Reduction effect of final-pass heavy reduction rolling on the texture development,tensile property and stretch formability of ZWK100 alloy plates

Obviously planar anisotropy due to‘TD split’orthotropic texture(TD indicates Transverse direction)always exist in the Rare-earth(RE)or ca containing Mg alloy sheets,which is likely caused by the lowreduction rolling(and annealing)as revealed in our previous *** this work,the as-cast billets of a ZWK100 alloy were subjected to final-pass heavy reduction rolling(FHRR)at 500°c with different reductions(30%-70%)after rough rolling,aiming to investigate the reduction effect on the microstructure and texture *** results show that FHRR with higher reductions above 50%is in favor of shear banding formation but has little effect on the as-deformed texture components,and the excellent formability with single-pass reduction up to 70%is mainly ascribed to the activation of prismatic *** with reduction above 50%and annealing can generate uniform grain structures of~10μm and symmetrical‘oblique-line split’texture in(0001)pole figures,with basal poles tilting by about 50°from ND(Normal direction)towards some oblique-line of TD and RD(Rolling direction)as well as uniform distribution of counter lines as an annular shape,resulting in excellent elongation to failure of~50%and ultra-low planar anisotropyΔr_of~0.1 and high stretch formability(Erichsen value:8.1).The formation‘oblique-line split’texture in(0001)pole figures is mainly correlated with the preferred growth tendency of grains with■//RD,which was suggested to relate to the high mobility of some special boundaries such as 40°-45°■.The influences of starting textures on the mechanical properties,planar anisotropy and related deformation modes,as well as their correlations with the stretch formability were comparatively investigated with the‘TD split’orthotropic texture as a counterpoint.

Through investigating and comparing the microstructure and mechanical properties of the as-extruded Mg alloys Mg-4%li and Mg-4%li-6%Zn-l.2%Y （in wt%）, it demonstrates that although the formation of I-phase （Mg3Zn6Y, icosahedral structure） could weaken the crystallographic texture and improve the me- chanical strength, the mechanical anisotropy in terms of strength remains in Mg-4%li-6%Zn-1.2%Y alloy. Failure analysis indicates that for the Mg-4%li alloy, the fracture surfaces of the tensile samples tested along transverse direction （TD） contain a large number of plastic dimples, whereas the fracture surface exhibits quasi-cleavage characteristic when tensile samples were tested along extrusion direction （ED）. For the Mg-4%li-6%Zn-I.2%Y alloy, typical ductile fracture surfaces can be observed in both ＂TD＂ and ＂ED＂ samples. Moreover, due to the zonal distribution of broken l-phase particles, the fracture surface of ＂TD＂ samples is characterized by the typical ＂woody fracture＂.

Microstructural evolution and Portevin-Le chatelier（PLc） phenomenon of the as-extruded Mg-4%li-6%Zn-1.2%Y alloy before and after heat treatment have been *** has been demonstrated that for the as-extruded and solid solution treated（T4） samples,the PLc phenomenon could be obviously observed on tensile stress-strain ***,the PLc phenomenon in T4 samples was more salient than that in the as-extruded condition,suggesting that the occurrence of PLc phenomenon was closely related to the super-saturation degree of solute atoms in the *** most of solute atoms were consumed for the formation of Mg Zn precipitates（β1′ and a little of β2′） during the subsequent ageing treatment（T6）,the PLc phenomenon of T6 samples was ***,due to the pinning effect of the formed Mg Zn precipitates on mobile dislocations,the tensile strength of T6 samples was relatively higher than those of the other two conditions.

The serrated phenomena of the quasicrystalline phase reinforced Mg-4%li-6%Zn-1.2%Y alloy after the extrusion,solid solution treatment and aged treatment have been investigated at different *** result shows that when the temperature is above 100℃,the serrated phenomenon becomes weak and all the serrated amplitudes are lower than 1 *** them,the serrated amplitude of samples in aged condition is the lowest and the value is only 0.1-0.2 *** underneath mechanism for the lower plastic instability at higher temperature(≥100℃)can be ascribed to the weak pining effect of solute atoms on the movement of dislocation and release of the pile-up dislocations.

Understanding the mechanical properties of the lithologies is crucial to accurately determine the horizontal stress *** investigate the correlation between the rock mass properties and maximum horizontal stress,the three-dimensional(3D)stress tensors at 89 measuring points determined using an improved overcoring technique in nine mines in china were adopted,a newly defined characteristic parameter c_(ERP)was proposed as an indicator for evaluating the structural properties of rock masses,and a fuzzy relation matrix was established using the information distribution *** results indicate that both the vertical stress and horizontal stress exhibit a good linear growth relationship with *** is no remarkable correlation between the elastic modulus,Poisson's ratio and depth,and the distribution of data points is scattered and ***,there is no obvious relationship between the rock quality designation(RqD)and *** maximum horizontal stress σ_(H) is a function of rock properties,showing a certain linear relationship with the c_(ERP)at the same *** addition,the overall change trend of σ_(H) determined by the established fuzzy identification method is to increase with the increase of c_(ERP).The fuzzy identification method also demonstrates a relatively detailed local relationship betweenσ_H and c_(ERP),and the predicted curve rises in a fluctuating way,which is in accord well with the measured stress data.

Joint Feature Encoding and Task Alignment Mechanism for Emotion-cause Pair Extraction

With the rapid expansion of social media,analyzing emotions and their causes in texts has gained significant ***-cause pair extraction enables the identification of causal relationships between emotions and their triggers within a text,facilitating a deeper understanding of expressed sentiments and their underlying *** comprehension is crucial for making informed strategic decisions in various business and societal ***,recent research approaches employing multi-task learning frameworks for modeling often face challenges such as the inability to simultaneouslymodel extracted features and their interactions,or inconsistencies in label prediction between emotion-cause pair extraction and independent assistant tasks like emotion and cause *** address these issues,this study proposes an emotion-cause pair extraction methodology that incorporates joint feature encoding and task alignment *** model consists of two primary components:First,joint feature encoding simultaneously generates features for emotion-cause pairs and clauses,enhancing feature interactions between emotion clauses,cause clauses,and emotion-cause ***,the task alignment technique is applied to reduce the labeling distance between emotion-cause pair extraction and the two assistant tasks,capturing deep semantic information interactions among *** proposed method is evaluated on a chinese benchmark corpus using 10-fold cross-validation,assessing key performance metrics such as precision,recall,and F1 *** results demonstrate that the model achieves an F1 score of 76.05%,surpassing the state-of-the-art by 1.03%.The proposed model exhibits significant improvements in emotion-cause pair extraction(EcPE)and cause extraction(cE)compared to existing methods,validating its *** research introduces a novel approach based on joint feature encoding and task alignment mechanisms,contributing to advancements in emotion-c

Diffusion behavior at void tip and its contributions to void shrinkage during solid-state bonding

Solid-state diffusion bonding is an advanced joining technique, which has been widely used to join similar or dissimilar materials. Generally, it is easy to observe the diffusion behavior during dissimilar bonding, but for similar bonding the diffusion behavior has yet been observed via experiments. In this study, the diffusion behavior at void tip was firstly observed during similar bonding of stainless steel. Scanning electron microscopy with energy dispersive spectroscopy was used to examine the interface charac- teristic and diffusion behavior. The results showed that a diffusion region was discovered at void tip. Element concentrations of diffusion region were more than those of void region, but less than those of bonded region. This behavior indicated that the diffusion was ongoing at void tip, but the perfect bond has yet formed. The diffusion region was attributed to the interface diffusion from adjacent region to void tip due to the stress gradient along bonding interface. The mass accumulation at void tip transformed the sharp void tip into smooth one at the beginning of void shrinkage, and then resulted in shorter voids.

Developing advanced stealth devices to cope with radar-infrared(IR)fusion detection and diverse application scenarios is increasingly demanded,which faces significant challenges due to conflicting microwave and IR cloaking mechanisms and functional integration ***,we propose a multiscale hierarchical structure design,integrating wrinkled MXene IR shielding layer and flexible Fe_(3)O_(4)@c/PDMS microwave absorption *** top wrinkled MXene layer induces the intensive diffuse reflection effect,shielding IR radiation signals while allowing microwave to pass ***,the permeable microwaves are assimilated into the bottom Fe_(3)O_(4)@c/PDMS layer via strong magneto-electric *** theoretical and experimental optimization,the assembled stealth devices realize a near-perfect stealth capability in both X-band(8–12 GHz)and long-wave infrared(8–14μm)wavelength ***,it delivers a radar cross-section reduction of−20 dB m^(2),a large apparent temperature modulation range(ΔT=70℃),and a low average IR emissivity of ***,the optimal device demonstrates exceptional curved surface conformability,self-cleaning capability(contact angle≈129°),and abrasion resistance(recovery time≈5 s).This design strategy promotes the development of multispectral stealth technology and reinforces its applicability and durability in complex and hostile environments.
