Adverse birth outcomes are a leading cause of mortality in children in China, but the environmental influences of these conditions remain largely unexplained in this population. We aimed to evaluate the levels of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in Chinese pregnant women and their newborns, and to examine the association between levels of PAHs and infant birth weight. We conducted a cross-sectional study including 81 pairs of mothers and newborns from four hospitals in four different cities in China. High Performance Liquid Chromatography was used to measure the concentration of nine PAHs in maternal and cord blood and multiple linear regression analyses were used to evaluate the associations of these PAHs with infant birth weight. Anthracene (ANT) had the highest average concentration and detection rate (geometric mean = 69.54 ng/g and 76.5%, respectively) in maternal serum samples, while fluoranthene (FLT) had the highest concentration and detection rate (geometric mean = 68.4 ng/g and 50.6%, respectively) in the cord blood. Most of the measured PAHs in maternal serum and three PAHs in cord blood were inversely but non-significantly associated with birth weight. The strongest associations were observed for higher concentrations of benzo (a) pyrene (BaP) in maternal serum (230.7 g decrease for levels > median vs. < LOD;p = 0.151) and for ANT in cord blood (153.1 g decrease for levels < median vs. < LOD;p = 0.208). Ant and FLT were the predominant PAHs in the maternal and cord blood serum. Serum concentrations of several measured PAHs were associated with a decreased birth weight, although not significantly, suggesting that further studies with larger sample sizes are needed to validate our findings.

The robotic surgical system has been applied to various types of pancreatic surgery. However, controversies exist regarding a variety of factors including the safety, feasibility, efficacy, and cost-effectiveness of robotic surgery. This study aimed to evaluate the current status of robotic pancreatic surgery and put forth experts' consensus and recommendations to promote its development. Based on the WHO Handbook for Guideline Development, a Consensus Steering Group* and a Consensus Development Group were established to determine the topics, prepare evidence-based documents, and generate recommendations. The GRADE Grid method and Delphi vote were used to formulate the recommendations. A total of 19 topics were analyzed. The first 16 recommendations were generated by GRADE using an evidence-based method (EBM) and focused on the safety, feasibility, indication, techniques, certification of the robotic surgeon, and cost-effectiveness of robotic pancreatic surgery. The remaining three recommendations were based on literature review and expert panel opinion due to insufficient EBM results. Since the current amount of;evidence was low/meager as evaluated by the GRADE method, further randomized controlled trials (RCTs) are needed in the future to validate these recommendations.

We present candidate members of the Pal 5, GD-1, Cetus Polar and Orphan tidal stellar streams found in LAMOST DR3, SDSS DR9 and APOGEE catalogs. In LAMOST DR3, we find 20, 4 and 24 high confidence candidates of tidal streams GD-1, Cetus Polar and Orphan respectively. We also list 59, 118 and 10 high confidence candidates of tidal streams Cetus Polar, Orphan and Pal 5, respectively from the SDSS DR9 spectroscopic catalog. Furthermore, we find seven high confidence candidates of the Pal 5 tidal stream in the APOGEE data. Compared with SDSS, the new candidates from LAMOST DR3 are brighter, so that together, more of the color-magnitude diagram, including the giant branch, can be explored. Analysis of the SDSS data shows that there are three metallicity peaks associated with the Orphan stream which also exhibit some spatial separation. The LAMOST data confirm multiple metallicities in this stream. The metallicity, given by the higher resolution APOGEE instrument, of the Pal 5 tidal stream is [Fe/H] ,- -1.2, higher than that given earlier by SDSS spectra. Many previously unidentified stream members are tabulated here for the first time, along with existing members, allowing future researchers to further constrain the orbits of these objects as they move within the Galaxy＇s dark matter potential.

Background Myoglobin is expressed exclusively in striated skeletal muscles and has been implicated in nitric oxide scavenging. Accumulating data suggest a critical role for nitric oxide in both the endogenous and therapeutic angiogenic response to ischemia. A clear role for myoglobin in ischemic skeletal muscle is uncertain. We hypothesized that myoglobin overexpression has an adverse impact on the angiogenic response to ischemia. Methods Muscle-specific myoglobin over-expressing transgenic mice （MbTG, n=11）, wild type littermates （WT, n=23） underwent unilateral femoral artery ligation and excision. Laser doppler perfusion imaging was used to monitor changes in hindlimb perfusion before surgery and weekly after surgery up to 28 days. 13ssue ischemia was assessed by a necrosis incidence. Upon termination of the experiment （28 days after surgery）, skeletal muscles （gastrocnemius, and tibialis anterior） were harvested, the distal part of the muscle was frozen and embedded for histology study, the proximal part was used either to detect vascular endothelial growth factor （VEGF） level with enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays （ELISA） or to determine the proliferation （proliferating cell nuclear antigen （PCNA）） and apoptosis （Bax, and Bci-2） condition in ischemic muscle by Western blotting. Capillaries were stained with endothelial phosphate alkaline staining and vascular density was expressed in capillaries/fiber. Results The recovery of perfusion in MbTG mice was similar to that of WT mice on day 7 （0.485±0.095 vs 0.500±0.084） but was significantly less on day 14 （0.536±0.086 vs 0.623±0.077, P 〈0.05）, day 21 （0.588±0.082 vs 0.684±0.068, P 〈0.01） and day 28 （0.606±0.079 vs 0.733±0.093, P 〈0.01）. The necrosis incidence was higher in MbTG than in wr （54.5% vs 21.6%）. Vascular density was less in MbTG compared with that in WT （gastrocnemius 0.19±0.08 vs 0.30±0.08, P 〈0.05; tibialis anterior 0.22±0.11 vs 0.33±0.04, P 〈0.05）. A redox-active tetrazine moiety is immobilized within a metal-organic framework(MOF)aiming at targeted construction of a cathode with improved performance for lithium–oxygen batteries.A 1,2,4,5-tetrazine(Tz)functionalized ligand is used to construct a nanoporous MOF,Tz-Mg-MOF-74,in which the redox activity of the Tz moiety is *** the redox activity of Tz with the porous nature of a MOF produced a Tz-Mg-MOF-74-based cathode with significantly improved electrochemical ***,the material has improved sustainable capacity with a lower overpotential compared with otherwise similar batteries without Tz and other reported MOF-based *** present approach productively integrates electrochemical activity derived from redox-active moieties and MOFs,and this combination opens a new avenue for the design of effective materials for energy storage and conversion.

Objective Quercetin belongs to one of flavonoids compounds and shows a prominent neuroprotective effect both in vivo and in vitro. Plenty researches found its potent anti-oxidation mechanism and protein kinase C inhibitor in neuroprotection. Recently quercetin also is found havean antimanic-like effect through antioxidant action in Swiss mice manic model by 24 h paradoxical sleep deprivation. However, little is known about other possible neuroprotective mechanisms of quercetin, such as ion channels which is the target of protein kinase. Methods Whole cell patch clampingwas used to record the intrinsic properties of pyramidal neurons in prefrontal brain slice containing prefrontal cortex（PFC） of adult C57 BL/6 mice. The calcium imaging was also used to evaluate neural activities in brain slice with Thy1-GCa MP3 mice. Cell death was assayed by trypan blue staining. Locomotor activity was assessed using the open field test. Results（1） 50 μM Quercetin increased the rheobase for generating action potential and decreased the membrane resistance, which inhibited the neuronal firing frequency in pyramidal cells.（2） Quercetin also inhibited the GCaMP signaling changes induced by membrane depolarization with 5 m M KCl in ACSF.（3） Trypan blue staining showed that the number of dead cells in quercetin group was less than it in ACSF group.1 μM Spadin, a TREK-1 potassium channel inhibitor, could block the neuroprotective effect of quercetin by increasing the number of dead cells and membrane resistance.（4）Quercetin intraperitoneal（i.p.） injection could relieve the hyperlocomotion induced by Damphetamine in open field test. However, Sapdin and quercetin co-injection reversed the effect of quercetin on locomotion. Conclusion Quercetin could reduce the neuronal activities through inhibiting TREK-1 potassium channels, and then relieve the manic-like behavior induced by D-Amphetamine in mice. Our results provide a possible new mechanism for neuroprotection of quercetin.

目前学界对于化学种类是否为自然种类仍然存在争议,这一争议主要体现在微观结构本质主义和反微观结构本质主义的辩论中。其中,微观结构本质主义的代表之一埃利斯(brian Ellis)构建了以自然种类概念为中心的形而上学分类,认为化学元素(元素周期表)代表着自然种类的绝佳范例。此外,在探讨化学种类是否为自然种类时,最为成熟且与之紧密相关的自然种类本质主义理论以及自然种类因果理论,均倾向于将化学种类视为争议最小的自然种类候选者。然而,鉴于化学分类体系的多样性和复杂性,无论是埃利斯以自然种类概念为中心的形而上学分类,还是自然种类本质主义和自然种类因果理论,都无法有效地说明所有化学种类。

采用商业计算软件CFD-Fastran,数值模拟了高超声速一体化飞行器在真实飞行以及风洞实验来流条件下的流场,通过对壁面压力与摩擦力进行积分,得到全机的阻力系数、升力系数以及俯仰力矩系数。对不同来流条件以及模型缩比尺度的气动数据相关性进行研究,其中风洞来流条件的马赫数与静压与真实飞行条件相同,但总焓以及模型尺度不同。数值模拟结果揭示了风洞来流条件以及模型缩比尺度对飞行器整体气动性能的影响,表明发动机内流道摩阻系数计算结果的不同是发动机通流状态下全尺寸模型与缩比模型的阻力系数不同的主要原因。该结果为风洞实验数据的修正提供了参考。
