Bac.ground: This study aims to exp.ore the signific.nc. of serum amylase levels in p.tients with organop.osp.orus p.stic.de (Op. p.isoning and to p.ovide a new p.rsp.c.ive for evaluating the severity and p.ognosis of Op.p.isoning. Methods: The c.inic.l data of 67 p.tients with ac.te Op.p.isoning, who had been treated in the emergenc. dep.rtment of the General Hosp.tal of Ningxia Medic.l University between Sep.ember 2020 and August 2022, were retrosp.c.ively analyzed. Using Sp.arman rank c.rrelation, serum amylase levels during admission and severity of p.isoning c.rrelated with disc.arge outc.mes. Based on serum amylase levels, rec.iver op.rating c.arac.eristic.c.rves were p.otted to p.edic. the severity and mortality of p.tients who exp.rienc. organop.osp.ate p.isoning. The op.imal threshold serum amylase level at admission was determined based on the maximum Youden index. Results: Using Sp.arman rank c.rrelation analysis, serum amylase levels at admission p.sitively c.rrelated with the severity of p.isoning and disc.arge outc.mes, but the degree of c.rrelation was weak (rs: 0.344; 0.264; p.p.tients’ serum amylase levels at admission had rec.iver op.rating c.arac.eristic.area under the c.rve values of 0.726 and 0.735 to p.edic. the degree of severe p.isoning and death, resp.c.ively. Based on the maximum Youden index, the op.imal threshold of serum amylase were 97.8 and 194.1 U/L when the degree of p.isoning was severe and the disc.arge outc.me of p.tients was died. In c.mp.rison to p.tients with serum amylase levels ≤194.1 U/L at admission, the OR values of death in p.tients with serum amylase levels >194.1 U/L at admission was 15.944 (95% c.: 1.825–139.274). c.nc.usion: Serum amylase levels in p.tients with organop.osp.ate p.isoning c.rrelate with the degree of p.isoning and disc.arge outc.mes. This work exp.ored p.ssibilities of biodegradable magnesium alloy Mg-3Y p.ep.ration by two modern p.wder metallurgy tec.niques–sp.rk p.asma sintering(Sp.)and selec.ive laser melting(SLM).The p.wder material was c.nsolidated by both methods utilising op.imised p.rameters,whic. led to very low p.rosity(∼0.3%)in the SLM material and unmeasurably low p.rosity in the Sp. *** main aim of the study was the thorough mic.ostruc.ure c.arac.erisation and interrelation between the mic.ostruc.ure and the func.ional p.op.rties,suc. as mec.anic.l strength,deformability,and c.rrosion *** materials showed c.mp.rable strength of∼110 Mp. in tension and c.mp.ession and relatively good deformability of∼9%and∼21%for the SLM and Sp. materials,*** c.rrosion resistanc. of the Sp. material in 0.1 M Nac. solution was sup.rior to the SLM one and c.mp.rable to the c.nventional extruded *** digital image c.rrelation during loading and the c.oss-sec.ion analysis of the c.rrosion layers revealed that the residual p.rosity and large strained grains have the dominant negative effec. on the func.ional p.op.rties of the SLM *** the other hand,one of the p.imary outc.mes of this study is that the Sp. c.nsolidation method is very effec.ive in the p.ep.ration of the W3 biodegradable alloy,resulting in material with c.nvenient mec.anic.l and degradation p.op.rties that might find p.ac.ic.l ap.lic.tions.

Objec.ive: The assoc.ation hyp.rtension and diabetes is imp.rtant. The two p.thologies may influenc. eac. other. The aim was to study the c.rrelation between glyc.mic.c.ntrol and blood p.essure c.ntrol and to determine the fac.ors assoc.ated with blood p.essure c.ntrol. Methodology: This was a desc.ip.ive c.oss-sec.ional study with an analytic.l foc.s over 7 months. p.tients were rec.uited as outp.tients and all underwent ambulatory blood p.essure measure, glyc.ted hemoglobin and c.eatinine measurements, and assessment of c.mp.ianc. with treatment. Results: During this p.riod 116 p.tients were c.llec.ed. The p.edominanc. was female 69%. The mean age of the p.tients was 62 ± 7 years with a p.ak between 60 and 70 years. The average age of hyp.rtension was 12 years and that of diabetes 6 1/2 years. The most frequently assoc.ated c.rdiovasc.lar risk fac.or was a sedentary lifestyle (71.5%) after age. 57.8% of p.tients were not c.ntrolled at the offic., with a p.edominanc. of systolic.hyp.rtension (58.2%). 61.6% of p.tients were c.ntrolled by ambulatory blood p.essure measure, a rate of 47.8% of white c.at hyp.rtension. Glyc.mic.c.ntrol was observed in 42.2% of c.ses and 87% of p.tients had good renal func.ion (glomerular filter rate ≥ 60 ml/mn). Therap.utic.c.mp.ianc. was good in 53.4% of c.ses and dual therap. was the most used therap.utic.modality 44.8% (52 p.tients) followed by trip.e therap.. The fac.ors assoc.ated with p.or blood p.essure c.ntrol were glyc.mic.imbalanc., non-c.mp.ianc. and monotherap.. Dual therap. had a p.otec.ive effec.. c.nc.usion: The assoc.ation of hyp.rtension and typ. 2 diabetes is frequent. The risk of oc.urrenc. inc.eases with age. Ambulatory blood p.essure measure is the best method to assess blood p.essure c.ntrol. Op.imization of blood p.essure c.ntrol should also inc.ude op.imization of glyc.mic.c.ntrol.

Free c.nvec.ion flow between two vertic.l p.rallel p.ates with transverse sinusoidal injec.ion of the fluid at the stationary p.ate and its c.rresp.nding removal by c.nstant suc.ion through the p.ate in uniform motion has been analyzed. Due to this typ. of injec.ion veloc.ty, the flow bec.mes three-dimensional. Analytic.l exp.essions for the veloc.ty, temp.rature, skin fric.ion and rate of heat transfer were obtained. The imp.rtant c.arac.eristic. of the p.oblem, namely the skin fric.ion and the rate of heat transfer are disc.ssed in detail with the help.of grap.s.

With the advanc.s of disp.ay tec.nology, three-dimensional(3-D) imaging systems are bec.ming inc.easingly p.p.lar. One way of stimulating 3-D p.rc.p.ion is to use stereo p.irs, a p.ir of images of the same sc.ne ac.uired from different p.rsp.c.ives. Sinc. there is an inherent redundanc. between the images of a stereo p.irs, data c.mp.ession algorithms should be emp.oyed to rep.esent stereo p.irs effic.ently. The p.op.sed tec.niques generally use bloc.-based disp.rity c.mp.nsation. In order to get the higher c.mp.ession ratio, this p.p.r emp.oys the wavelet-based mixed-resolution c.ding tec.nique to inc.rp.rate with Sp.-based disp.rity-c.mp.nsation to c.mp.ess the stereo image data. The mixed-resolution c.ding is a p.rc.p.ually justified tec.nique that is ac.ieved by p.esenting one eye with a low-resolution image and the other with a high-resolution image. p.yc.op.ysic.l exp.riments show that the stereo image p.irs with one high-resolution image and one low-resolution image p.ovide almost the same stereo dep.h to that of a stereo image with two high-resolution images. By c.mbining the mixed-resolution c.ding and Sp.-based disp.rity-c.mp.nsation tec.niques, one referenc. (left) high-resolution image c.n be c.mp.essed by a hierarc.ic.l wavelet transform followed by vec.or quantization and Huffman enc.der. After two level wavelet dec.mp.sitions, for the low-resolution right image and low-resolution left image, subsp.c. p.ojec.ion tec.nique using the fixed bloc. size disp.rity c.mp.nsation estimation is used. At the dec.der, the low-resolution right subimage is estimated using the disp.rity from the low-resolution left subimage. A full-size rec.nstruc.ion is obtained by up.amp.ing a fac.or of 4 and rec.nstruc.ing with the synthesis low p.ss filter. Finally, exp.rimental results are p.esented, whic. show that our sc.eme ac.ieves a p.NR gain (about 0.92dB) as c.mp.red to the c.rrent bloc.-based disp.rity c.mp.nsation c.ding tec.niques.

Objec.ive: Xeroderma p.gmentosum (Xp. is a rare autosomal rec.ssive dermatosis c.used by genetic.defec.s of DNA rep.ir. This study was p.rformed to detec. and analyze the genes of 2 Uygur p.tients with Xp.and their families and assess the p.tients' p.enotyp.s, whic. may enric. the understanding of the genetic.skin disorder sp.c.rum in Xinjiang area. Methods: We c.llec.ed the c.inic.l data from 2 p.tients with Xp.and p.rip.eral blood samp.es from the p.tients and their family members. The p.tients' DNA was sequenc.d and detec.ed by Sanger sequenc.ng, and gene mutations were sc.eened. Results: The p.oband in family 1 p.esented with brown mac.lae at the exp.sure site and squamous c.ll c.rc.noma sec.ndary to a fac.al rash. The p.oband had a homozygous nuc.eotide variation of Xp.0}c.2251-2A> G (A c.ange from A to G in the p.nultimate p.sition of the intron before the 2251 p.sition in the c.ding region), whic. was a shear mutation. In this family, both p.rents were heterozygous, and no similar mutation detec.ed in the sister. In family 2, the p.oband had sc.ttered blac. brown sp.ts and p.p.les on the trunk and limbs. and his younger sister was also a p.tient. The p.oband and his younger sister had homonuc.eotide variation of Xp. c.631c. T, whic. was nonsense mutation, resulting in the c.don for Arg No.211 being c.anged into termination c.don (***211X), thus terminating the p.p.ide c.ain synthesis p.ematurely. All the normal individuals in the two families were heterozygotes, and homozygous mutations oc.urred in all the p.tients, whic. was c.nsistent with the autosomal rec.ssive inheritanc.. c.nc.usion: Xp.is rare in Uygur p.p.lation.
