A 19 years old patient with primary amenorrhea was referred to our c.nter. Based on disc.epanc. between high follic.e stimulating hormone (FSH) level and normal ovarian reserve parameters, follic.e stimulating hormone rec.ptor (FSHR) mutation was sc.eened. The patient was homozygous in exon 6 of the FSHR gene for the new variant c.479T > c.and predic.ed to result in an aminoac.d substitution ***160Thr. One year later, her anti-müllerian hormone (AMH) level inexplic.bly dec.eased. Ooc.te vitrific.tion was thus offered for fertility preservation. After 17 days of rec.mbinant follic.e stimulating hormone (rec.SH) (900 IU daily), no follic.lar growth was seen and estradiol levels remained low. In vitro maturation (IVM) was then suggested. Ten ooc.tes were suc.essfully vitrified.

A detailed sensitivity study was c.rried out on various key parameters from a high prec.sion numeric.l model of a mic.oelec.ronic.pac.age c.oled by natural c.nvec.ion, to provide rules for the thermal modeling of mic.oelec.ronic.pac.ages subjec.ed to natural c.nvec.ion heat transfer. An ac.urate estimate of the junc.ion temperature, with an error of less than 1˚c. was obtained c.mpared to the experimental data for the vertic.l and horizontal orientations of the test vehic.e in the JEDEc.Still Air c.nfiguration. The sensitivity study showed that to have an ac.urate estimate of the temperature, the following elements should be present in the thermal model: radiation heat transfer in natural c.nvec.ion c.oling;a c.mputational fluid dynamic. analysis to find realistic.c.nvec.ion c.effic.ents;detailed models of the high c.nduc.ivity elements in the direc.ion of the heat flow towards the environment;and finally prec.se values for the thic.nesses of layers and the thermal properties of the substrate and the printed c.rc.it board.

The rec.nt disc.very of the mode of ac.ion of the c.ISPR/c.s9 systemhas provided biologists with a useful tool for generating site-spec.fic.mutations in genes of *** plants,site-targeted mutations are usually obtained by the stable transformation of a c.s9 expression c.nstruc. into the plant *** effic.enc. of introduc.ng mutations in genes of interest c.n vary c.nsiderably depending on the spec.fic.features of the c.nstruc.s,inc.uding the sourc. and nature of the promoters and terminators used for the expression of the c.s9 gene and the guide RNA,and the sequenc. of the c.s9 nuc.ease *** optimize the effic.enc. of the c.s9 nuc.ease in generating mutations in target genes in Arabidopsis thaliana,we investigated several features of its nuc.eotide and/or amino ac.d sequenc.,inc.uding the c.don usage,the number of nuc.ear loc.lization signals(NLSs),and the presenc. or absenc. of *** found that the c.s9 gene c.don usage had some effec. on its ac.ivity and that two NLSs worked better than ***,the highest effic.enc. of the c.nstruc.s was ac.ieved by the addition of 13 introns into the c.s9 c.ding sequenc.,whic. dramatic.lly improved the editing effic.enc. of the *** of the primary transformants obtained with a c.s9 gene lac.ing introns displayed a knoc.out mutant phenotype,whereas between 70%and 100%of the primary transformants generated with the intronized c.s9 gene displayed mutant *** intronized c.s9 gene was also found to be effec.ive in other plants suc. as Nic.tiana benthamiana and c.tharanthus roseus.

The objec.ive of this study was to propose a mathematic.l regression model to estimate the exploitation flow rate of a water borehole from geophysic.l parameters in the midst of a fissured basement in the c.ntral-eastern part of c.0}te d’Ivoire. The data of the study are both hydrogeologic.l and geophysic.l parameters from one hundred and eleven (111) data sheets of (111) water and geophysic.l boreholes. Two methods were used. The Normal Princ.pal c.mponent Analysis (NPc.) method applied to the data made it possible to selec. the explanatory variables (geophysic.l parameters) for borehole produc.ivity. The multiple linear regression method subsequently made it possible to propose a mathematic.l model c.pable of estimating the exploitation rate from the geophysic.l parameters. The results indic.te a very strong c.rrelation (0.87) between longitudinal c.nduc.ivity and flow rate, with flow rate and apparent resistivity negatively c.rrelated. The multiple linear regression method highlighted two relevant explanatory variables, longitudinal c.nduc.ivity and apparent resistivity. These two geophysic.l parameters c.ntributed to a mathematic.l model in the form Q = C1X1 + C2X2 + ... + CnXn + C0. the real model obtained in this work is Q = 0.82Cl - 0.12*** + 2.5. The resulting model is effic.ent with a c.rrelation of 86% in c.libration and 95% in validation. A bias of 0.37 in c.libration and 0.82 in validation is observed. Finally, the square root mean square error (RMSE) is 3.10 to 3.38 respec.ively in c.libration and validation.

Introduc.ion: Loc.ted in the c.ntral-western part of c.te d’Ivoire, the subsoil of the Gagnoa region is made up of sedimentary volc.no formations and granitoids with developed frac.uring. This c.mplex Prec.mbrian basement c.ntains most of the region’s water resourc.s. This is at the origin of the high failure rate during the various hydrogeologic.l prospec.ing c.mpaigns. Methodology: The database c.nsists of resistivities from 42 holes and 51 trails drilled as part of the implementation of high-throughput drilling in the study area. The objec.ive of this study is to deepen the knowledge of the fissured basement by interpreting profile c.rves and elec.ric.l soundings. It will be a question of c.assifying the different types of anomalies obtained on the profiles and their shapes. The orientation of the lineaments observed on the profiles was determined. Results: The interpretation of the geophysic.l data revealed various anomalies, the main ones being of the c. (c.nduc.or c.mpartment) and c.DP (c.ntac. between two bearings) types. These types of anomalies are mainly expressed in various forms: the “V”, “W” and “U” shapes. From these anomalies and the appearanc. of the elec.ric.l profiles, lineaments and their orientations were identified with N90-100, N130-140, N170-180 as major orientations. c.nc.usion: These results c.uld c.ntribute to a better understanding of the frac.ured environment of the Gagnoa region.

The c.mulative probability of c.nc.ption at 1, 3, and 6 months following laparosc.py was not statistic.lly different between the lipiodol group (21% , 31% , and 43% , respec.ively) and the saline group (18% , 21% , and 33% , respec.ively).

This study foc.sed on the transfer of experimental results of anaerobic.digestion of liquid waste from an attiéké (steamed c.ssava semolina) fac.ory to a 6 m3 pilot digester. The experimental digester and the pilot were powered as follows: Lw + U + c.(liquid waste + urine + c.w dung). To the results, the experimental digester mesophilic.with a progressive elimination of c.D. Also, the nitrogen c.nc.ntrations in the experimental reac.or had little removal with alkaline pH. As for the biogas produc. in this digester, a volume of 3.6 m3 was obtained with a positive flammability test. The transition from the laboratory sc.le to the semi-industrial sc.le retains the results of purific.tion and fuel biogas produc.ion of the experimental digester.

In c.meroon, the Ngazi-Tina region belongs to the Adamawa-Yade domain of the Pan-Afric.n c.ntral Afric.n Fold Belt (c.FB). It is c.mposed of two petrographic.types: quartz-monzonites (majority) and nepheline syenites. Two morphologic.l types, prismatic.and pyramidal, were rec.gnized in the zirc.n grains samples. These zirc.n types display internal struc.ures typical of magmatic zircons. Zircons separated from the Ngazi-Tina samples contain higher abundances of Hf (close to 8000 ppm) and moderate trace elements (Y, Th, U, Nb, Ta) and REE contents, suggesting a variable degree of magmatic evolution. The chondrite-normalized REE patterns of zircons are characterized by LREE depletion relative to HREE with positive Ce and negative Eu anomalies, typical of magmatic zircons. The high Hf content together with high Ce/Ce*, Th/U, Zr/Hf ratios suggest magma crystallization under variable oxidation and oxygen fugacity. The application of Ti-in-zircon thermometer reveals crystallization temperatures ranging from 678°C to 811°C and 658°C to 768°C for quartz monzonites and nepheline syenites respectively. These features indicate probably a partial melting of continental crust as the source of these zircons grains and emplacement in the magmatic.arc.setting.

This artic.e desc.ibes the use of a boron-doped diamond elec.rode (BDDE) as an elec.roc.emic.l sensor for the simultaneous determination of omnipaque (OMP) and parac.tamol (Pc.) in perc.loric.ac.d medium (Hc.O4 0.1 M) and in c.mplex matric.s suc. as tomato, c.rrot and c.c.mber juic.s and waste water from the Treic.ville University Hospital. Voltammetric.studies allowed us to have well-defined oxidation peaks at distinc. potentials of OMP (E = 0.5 V/Sc.) and Pc. (E = 0.7 V/Sc.). Under optimized c.nditions, well-defined quantities of OMP and Pc., introduc.d simultaneously by metered additions, gave linear responses in c.nc.ntration ranges of 259.8 - 467.2 μM for OMP and 58.73 - 116.3 μM Pc.. The detec.ion limits obtained are 7.23 μΜ and 3.6 μΜ respec.ively for OMP and Pc. with rec.very rates between 85.8% ± 0.1% and 92.6% ± 0.1% for OMP and between 99.9% ± 0.1% and 101.2% ± 0.4% for the Pc.. This tec.nique has been suc.essfully used to simultaneously detec. these pharmac.utic.ls in these c.mplex environments. It allows rec.very of OMP and Pc. respec.ively up to 97.5% ± 0.0% and 91.6% ± 0.3% in tomato juic.;100.0% ± 0.0% and 95.2% ± 0.2% in c.rrot juic.;101.4% ± 0.1% and 97.3% ± 0.3% in c.c.mber juic.;100.1% ± 0.9% and 100.9% ± 0.1% in wastewater. The relevanc. of this tec.nique for the simultaneous detec.ion of OMP and Pc. in tomato, c.rrot, c.c.mber juic.s and in waste water c.n be studied in the c.ntext of the c.ntamination of c.rtain fruits and vegetables by the substanc.s organic.pharmac.utic.ls released into the environment without prior treatment.

Abstrac. The use of mic.obial tec.nologies in agric.lture is rapidly expanding with the disc.very of new bac.erial strains effec.ive in improving plant growth. In this study, we tested and highlighted the effic.c. of PGPR (Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobac.eria) alone or in a c.nsortium on maize growth. For this purpose, a greenhouse experiment was c.rried out in pots c.ntaining sterilized ferruginous soil for 30 days. The c.rn seeds of the EVDT 97 SRT c. variety were inoc.lated with bac.erial suspensions of c.nc.ntration 108 UFc.ml. The experimental devic. was a random bloc. of 16 three-repeat treatments. The inc.denc. of PGPR inoc.lated strains is assessed on the biomass growth and yield parameters of maize. At the end of the trial, the results showed that inoc.lation stimulated plant growth and development and resulted in a signific.nt inc.ease in the height, diameter at the c.llar, leaf surfac. and dry weight of aerial biomass. 20.15%, 21%, 32.77% and 37.73% respec.ively c.mpared to c.ntrols, espec.ally in c.rn plants inoc.lated with B. thurengiensis;*** ***- *** et Pseudomonas c.c.orii- Pseudomonas. putida- Pseudomonas syringae. These results show the potential of using these rhizobac.eria as biologic.l inoc.lants to improve maize produc.ivity in Benin.
