and provide the temperature windows,prevalence,and significance of each process.

Progress in the studies of chirality in atomic nuclei at iThemba LABs is *** regions of chirality,around mass 80 and 190 have been discovered using the AFrODITE array,specifically in the nuclei^(74)As,^(78,80,82)Br,^(81)Kr,and^(193,194,198)*** phenomena have been observed,including multiple chiral bands in the same nucleus,the coexistence of octupole correlations and nuclear chirality,and the coexistence of pseudo spin and nuclear *** best example of chiral degeneracy to date was found in ^(194)*** level scheme of ^(106)Ag has been revisited and interpreted in terms of two-and four-quasiparticle *** using the particle-rotor model have shown that the fingerprints of chirality in the two-quasiparticle system only can occur in an idealised model *** systems with a higher number of quasiparticles,the calculations showed that nuclear chirality can persist.

We investigated ^(50,52-54)cr-induced fusion reactions for the synthesis of the superheavy element in the 104≤Z≤122 *** cross sections produced in this investigation using ^(54)cr projectiles were compared with those obtained in prior *** estimated cross sections from this analysis are consistent with the findings of prior *** the current study,the predicted cross section was found to be 42fb at 236 MeV for ^(53)cr+^(243)Am,23.2 fb at 236 MeV for ^(54)cr+^(247)cm,95.6 fb at 240 MeV for ^(53)cr+248Bk,and 1.33 fb at 242 MeV for ^(53)cr+***,these projected cross sections with excitation energy and beam energy will be useful in future cr-induced fusion reaction investigations.

FEA-based Geometrical Modification of switched reluctance Motor for radial Force reduction

switched reluctance motors(srMs)are becoming increasingly popular in the automotive sector owing to their robust ***,srMs are preferred particularly for EV applications owing to their fault tolerance,magnet-free structure,and high power/torque *** main concerns of srM compared to other machines include torque ripple and *** primary cause of vibration is the radial force created by the srM.A geometry-based modification of the srM to reduce the radial force without significantly changing the average torque produced is *** primary goal is to design a 4-phase,8/6 srM with a lower radial *** possible geometrical alterations are proposed:one with square windows and the other with circular holes on the rotor *** windows are sized and positioned to avoid flux *** criteria are developed for the optimal window size and *** element analysis(FEA)modelling of the srM is used to validate its *** FEA results are compared with the performance parameters obtained using the analytical *** the multiphysics design tool ANsYs to obtain the natural frequencies and associated deformations through modal *** to the conventional geometry,the radial force is significantly reduced by providing windows.

Prediction and control of cholera outbreak:study case of

This paper deals with the problem of the prediction and control of cholera outbreak using real data of *** first develop and analyze a deterministic model with seasonality for the cholera,the novelty of which lies in the incorporation of undetected *** present the basic properties of the model and compute two explicit threshold parametersr_(0)and r_(0).that bound the effective reproduction number,from below and above,that is r_(0)≤r_(0)≤r_(0).We prove that cholera tends to disappear whenr_(0)≤1,while when r_(0)>1,cholera persists uniformly within the ***,assuming that the cholera transmission rates and the proportions of newly symptomatic are unknown,we develop the EnKf approach to estimate unmeasurable state variables and these unknown parameters using real data of cholera from 2014 to 2022 in *** use this result to estimate the upper and lower bound of the effective reproduction number and reconstructed active asymptomatic and symptomatic cholera cases in cameroon,and give a short-term forecasts of cholera in cameroon until *** simulations show that(i)the transmission rate from free Vibrio cholerae in the environment is more important than the human transmission and begin to be high few week after May and in October,(ii)90%of newly cholera infected cases that present the symptoms of cholera are not diagnosed and(iii)60.36%of asymptomatic are detected at 14%and 86%of them recover *** future trends reveals that an outbreak appeared from July to November 2023 with the number of cases reported monthly peaked in October *** impulsive control strategy is incorporated in the model with the aim to avoid or prevent the cholera *** the first year of monitoring,we observed a reduction of more than 75%of incidences and the disappearance of the peaks when no control are available in cameroon.A second monitoring of control led to a further reduction of around 60%of incidences the following year,showing how

In recent years,there has been a significant surge in demand for electric vehicles(EVs),necessitating accurate prediction of EV charging *** prediction plays a crucial role in evaluating its impact on the power grid,encompassing power management and peak demand *** this paper,a novel deep neural network based onα^(2)-LsTM is proposed to predict the demand for charging from electric vehicles at a 15-minute time ***,we employ AEs-128 for station quantization and secure communication with *** proposed algorithm achieves a 9.2%reduction in both the root Mean square Error(rMsE)and the mean absolute error compared to LsTM,along with a 13.01%increase in demand *** present a 12-month prediction of EV charging demand at charging stations,accompanied by an effective comparative analysis of Mean Absolute Percentage Error(MAPE)and Mean Percentage Error(MPE)over the last five years using our proposed *** prediction analysis has been conducted using Python programming.

Geochemistry and depositional environment of fuchsite quartzites from sargur Group,western Dharwar craton,India

Meso-Neoarchean fuchsite quartzites are present in different stratigraphic positions of Dharwar craton including the oldest(~3.3 Ga)sargur Group of western Dharwar *** present study deals with the petro-graphic and geochemical characteristics of the fuchsite quartzites from the Ghattihosahalli belt to evaluate their genesis,depositional setting and the enigma involved in the ancient sedimentation *** major mineral assemblages include quartz,fuchsite,and feldspars along with accessory kyanite and *** geochemical com-positions are characterized by high siO_(2),Al_(2)O_(3),low MgO,caO,strongly enriched cr(1326–6899 ppm),Ba(1165–3653 ppm),sr(46–210 ppm),V(107–868 ppm)and Zn(11–158 ppm)contents compared to the upper continental crust(Ucc).The Ucc normalized rare earth element(rEE)patterns are characterized by depleted light rEE[(La/sm)Ucc=0.33–0.95]compared to heavy rEE[(Gd/Yb)_(Ucc)=0.42–1.65]with conspicuous positive Eu-anomalies(Eu/Eu^(*)=1.35–18.27)characteristic of hydrothermal solutions evidenced through the interlayered *** overall major and trace element systematics reflect a combined mafic-felsic provenance and suggest their deposition at a passive continental margin *** comprehensivefield,petrographic,and geo-chemical studies indicate that these quartzites are infiltrated by cr-richfluids released during high-grade metamorphism of associated ultramafic *** sargur and the subse-quent Dharwar orogeny amalgamated diverse lithounits from different tectonic settings,possibly leading to the release of cr-richfluids and the formation of fuchsite quartzite during or after the *** sug-gest a pre-existing stable crust prior to the sargur Group and the link between orogenic events and various mineral deposits in the Dharwar craton.

The hazardous environmental effects of greenhouse gas emissions and climate change demand alternative sources for cementitious materials in the construction *** development of geopolymer structures provides a way of producing 100%cement-free *** this research work,a novel and simple way of deriving nano particles from waste fly ash particles is *** effect of adding the synthesized nano fly ash particles as a filler medium in geopolymer mortars was investigated by considering strength and durability *** optimization was done by using regression analysis on the geopolymer mortar and the impact of adding nano fly ash particles was studied by varying different percentages of addition ranging from 0 to 7.5%by weight of binder *** the results,it was observed that 1%nano fly ash acted not only as a filler but also as nano-sized precursors of the polymerization process,resulting in denser geopolymer *** can explain the extraordinary gain in strength of 72.11 MPa as well as the denser core with negligible level of chloride ion penetration,making the material suitable for the development of structures susceptible to marine environment.

The heat transfer through a concave permeable fin is analyzed by the local thermal non-equilibrium(LTNE)*** governing dimensional temperature equations for the solid and fluid phases of the porous extended surface are modeled,and then are nondimensionalized by suitable dimensionless ***,the obtained nondimensional equations are solved by the clique polynomial method(cPM).The effects of several dimensionless parameters on the fin's thermal profiles are shown by graphical ***,the current study implements deep neural structures to solve physics-governed coupled equations,and the best-suited hyperparameters are attained by comparison with various network *** results of the cPM and physicsinformed neural network(PINN)exhibit good agreement,signifying that both methods effectively solve the thermal modeling problem.
