Hearing loss is the third leading cause of human ***-related hearing loss,one type of acquired sensorineural hearing loss,is largely responsible for this escalating global health ***-induced,ototoxic,and idiopathic sudden sensorineural are other less common types of acquired hearing *** etiology of these conditions is complex and multi-fa ctorial involving an interplay of genetic and environmental *** stress has recently been proposed as a likely linking cause in most types of acquired sensorineural hearing *** non-coding RNA sequences known as microRNAs(miRNAs)have increasingly been shown to play a role in cellular hypoxia and oxidative stress responses including promoting an apoptotic *** hair cell death is a central histopathological finding in sensorineural hearing *** these cells do not regenerate in humans,it underlies the irreversibility of human age-related hearing *** EMBASE,Ovid MEDLINE,Web of Science core collection,and *** databases over the period August 1,2018 to July 31,2023 were searched with"hearing loss,""hypoxamiRs,""hypoxia,""microRNAs,""ischemia,"and"oxidative stress"text words for English language primary study publications or registered clinical *** red clinical trials known to the senior author we re also assessed.A total of 222studies were thus *** excluding duplicates,editorials,retra ctions,secondary research studies,and non-English language articles,39 primary studies and clinical trials underwent full-text *** resulted in 11 animal,in vitro,and/or human subject journal articles and 8 registered clinical trial database entries which form the basis of this narrative *** miR-34a and miR-29b levels increase with age in *** miRNAs were demonstrated in human neuroblastoma and murine cochlear cell lines to target Sirtuin 1/peroxisome proliferato r-activated receptor gamma coactivator-1-alpha(SIRT1/p Gc-1α),SIRT

Titanium/Gold （Ti/Au） metals have been widely employed as ohmic metal contacts on n+Ga2O3,exhibiting the specific contact resistance （ρc） of 10-5-10-6Ω·cm2[1].But previous studies have revealed the presence of a defective Ga2O3layer and reactive Ti-Ga2O3layer at the annealed Ti/*** an interfacial layer can afect the performance of ohmic contact,which may become more pronounced in power devices subjected to electrical stress and high-frequency ***,there have been no reports on the impact of bias stress effects and dynamic degradation of Ti/Au ohmic contacts on n+Ga2O3.

Skeletal muscle plays a significant role in both local and systemic energy metabolism. The current investigation aims to explore the role of the Bambi gene in skeletal muscle, focusing on its implications for muscle hypertrophy and systemic metabolism. We hypothesize that skeletal muscle-specific deletion of Bambi induces muscle hypertrophy, improves metabolic performance, and activates thermogenic adipocytes via the reprogramming of progenitor of i WAT, offering potential therapeutic strategies for metabolic syndromes. Leveraging the chromatin immunoprecipitation(chIp)-seq and bioinformatics analysis, Bambi gene is shown to be a direct target of HIF2α, which is further confirmed by chIp-qpcR and promoter luciferase assay. Skeletal muscle-specific Bambi deletion led to significant muscle hypertrophy and improved metabolic parameters, even under high-fat diet conditions. This deletion induced metabolic reprogramming of stromal vascular fractions(SVFs) into thermogenic adipocytes, contributing to systemic metabolic improvements, potentially through the secretory ***, mice with skeletal muscle-specific Bambi deletion demonstrate resistance to high-fat diet-induced metabolic disorders, highlighting a potential therapeutic pathway for metabolic syndrome management. Thus, skeletal muscle-specific deletion of Bambi triggers muscle growth, enhances metabolic performance, and activates thermogenic adipocytes. These findings suggest Bambi as a novel therapeutic target for metabolic syndromes, providing new insights into the interaction between muscle hypertrophy and systemic metabolic improvement. The study underscores the potential of manipulating muscle physiology to regulate whole-body metabolism, offering a novel perspective on treating metabolic disorders.

Organic solar cells(OScs) hold great potential as a photovoltaic technology for practical ***, the traditional experimental trial-and-error method for designing and engineering OScs can be complex, expensive, and time-consuming. Machine learning(ML) techniques enable the proficient extraction of information from datasets, allowing the development of realistic models that are capable of predicting the efficacy of materials with commendable accuracy. The pM6 donor has great potential for high-performance OScs. However, it is crucial for the rational design of a ternary blend to accurately forecast the power conversion efficiency(pcE) of ternary OScs(TOScs) based on a pM6 ***, we collected the device parameters of pM6-based TOScs and evaluated the feature importance of their molecule descriptors to develop predictive models. In this study, we used five different ML algorithms for analysis and prediction. For the analysis, the classification and regression tree provided different rules, heuristics, and patterns from the heterogeneous dataset. The random forest algorithm outperforms other prediction ML algorithms in predicting the output performance of pM6-based TOScs. Finally, we validated the ML outcomes by fabricating pM6-based TOScs. our study presents a rapid strategy for assessing a high pcE while elucidating the substantial influence of diverse descriptors.

The Solar X-ray Detector(SXD) on-board the Macao Science Satellite-1B(MSS-1B) was successfully launched via the chinese Long March-2c rocket on 21 May 2023, and commenced operations in early June of the same year. The MSS-1B/Soft X-ray Detection Units(SXDUs) employ two silicon drift detectors(SDDs), providing a wide range of energy spectra spanning from 0.7 to 24 keV. Notably, the SXDUs deliver a high-resolution capability of 0.14 keV@5.9 keV and operate with a time cadence of 1 second. Here, we perform thorough calibrations of the MSS-1B/SXDUs, employing a combination of ground experiments and simulations. In addition, quantitative analysis comparing the flux measurements obtained by the MSS-1B/SXDUs to the data collected by the Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite(GOES), provides compelling evidence of their consistency. Furthermore, the preliminary spectral analysis results showcase the robustness and expected performance of the MSS-1B/SXDUs, unlocking their potential for facilitating the study of dynamic evolution of solar flares. Moreover, the innovative MSS-1B/Solar X-ray Detector facilitates concurrent observations of solar soft and hard X-rays, thereby making valuable contributions to the advancements in solar research.

Using agent development tools to construct an agent-based system is a well applied approach. However, the development tools usually do not have the function to check the feasibility about the workflow of the agent system during it implementation stage. Therefore, to develop an evaluation approach to analyze the feasibility of a developing agent system such that the improper workflow of an agent system can be found in the early design stage is a necessary task to reduce the risk of implementation. In this research, a petri Net （pN） based three-stage evaluation approach was developed. In the conceptual stage, the pitfall of the current agent system developing process was examined and an improvement analysis process was specified. Then, in the system design stage, an evaluation approach which extracted the process log file from a developing agent system into a pN model in terms of a process mining approach-or algorithm was proposed. This model was simulated in a pN simulation package. The agent system performance was evaluated in terms of analyzing the deadlock phenomena of the pN model. Finally, in the implementation stage, the proposed concept was implemented by using an agent developing tool JADE and a pN simulation tool cpN. An agent-based robotic assembly system was used to examine the possible deadlock of the agent system.
