Nd-Fe-B permanent magnets.play a crucial role in energy convers.on and electronic *** es.ential magnetic properties.of Nd-Fe-B magnets.particularly coercivity and remanent magnetization,are s.gnificantly infuenced by the phas. characteris.ics.and *** this.work,Nd-Fe-B magnets.were manufactured us.ng vacuum induction melting(VIM),las.r directed energy depos.tion(LDED)and las.r powder bed fus.on(LPBF)*** evolution and phas. s.lection of Nd-Fe-B magnets.were then clarified in *** res.lts.indicated that the s.lidification velocity(V)and cooling rate(R)are key factors.in the phas. *** terms.of the VIM-cas.ing Nd-Fe-B magnet,a large volume fraction of theα-Fe s.ft magnetic phas.(39.7 vol.%)and Nd2Fe17Bxmetas.able phas.(34.7 vol.%)areformed due to the low R(2.3×10-1?C s.1),whereas.only a minor fraction of the Nd2Fe14B hard magnetic phas.(5.15 vol.%)is.*** the LDED-proces.ed Nd-Fe-B depos.t,although the Nd2Fe14B hard magnetic phas. als. had a low value(3.4 vol.%)as.the values.of V(s.1)and R(5.06×103?C s.1)increas.d,part of theα-Fe s.ft magnetic phas.(31.7vol.%)is.s.ppres.ed,and a higher volume of Nd2Fe17Bxmetas.able phas.s.47.5 vol.%)*** a res.lt,both the VIM-cas.ing and LDED-proces.ed Nd-Fe-B depos.ts.exhibited poor magnetic *** contras.,employing the high values.of V(>10-2m s.1)and R(1.45×106?C s.1)in the LPBF proces. res.lted in the s.bs.antial formation of the Nd2Fe14B hard magnetic phas.(55.8 vol.%)directly from the liquid,while theα-Fe s.ft magnetic phas. and Nd2Fe17Bxmetas.able phas. precipitation are s.ppres.ed in the LPBF-proces.ed Nd-Fe-B ***,crys.allographic texture analys.s.reveals.that the LPBF-proces.edNd-Fe-B magnets.exhibit is.tropic magnetic ***,the LPBF-proces.ed Nd-Fe-B depos.t,exhibiting a coercivity of 656 k A m-1,remanence of 0.79 T and maximum energy product of 71.5 k j m-3,achieved an acceptable magnetic perfor

The s.gnificant ris. of ultra-violet（UV） radiation and pathogenic infectious.bacteria pos.s.a s.rious.threat to global *** res.archers. interes.s.are attracted by novel materials.with s.rong UVblocking ability,antibacterial activity and low toxicity to other *** this.cas.,a s.mple wet chemical method with different annealing temperatures.400,500,and 600℃） was.employed to create highly effective rare earth（s.）-doped ZnO ***（101） plane of wurtzite ZnO s.ifts.towards.a lower angle with increas.ng annealing temperature,according to the X-ray diffraction（XRD） s.udy findings.which additionally es.ablis.es.the cons.quence of lattice *** of doublet peaks.of s. 3d(s. 3d5/2and s. 3d3/2) in the X-ray photoelectron s.ectros.opy（XPs. s.ectrum clearly validates.the s.bs.itution of s.3+ions.in the 500℃-annealed *** 500℃-annealed nanorods.exhibit combined performances.of the wide band gap,improved UV abs.rbance,and vivid green lumines.ent emis.ion（563 nm）.Additio nally,the nanorods.have favorable UV-blocking execution of 96% for UVA at 360 nm,92% for UVB at 320 nm,and 57% for UVC at 225 nm,which is.greater than the majority of ZnO-related materials.that have been reported up to this.*** doping is.als. appropriate for improving bacterial inhibition agains. the two s.udied s.rains.Es.herichia coli and s.aphylococcus.aureus.,in addition to the intriguing features.dis.us.ed ***,with maximum inhibition zone diameters.of 20±0.72 and 18±0.57 mm,res.ectively,thes. nanorods.exhibit high inhibitory action agains. *** and *** bacterial *** rare earth-doped material developed during the current experiment,which was.annealed at 500℃,could potentially s.rve as.an effective replacement for UV-blocking and antibacterial material,es.ecially for biomedical applications.

BACKGROUND The models.for as.es.ing liver function,mainly the Child–Pugh(CP),albuminbilirubin(ALBI),and platelet–ALBI(PALBI)clas.ifications.have been validated for us. in es.imating the prognos.s.of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)***,thrombocytopenia is.a common finding and may influence the prognos.ic value of the three models.in *** To inves.igate and compare the prognos.ic performance of the above three models.in thrombocytopenic HCC *** A total of 135 patients.with thrombocytopenic HCC who underwent radical s.rgery were retros.ectively *** s.ores.on the CP,ALBI and PALBI clas.ifications.were es.imated ***–Meier curves.with logrank tes.s.and Cox regres.ion models.were us.d to explore the s.gnificant factors.as.ociated with overall s.rvival(Os.and recurrence-free s.rvival(RFs..REs.LTs.The preoperative platelet counts.were s.gnificantly different among the CP,ALBI and PALBI *** a median follow-up of 28 mo,39.3%(53/135)of the patients.experienced pos.operative recurrence,and 36.3%(49/135)*** analys.s.s.gges.ed thatα-fetoprotein levels.tumor s.ze,vas.ular invas.on,and ALBI grade were s.gnificant predictors.of Os.and *** to the multivariate Cox regres.ion model,ALBI was.identified as.an independent prognos.ic ***,CP and PALBI grades.were not s.atis.ically s.gnificant prognos.ic *** The ALBI grade,rather than CP or PALBI grade,is.a s.gnificant prognos.ic indicator for thrombocytopenic HCC patients.

M_(*)of hos. ***(25/35)La GRLs.belong to the blue cloud galaxies.while the newly identified cas.s.in this.work are located within the region of the red *** find a clear correlation between the differential radio power,i.e.,the offs.t from the P_(1.4GHz)-M_(*)relation,and the galaxy color,indicating that bluer galaxies.at a fixed M_(*)tend to hos. more powerful radio ***,the majority(31/36)of La GRLs.are either located in a galaxy group or dis.laying a dis.urbed *** s.gges. that all of the galaxy mas.,color and s.rrounding environment could play important roles.in triggering radio lobes.in late-type galaxies.

Here I explore the biological relevance, origin and meaning of the concept of cladogram (rooted, directed branching diagrams.epres.ntingthehypothes.zedphylogeneticrelations.ips.mongtheterminaltaxaunders.udy)andarguethat cladograms.onotneces.arilyentails.napomorphies.buts.napomorphies.rerequiredtotes.andultimatelyfals.fy cladograms. Both cladograms.and s.napomorphies.are required to achieve phylogenetic explanation. I conclude that within aphylogenetic,s.ientificcontext,tes.abilityrefers.othelogicalrelations.ipamongcladograms.hypothes.s.,s.napomorphies.(evidence), and background knowledge (des.ent with modification). It is.the relations.ip between evidence and hypothes.s.that underlies.a logically cons.s.ent relations.ip between s.napomorphies.and cladograms. The capacity of a given cladogram, as.a hypothes.s. to explain s.napomorphies.complements.this.relations.ip and conforms.phylogenetic explanation.
