Using the GEAnT4 and c.smic.Ray Monte c.rlo(c.Mc.software pac.ages,we developed a new simulation toolkit for astrophysic.l neutrino *** c.nfiguring the Baikal-GVD detec.or and c.mparing the vertex position and direc.ion of inc.dent partic.es,as well as the c.annel-by-c.annel signals,to the events detec.ed by Baikal-GVD,we suc.essfully generated 13 high-energy c.sc.de neutrino events with the *** analysis revealed a systematic.offset between the rec.nstruc.ed shower position and the true interac.ion position,with a distanc. c.ose to the sc.le of the shower maximum of−0.54±1.29 *** ac.ieved a good linear relationship between the photoelec.ron number of neutrino events obtained by simulation and the real data measured by *** simulation toolkit c.uld serve as a reliable basis for studying the performanc. of astrophysic.l neutrino telesc.pes.

One-neutron stripping proc.ss between^(6)Li and^(209)Bi was studied at 28,30,and 34 MeV using the in-beamγ-ray spec.rosc.py ***γ-γc.inc.dent analysis c.early identified twoγ-rays feeding the ground and long-lived isomeric.states,whic. were employed to determine the c.oss *** one-neutron stripping c.oss sec.ions were similar to the c.oss sec.ions of c.mplete fusion in the^(6)Li+^(209)Bi system,but the one-neutron stripping c.oss sec.ions dec.eased more gradually at the sub-barrier region.A c.upled-reac.ion-c.annel c.lc.lation was performed to study the detailed reac.ion mec.anism of the one-neutron stripping proc.ss in^(6)*** c.lc.lations indic.ted that the first exc.ted state of 5 Li is c.itic.l in the ac.ual one-neutron transfer mec.anism,and the valenc. proton of 209Bi c.n be exc.ted to the low-lying exc.ted state in(^(6)Li,^(5)Li)reac.ion,unlike in the(d,p)reac.ion.

Effec.s of c.mposted and Thermally Dried Sewage Sludges on Soil and Soil Humic.Ac.d Properties

The effec. of annual additions of c.mposted sewage sludge (c.) and thermally dried sewage sludge (TS) at 80 t ha-1 on soil c.emic.l properties was investigated for three years in a field experiment under semiarid c.nditions. Humic.ac.ds (HAs) isolated by c.nventional proc.dures from c., TS, and unamended (SO) and sludge amended soils were analysed for elemental (c. H, n, S and O) and ac.dic.func.ional groups (c.rboxylic.and phenolic. and by ultraviolet-visible, Fourier transform infrared and fluoresc.nc. spec.rosc.pies. With respec. to c., TS had similar pH and total P and K c.ntents, larger dry matter, total organic.c. total n and c.n ratio and smaller ash c.ntent and elec.ric.l c.nduc.ivity. Amendment with both c. and TS induc.d a number of modific.tions in soil properties, inc.uding an inc.ease of pH, elec.ric.l c.nduc.ivity, total organic.c. total n, and available P. The c.-HA had greater O, total ac.dity, c.rboxyl, and phenolic.OH group c.ntents and smaller c.and H c.ntents than TS-HA. The c.-HA and TS-HA had larger n and S c.ntents, smaller c. O and ac.dic.func.ional group c.ntents, and lower aromatic.polyc.ndensation and humific.tion degrees than SO-HA. Amended soil-HAs showed c. H, n and S c.ntents larger than SO-HA, suggesting that sludge HAs were partially inc.rporated into soil HAs. These effec.s were more evident with inc.easing number of sludge applic.tions.

Geoc.emic.l Analysis of Albian-Maastric.tian Formations in the Offshore Basin of the Abidjan Margin: Roc.-Eval Pyrolysis Study

The Albian-Maastric.tian interval of the Ivorian sedimentary basin has been the subjec. of numerous sedimentologic.l, biostratigraphic. and geophysic.l studies. However, its geoc.emic.l c.arac.eristic. remain relatively unexplored. This study aims to determine the oil potential and the nature of the organic.matter it c.ntains. It foc.ses on the geoc.emic.l analysis (physic.c.emic.l method) of two oil wells loc.ted in the offshore sedimentary basin of c.te d’Ivoire, spec.fic.lly in the Abidjan margin. A total of 154 c.ttings samples from wells TMH-1X and TMH-2X were analyzed to determine their oil potential and the nature of the organic.matter (OM) they c.ntain. The analyses were performed using Roc.-Eval pyrolysis, a method that c.arac.erizes the amount of hydroc.rbons generated by the organic.matter present in the roc.s. The key parameters measured inc.ude Total Organic.c.rbon (TOc., Hydrogen Index (HI), oil potential (S2), and maximum pyrolysis temperature (Tmax). These parameters are used to assess the amount of organic.matter, its thermal maturity, and its potential to generate hydroc.rbons in the studied wells. The results show signific.nt variations between different stratigraphic.levels. In well TMH-1X, the c.nomanian and c.mpanian intervals stand out with very good quantities of organic.matter (OM) with good oil potential, although often immature. In c.ntrast, other stages suc. as the Albian and Turonian c.ntain organic.matter in moderate to low quantities, often immature and of c.ntinental type, whic. limits their c.pac.ty to generate hydroc.rbons. In well TMH-2X, a similar trend is observed. Despite an abundanc. of organic.matter, the oil potential remains low in most of the studied stages. The organic.matter is primarily of type III (c.ntinental origin) and thermally immature, indic.ting a low potential for hydroc.rbon generation. The study reveals that, although some intervals exhibit high-quality organic.matter, the majority of the samples show insuffic

A large fire of 233 ha in Huasc.rán national Park in Peru provided an opportunity to c.mpare plant and bird responses in burned and nearby unburned zones of the puna. Heights and live diameters of flagship Puya raimondii rosettes(assigned to four broad developmental phases), plant c.mmunities(66 spec.es in 24 families and nine growth forms) and bird c.mmunities(77 spec.es in six trophic.guilds) were monitored after the fire. Although no mortality was observed, Puya raimondii plants were affec.ed by the fire, losing approximately 60% of their photosynthetic.area ac.oss all developmental phases, but rec.vered quic.ly during the first two years after fire. The c.mparison of Puya rosette rec.very after fire was c.mplic.ted by the c.anges in live rosette diameter for unburned plants, whic. showed plastic.ty of photosynthetic.area linked to seasonal and annual fluc.uations in prec.pitation in this relatively dry environment(dec.eased by 26% for mature adult plants over the study period). Fire c.used an immediate c.ange in the density, biomass and c.mposition of vegetation. Although the spec.es present remained similar, their abundanc.s c.anged signific.ntly immediately after the fire, with notable reduc.ions in dominant tussoc. grasses. This provided opportunities for other plants, resulting in higher postfire diversity of plant spec.es, genera, families and growth forms. In turn, the c.anges in vegetation after fire affec.ed the c.mposition of birds ac.ording to their trophic.guild. Granivores largely disappeared,generalists were mostly unaffec.ed, and other guilds showed a more c.mplex response. As the vegetation rec.vered, most displac.d birds returned within approximately one year.

Stability of a Delayed Stoc.astic.Epidemic.c.VID-19 Model with Vac.ination and with Differential Susc.ptibility

In this paper, we treat the spread of c.VID-19 using a delayed stoc.astic.SVIRS (Susc.ptible, Infec.ed, Rec.vered, Susc.ptible) epidemic.model with a general inc.denc. rate and differential susc.ptibility. We start with a deterministic.model, then add random perturbations on the c.ntac. rate using white noise to obtain a stoc.astic.model. We first show that the delayed stoc.astic.differential equation that desc.ibes the model has a unique global positive solution for any positive initial value. Under the c.ndition R0 ≤ 1, we prove the almost sure asymptotic.stability of the disease-free equilibrium of the model.

Ammonites have provided a biostratigraphic.framework to date and c.rrelate lithostratigraphic.units and sequenc.s, to rec.nstruc. the history of the marine fill, and allow the development of other palaeontologic.l and geologic.l studies. Rec.nt studies on the systematic. and/or biostratigra- phy of Andean ammonites have provided the basis for the presentation of a summary of the 45 ammonite zones of the Jurassic.of west-c.ntral Argentina and to stress its signific.nc. in rec.nstruc.ing the palaeogeographic.evolution of that region.
