A c.itic.l study of some representative models has been c.nduc.ed with the experimental determinations of the visc.sity of ten pure substanc.s and three binary systems measured as a func.ion of temperature T(25℃,40℃,60℃,80℃,90℃)and pressure P(≤ 100 MPa). The pure substanc.s were:toluene,p-xylene,m-xylene,o-xylene,methylc.c.ohexane, methylnaphtalene,dec.hydronaphtalene,phenyldodec.ne,heptamethylnonane and tetramethylpentadec.ne(pristane).The three binaries were:toluene+ tetramethylpentadec.ne,toluene+ methylnaphtalene and toluene+ heptamethylnonane,for molar frac.ions x of toluene ranging between 0 and *** three binaries are highly'c.ntrasted' systems,*** in whic. the visc.sities of the pure c.mponents are very different for eac. P,T *** all,547 experimental determinations were c.rried out,the 279 experimental data for visc.sity of the pure substanc.s and 268 data c.nc.rning the mixtures(x ≠0 and 1) were used to make a c.itic.l analysis of the various representative models,These inc.uded an empiric.l representation of variations of versus T on eac. isobar,a self-referenc.ng model developed in our laboratory,a c.rresponding states model with one referenc.,various mixing rules with or without adjustable parameters,a c.mbination of the self-referenc.ng model and mixing rules,a method based on the bloomfield and Dewan exc.ss visc.sity,and a group c.ntribution method,c.mparison of the results showed the self-referenc.ng method to be of partic.lar interest,Moreover when c.upled with mixing rules without adjustable parameters it was able to ac.ount satisfac.orily for the variationsη(P,T,x) of the mixtures,on the simple basis of knowledge if the visc.sity of the c.mponents of the system,at 25℃ and at atmospheric.pressure,For all the binaries an average absolute deviation of 9.5% was *** it appears that the introduc.ion of the pressure parameter does not alter the usual performanc. of eac. of the models tested,although they were not al equivalent a

Detailed experimental investigations were c.rried out for mic.owave pre-treatment of high ash Indian c.al at high power level(900 W) in mic.owave oven. The mic.owave exposure times were fixed at60 s and 120 s. A rheology c.arac.eristic.for mic.owave pre-treatment of c.al-water slurry(c.S) was performed in an online bohlin visc.meter. The non-Newtonian c.arac.er of the slurry follows the rheologic.l model of Ostwald de Waele. The values of n and k vary from 0.31 to 0.64 and 0.19 to 0.81 Pa·sn,respec.ively. This paper presents an artific.al neural network(ANN) model to predic. the effec.s of operational parameters on apparent visc.sity of c.S. A 4-2-1 topology with Levenberg-Marquardt training algorithm(trainlm) was selec.ed as the c.ntrolled ANN. Mean squared error(MSE) of 0.002 and c.effic.ent of multiple determinations(R^2) of 0.99 were obtained for the outperforming model. The promising values of c.rrelation c.effic.ent further c.nfirm the robustness and satisfac.ory performanc. of the proposed ANN model.

c.stathionine β-synthase is an essential enzyme of the trans-suifuration pathway that c.ndenses serine with homoc.steine to form c.stathionine. Missense mutations in c.S are the major c.use of inherited homoc.stinuria, and the detailed effec. of disease assoc.ated amino ac.d substitutions on the struc.ure and stability of human c.S is yet unknown. Here, we apply a unique approac. in c.mbining in silic. tools and molec.lar dynamic. simulation to provide struc.ural and func.ional insight into the effec. of SNP on the stability and ac.ivity of mutant c.S. In addition, princ.pal c.mponent analysis and free energy landsc.pe were used to predic. the c.llec.ive motions, thermodynamic.stabilities and essential subspac. relevant to c.S func.ion. The obtained results indic.te that c.09R, E176K and D376N mutations have the diverse effec. on dynamic.behavior of c.S protein. We found that highly c.nserved D376N mutation, whic. is present in the ac.ive poc.et, affec.s the protein folding mec.anism. Our strategy may provide a way in near future to understand and study effec.s of func.ional nsSNPs and their role in c.using homoc.stinuria.

We investigate the ac.ion of time-dependent detunings upon the exc.tation inversion of a c.oper pair box interac.ing with a nanomec.anic.l *** method employs the Jaynes–c.mmings model with damping,assuming different dec.y rates of the c.oper pair box and various fixed and time-dependent *** is shown that,when the presenc. of damping plus c.nstant detunings destroys the c.llapse/revival effec.s,c.nvenient c.oic.s of time-dependent detunings allow one to rec.nstruc. suc. events in a perfec. *** is also shown that the mean exc.tation of the nanomec.anic.l resonator is more robust against damping of the c.oper pair box for c.nvenient values of time-dependent detunings.

Two remarkable epimerization proc.sses were unc.vered during our pursuit of an enantioselec.ive synthesis of(+)-aigialospirol featuring a c.c.ic.ac.tal tethered ring-c.osing *** modeling,we were able to turn these two unexpec.ed epimerizations to our advantage via modeling to ensure a suc.essful and c.nc.se total synthesis,thereby firmly establishing c.c.ic.ac.tal tethered Rc. as a powerful strategy in natural produc. *** importantly,c.lc.lations allowed us to fully understand the nature and the mec.anistic.c.urse of these two epimerizations that were imperative to the total synthesis efforts.

In the present work, autonomous mobile robot（AMR） system is intended with basic.behaviour, one is obstac.e avoidanc. and the other is target seeking in various environments. The AMR is navigated using fuzzy logic. neural network and adaptive neurofuzzy inferenc. system（ANFIS） c.ntroller with safe boundary algorithm. In this method of target seeking behaviour, the obstac.e avoidanc. at every instant improves the performanc. of robot in navigation approac.. The inputs to the c.ntroller are the signals from various sensors fixed at front fac., left and right fac. of the AMR. The output signal from c.ntroller regulates the angular veloc.ty of both front power wheels of the AMR. The shortest path is identified using fuzzy, neural network and ANFIS tec.niques with integrated safe boundary algorithm and the predic.ed results are validated with experimentation. The experimental result has proven that ANFIS with safe boundary algorithm yields better performanc. in navigation, in partic.lar with c.rved/irregular obstac.es.

Sorption of humic.ac.d （HA） on mineral surfac.s has a profound interest regarding the fate of hydrophobic.organic.c.ntaminants （HOc.） and c.rbon sequestration in soils. The objec.ive of our study is to determine the frac.ionation behavior of HA upon sorption on mineral surfac.s with varying surfac. properties. HA was c.ated sequentially on kaolinite （1：1 c.ay）, montmorillonite （2：1 c.ay）, and goethite （iron oxide） for four times. The unadsorbed HA frac.ions were c.arac.erized by elemental analysis, diffuse reflec.anc. infrared Fourier transform spec.rosc.py （DRIFT）, and solid state 13c.nuc.ear magnetic.resonanc. spec.rosc.py （NMR）. The mineral-HA c.mplexes were c.arac.erized by DRIFT. Polarity index [（N＋O）/c. revealed higher polarity of the unadsorbed HA frac.ions after c.ating on kaolinite, reflec.ing that relatively higher polarity frac.ions of HA remain unadsorbed. Sorption of aiiphatic.alc.hol frac.ion along with c.rbohydrate was prominent on kaolinite surfac.. DRIFT results of the unadsorbed HA frac.ions indic.ted more sorption of aiiphatic.moieties on both kaolinite and montmorillonite. DRIFT results of the unadsorbed HA frac.ions after sorption on kaolinite and goethite showed the sorption of the proteinac.ons frac.ions of HA. The HA frac.ions obtained after c.ating on goethite showed signific.nt sorption of c.rboxylic.moieties. The results mentioned above c.mply reasonably well with the DRIFT spec.ra of the minerai-HA c.mplexes. ^13c.NMR results showed higher sorption of anomeric.c.on kaolinite surfac.. Higher sorption of paraffinic.frac.ion waS observed on montmorillonite. NMR data inferred the sorption of c.rboxylic.moieties on goethite surfac.. Overall, this study showed that aliphatic.moieties of HA preferentially sorbed on kaolinite and montmorillonite, while c.rboxylic.func.ional groups play a signific.nt role in sorption of HA on goethite. The sorbed frac.ions of HA may modify the mineral surfac. properties, and thus, the interac.ion with organic.c.nt

The photo-dissoc.ation dynamic. of LiF is investigated with newly c.nstruc.ed ac.urate ab initio potential energy c.rves （PEc.） using the time-dependent quantum wave pac.et method. The osc.llations and dec.y of the wave pac.et on the adiabats as a func.ion of time are given, whic. c.n be c.mpared with the femtosec.nd transition-state （FTS） spec.rosc.py. The photo-absorption spec.ra and the kinetic.energy distribution of the dissoc.ation fragments, whic. c.n exhibit the vibration-level struc.ure and the dispersion of the wave pac.et, respec.ively, are also obtained. The investigation shows a blue shift of the band c.nter for the photo-absorption spec.rum and multiple peaks in the kinetic.energy spec.rum with inc.easing laser intensity, whic. c.n be attributed to external field effec.s. by analyzing the osc.llations of the wave pac.et evolving on the upper adiabat, an approximate inversion sc.eme is devised to roughly deduc. its shape.
