Technology trajectory in aviation:Innovations leading to value creation(2000-2019)

This study identifies relevant innovations and discusses value creation in the aviation industrybetween 2000and *** expertswithexperiencein innovation were selected and invited to complete a survey identifying the leading innovations in the *** study contributes to recent aviation history by offering a list of innovations and a discussion of technological path dependency and value proposition with *** overview is helpful to academics and practitioners to verify how these innovations have shaped the industry worldwide,making it more efficient,agile,sustainable,and *** innovations selected comprise consolidated technologies and emerging advances introduced in the timeframe proposed.33 innovations primarily related to incremental and technical typologies that add value to products were *** addition,this study provides insightful findings by classifying the value created for the aviation sector into five innovation clusters:(1)aircraft technology,adding value in terms of efficiency and sustainability;(2)innovation in passenger services,creating more personalized services and enhancing the customer experience;(3)innovation in flying,adding value in terms of safety and the security environment;(4)business and operational management,improving procedures and revenue;(5)and general applications,adding value in terms of Aviation 4.o(increases in automation and data exchange,including cyber-physical systems,the Internet of Things(IOT)and cloud computing).

Synthesis of ZSM-22 in Static and Dynamic System Using Seeds

ZSM-22 was synthesized using various sources of silica, organic template 1,6-diaminohexane, under hydrothermal conditions, with and without agitation during crystallization. Subsequently, the crystallized material was used as seeds to accelerate the crystallization process. Characterization of the ZSM-22 samples was performed by XRD, ATG/DTG and FT-IR. It was found that it is possible to synthesize ZSM-22 employing colloidal silica and pyrolytic silica as silicon sources only if the system is stirred during crystallization. The crystallization time for these systems was 13 hours, longer times of crystallization do not significantly increase the crystallinity of the sample. The addition of seeds significantly accelerates the crystallization of ZSM-22, reducing the crystallization time to only 7 hours, with stirring and with systems employing colloidal silica.

Comparing the Behavior of Reinforced Concrete Columns Embedded in Walls and Subjected to Fire

Fire is an exceptional action that may occur during the life of a ***,it must be considered when designing a building *** standards provide several types of design methods for that propose,used for single elements,parts of structure or the structure as a *** fire design of columns is important both for new project as for remodel buildings and also for verification of the residual resistance of columns that have suffered a fire *** this way,the aim of this work is to analyze numerically different ways of fire exposure to check the compressive strength of the columns when subjected to fire and the influence of the adjacent walls to a column in case of *** thermal advanced analysis of the sections columns was performed using the finite element software,Abaqus CAE,where the standard fire curve,ISO 834(International Organization for Standardization 834),was used,with 4 h of fire *** was possible,with the two methods used in this work,to compare them to verify which model is more conservative and which is closer to the advanced numerical model,for calculating temperatures in the column *** was checked that the walls act as thermal insulators,protecting part of the columns from the convection and radiation of the ***,the effects of raising the temperature over the compressive resistance of the reinforced concrete column,were reduced.
