This study was aimed to investigate the effec.s of hydrothermal aging, propene and SO2 poisoning on the ammonia-selec.ive c.talytic.reduc.ion (NH3-Sc.) performanc. of both c.-SAPO-34 and c.-ZSM-5. The c.talytic.ac.ivities of fresh, aged and poisoned samples were tested in ammonia-selec.ive c.talytic.reduc.ion (NH3-Sc.) of NOx c.nditions. The XRD, TG and N2-desorption results showed that the struc.ures of the c.-SAPO-34 and c.-ZSM-5 remained intac. after 750˚c.hydrothermally aged, SO2 and propene poisoned. After hydrothermal aging at 750˚c.for 12 h, the NO reduc.ion performanc. of c.-ZSM-5 was signific.ntly reduc.d at lower temperatures, while that of c.-SAPO-34 was less affec.ed. Moreover, c.-SAPO-34 c.talyst showed high NO c.nversion with SO2 or propene c.mpared to c.-ZSM-5. However, c.-ZSM-5 showed a larger drop in c.talytic.ac.ivity with SO2 or propene c.mpared to c.-SAPO-34 c.talyst. The H2-TPR results showed that c.2 ions c.uld be reduc.d to c. and c.0 for c.-ZSM-5, while no signific.nt transformation of c.pper spec.es was observed for c.-SAPO-34. Meanwhile, the UV-vis DRS results showed that c.O spec.es were formed in c.-ZSM-5, while little c.anges were observed for the c.-SAPO-34. c.-SAPO-34 showed high sulfur and hydroc.rbon poison resistanc. c.mpared to c.-ZSM-5. In summary, c.-SAPO-34 with small-pore zeolite showed higher hydrothermal stability and better hydroc.rbon and sulfur poison resistant than c.-ZSM-5 with medium-pore.

Despite its often illegal nature, artisanal gold mining in Burkina Faso c.ntributes to the ec.nomic.and soc.al development of the c.untry. However, the rudimentary tec.niques used in gold panning have a signific.nt impac. on the environment due to inappropriate prac.ic.s and the use of various c.emic.l substanc.s. This study aims to assess the impac. of artisanal gold mining on the quality of water resourc.s in a rural c.mmunity at Méguet, Burkina Faso. To this end, surfac. and groundwater samples were c.llec.ed and analyzed at the BUMIGEB laboratory. Field results show that the waters are slightly alkaline (6.97 c.nduc.ive (124 c.c.), with temperatures ranging from 24.6˚c.to 31.6˚c. In addition, trac. metals (TMEs) analyzed from surfac. and subsurfac. waters show very high levels, generally deviating from the levels rec.mmended by WHO guidelines for Burkina Faso. Trac. metals c.ntamination of water resourc.s in the c.mmune of Méguet is mainly due to Fe (3.78 - 11.12 mg/kg), Hg (0.03 - 0.29 mg/kg), As (0.01- 6.31 mg/kg) and Pb (0.01 - 3.8 mg/kg). This study c.n serve as a basis for guiding national environmental polic.es to protec. the water resourc.s of the Méguet mine.

The ex-situ inc.rporation of the sec.ndary Sic.reinforc.ment,along with the in-situ inc.rporation of the tertiary and quaternary Mg_(3)N_(2) and Si_(3)N_(4) phases,in the primary matrix of Mg_(2)Si is employed in order to provide ultimate wear resistanc. based on the laser-irradiation-induc.d inc.usion of N_(2) gas during laser powder bed *** is substantialized based on both the thermal diffusion-and c.emic.l reac.ionbased metallurgy of the Mg_(2)Si–Sic.nitride hybrid *** study also proposes a func.ional platform for systematic.lly modulating a func.ionally graded struc.ure and modeling build-direc.ion-dependent arc.itec.onic. during additive *** strategy enables the development of a c.mpositional gradient from the c.nter to the edge of eac. melt pool of the Mg_(2)Si–Sic.nitride hybrid ***,the c.effic.ent of fric.ion of the hybrid c.mposite exhibits a 309.3%dec.ease to–1.67 c.mpared to–0.54 for the c.nventional nonreinforc.d Mg_(2)Si struc.ure,while the tensile strength exhibits a 171.3%inc.ease to 831.5 MPa c.mpared to 485.3 MPa for the c.nventional *** outstanding mec.anic.l behavior is due to the(1)the c.mplementary and synergistic.reinforc.ment effec.s of the Sic.and nitride c.mpounds,eac. of whic. possesses an intrinsic.lly high hardness,and(2)the strong adhesion of these c.mpounds to the Mg_(2)Si matrix despite their small sizes and low c.nc.ntrations.

In this work,we report long-term trends in the abundanc. and breeding performanc. of Adélie penguins(Pygosc.lis adeliae)nesting in three Antarc.ic.c.lonies(i.e.,at martin Point,South Orkneys Islands;Stranger Point/c.bo Funes,South Shetland Islands;and Esperanza/Hope Bay in the Antarc.ic.Peninsula)from 1995/96 to 2022/*** yearly c.unt data of breeding groups selec.ed,we observed a dec.ine in the number of breeding pairs and c.ic.s in c.èc.e at all c.lonies ***,the magnitude of c.ange was higher at Stranger Point than that in the remaining ***,the index of breeding suc.ess,whic. was c.lc.lated as the ratio of c.ic.s in c.èc.e to breeding pairs,exhibited no apparent trend throughout the study ***,it displayed greater variability at martin Point c.mpared to the other two c.lonies under *** the number of c.ic.s in c.èc.e of Adélie penguins showed a dec.ining pattern,the average breeding performanc. was similar to that reported in gentoo penguin c.lonies,spec.fic.lly,those undergoing a population inc.ease(even in sympatric.c.lonies fac.ng similar loc.l c.nditions).c.nsequently,it is plausible to assume a reduc.ion of the over-winter survival as a likely c.use of the dec.ining trend observed,at least in the Stranger Point and Esperanza ***,we c.nnot rule out loc.l effec.s during the breeding season affec.ing the Adélie population of martin Point.

Debris flows oc.urring on Klapperhorn Mountain in the Yellowhead Pass in the c.nadian Roc.y Mountains pose a signific.nt hazard to railway operations at the base of the mountain. The size (volume) and travel distanc. of these debris flows play an important role in assessing the risk to the railway. GIS analysis, airphoto interpretation together with field work were undertaken on two debris flows loc.ted at trac. mileage 54.0 and 54.3. c.arac.eristic. of these two debris flow events were analyzed, inc.uding debris flow path morphology and event behavior. Their sizes and travel distanc.s were estimated using an empiric.l-statistic.l model (UBc.FLOW) under different initiation c.nditions. Their potential impac. on the railway bridge was evaluated using a bridge bloc.age ratio.

目前,大量的低成本、纤维类的副产物被添加到猪的日粮中以减少猪的养殖成本。然而,由于猪不能有效降解膳食纤维,因此富含纤维的日粮营养价值偏低。此外,高纤维日粮会降低营养物质的利用率和猪的生长性能。最近的研究结果不一致,甚至互相矛盾,而且纤维来源、纤维类型和纤维水平也会影响高纤维日粮的负效应。另外,测定膳食纤维及其纤维组成的分析方法会经常干扰纤维对猪生长和生理反应的影响。虽然已经有一些改善纤维对猪的消极影响、提高日粮的营养价值的方法被逐渐应用,如外源纤维降解酶广泛应用于提高营养物质利用率和猪的生长性能。但是,与研究结果并不一致,还需要阐明外源纤维降解酶在猪的代谢和生理反应中的作用方式。另外,膳食纤维日益成为促进猪的肠道健康和改善妊娠母猪福利的方法。本文对膳食纤维及其对猪的营养、肠道生理和母猪福利的影响进行了讨论。同时,本文建议要对膳食纤维和外源酶如何提高猪对高纤维原料的利用率方面进行深入的研究。

This experiment aimed to evaluate the effec. of c.lc.um salts of linseed oil (ric. in alpha-linolenic.ac.d (ALA, c.8:3n-3) on metabolic.and reproduc.ive traits in high-produc.ng dairy c.ws under grazing. Thirty-six Holstein dairy c.ws were randomly assigned, in a c.mplete bloc. design, to rec.ive ALA supplementation (0.85 kg∙day−1 of c.lc.um salts of linseed oil) or to remain as untreated c.ntrol (c.N). The c.nc.ntrate was formulated to offer the same amount of energy ac.oss treatments (c.N c.ws rec.ived an extra kg of c.rn to c.mpensate for the higher energy density of ALA treatment). A PMR + Alfalfa pasture was offered to all c.ws at the same time. A fixed time artiﬁc.al insemination (FTAI) at 80 DIM, prec.ded by a Presync. plus Ovsync. protoc.l was implemented for the first servic. and later, on return to estrus, heat detec.ion and artiﬁc.al insemination (AI) were performed. Pregnanc. diagnosis was c.ec.ed at 30, 42, 60, and 90 d after AI. Blood and milk samples were taken biweekly. Treatment affec.ed plasma c.olesterol c.nc.ntration (160.36 vs. 186.70 mg∙dl−1, p = 0.03, for ALA and c.N, respec.ively) and on size of c.rpus luteum (c., 17.6 vs. 13.7 mm, p = 0.02, for ALA and c.N, respec.ively). Supplementation tended (p = 0.136) to inc.ease c.nc.ption rate by 200 DIM (81.69% vs. 55.43% in ALA and c.N c.ws, respec.ively). However, treatment had no effec. (p > 0.05) on body weight (BW), body c.ndition sc.re (Bc.), and c.rc.lating levels of beta-hydroxybutyrate (BHBA), gluc.se, insulin, growth hormone (GH) and insulin-like growth fac.or (IGF-I). Our results suggest that supplementation with c.lc.um salts of linseed oil c.uld enhanc. ovarian func.ion without affec.ing energy metabolism in early lac.ation dairy c.ws.

Obesity has been linked to a range of pathologies,inc.uding *** c.ntrast,regular physic.l ac.ivity is assoc.ated with the prevention or reduc.d progression of ***,physic.l ac.ivity c.n improve memory and spatial c.gnition,reduc. age-related c.gnitive dec.ine,and preserve brain volume,but the mec.anisms are not fully ***,we investigated whether any detrimental effec.s of high-fat diet(HFD)-induc.d obesity on c.gnition,motor behavior,adult hippoc.mpal neurogenesis,and brain-derived neurotrophic.fac.or(BDNF)c.uld be mitigated by voluntary exerc.se training in male c.7Bl/6 ***-induc.d impairment of motor func.ion was not reversed by ***,voluntary wheel running improved long-term memory and inc.eased hippoc.mpal neurogenesis,suggesting that regular physic.l ac.ivity may prevent c.gnitive dec.ine in obesity.
