This article deals with a linear classical approach for the robust output reference trajectory tracking control of nonlinear SISO Lagrangian systems with a controllable(fAat)tangent linearization around an operating equilibrium *** endogenous injections and exogenous feedback(EIEF)approach is proposed,which is naturally equivalent to the generalized propor-tional integral control method and to a robust classical compensation *** is shown that the EIEF controller is also equivalent,within a frequency domain setting demanding respect for the separation principle,to the reduced order observer based active disturbance rejection control *** proposed linear control approach is robust with respect to total dis-turbances and,thus,it is ffective for the linear control of the nonlinear Lagrangian *** ilustrative nonlinear rotary crane Lagrangian system example,which is non-feedback linearizable,is presented along with digital computer simulations.

The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of sex and dietary lecithin on growth performance,meat quality, muscle col.agen content and gene expression of key genes involved in col.agen synthesis in finisher pigs.A total of 256 pigs(Large White × Landrace) were allotted to a 2 × 2 factorial arrangement involving sex(gilt or immunocastrated [IC] male) and dietary treatment(0 or 5 g/kg of dietary lecithin).All diets were formulated to contain 4.6% tallow with relatively high total fat of 6.3%.After 5 weeks of dietary treatment, pigs were slaughtered and Longissimus dorsi muscle was obtained for evaluation of meat quality and col.agen *** abdominis muscle was analysed for gene expression of key genes involved in col.agen synthesis namely, type Ⅰ(a1) procol.agen(col.A1), type Ⅲ(a1) procol.agen(col.A1), a-subunit of prolyl 4-hydroxylase(P4H), lysyl oxidase and metalloproteinase-1(MMP-1).The results showed that lecithin improved feed efficiency of all pigs(P 0.05).Lecithin also had no effect on meat compression, shear force, col.agen content and gene expression(P > 0.05).Immunocastrated male had higher growth rate and increased col. A1 expression than ***, sex had no effect on fat depth at the P2 site(65 mm from the midline over the last rib), col.agen content and expression of other genes(P > 0.05).In conclusion, lecithin improved feed efficiency in finishing pigs without impacting pork ***, inclusion of lecithin in diets containing high amount of tallow during the summer period could be beneficial.

Background： Indigestible markers are commonly utilized in digestion studies, but the complete disappearance or maximum appearance of a marker in feces can be affected by diet composition, feed intake, or an animal＇s *** objectives of this study were to determine the impact of previous（Phase 1, P1） and current-（Phase 2, P2）diet composition on marker disappearance（Cr） and appearance（Ti） in pigs fed 3 diets differing in NDF ***： When pigs were maintained on the 25.1, 72.5, and 125.0 g/kg NDF diets, it took 5.1, 4.1, and 2.5 d, respectively,for Cr levels to decrease below the limit of quantitation; or 4.6, 3.7, or 2.8 d, respectively, for Ti to be maximized. These effects were not, however, independent of the previous diet as indicated by the interaction between P1 and P2 diets on fecal marker concentrations（P 〈 0.01）. When dietary NDF increased from P1 to P2, it took less time for fecal Cr to decrease or fecal Ti to be maximized（an average of 2.5 d）, than if NDF decreased from P1 to P2 where it took longer for fecal Cr to decrease or fecal Ti to be maximized（an average of 3.4 d）.Conclusions： Because of the wide range in excretion times reported in the literature and improved laboratory methods for elemental detection, the data suggests that caution must be taken in considering dietary fiber concentrations of the past and currently fed diets so that no previous dietary marker addition remains in the digestive tract or feces such that a smal amount of maker is present to confound subsequent experimental results, and that marker concentration have stabilized when these samples are col.ected.

Impact of the adherence to medical treatment on the main urinary metabolic disorders in patients with kidney stones

Objective:To assess the effect of the adherence to medical treatment on urinary parameters in the 24-h metabolic study of patients with kidney ***:A retrospective,longitudinal,descriptive,and observational study was carried out by reviewing the hospital electronic medical record from 2014 to *** adherence to drug treatment was measured 6 months after its initiation,and the numerical values of the metabolic studies were *** tests were performed to compare the difference before and after ***:Ninety patients were evaluated,with 73.3% of *** 180-day overall adherence rate was 61.2% in patients treated with a single drug and 85.4% in patients treated with multiple *** is a statistically significant increase in citrate levels in patients with good adherence in comparison with non-adherent patients(p=0.031 vs.p=0.528).Conclusions:Medical treatment and dietary measures in patients with kidney stones have an initial impact at 6 months on the values of the main urinary metabolic alterations that predispose to calculi formation;the most significant is seen in those patients with adherence to medical treatment for hypocitraturia.

目的:通过观察坐骨神经慢性压迫性损伤大鼠脊髓神经元型一氧化氮合酶(nNOS)蛋白及其mRNA表达的变化和电针对其的影响,探讨电针干预神经病理性痛的脊髓一氧化氮机制。方法:雄性SD大鼠,随机分为3组(n=12):假手术组仅分离坐骨神经,但不进行结扎;模型组采用坐骨神经慢性压迫性损伤(CCI)法制备神经病理性痛模型;电针组于CCI术后11～17d时应用韩氏穴位神经刺激仪进行损伤侧"委中"穴与"环跳"穴电针干预,刺激频率2Hz,波宽0.6ms,起始电流强度1mA,每10min递增1mA,刺激时间30min,1次/d。于CCI前(基础状态),CCI后10、16d时测定机械痛阈和热痛阈。CCI后17d时各组随机取6只大鼠采用Western blot法测定脊髓nNOS蛋白的表达;另取6只大鼠采用逆转录(RT)-聚合酶链反应(PCR)法测定脊髓nNOS mRNA的表达。结果:CCI后10d,与基础值比较,模型组和电针组机械痛阈和热痛阈降低(P<0.01);与CCI后10d比较,电针组CCI后16d时机械痛阈和热痛阈均升高(P<0.01)。与假手术组比较,模型组机械痛阈和热痛阈降低(P<0.01),脊髓nNOS蛋白及其mRNA表达均上调(P<0.05,P<0.01);与模型组比较,电针组CCI后16d时机械痛阈和热痛阈升高(P<0.01),脊髓nNOS蛋白及其mRNA表达均下调(P<0.05)。结论:电针减轻大鼠神经病理性痛的机制可能与有效地抑制脊髓nNOS的活性有关。

Approximately 13% of the population over the age of 65 years is estimated to have AD. The total number of cases is expected to increase over the coming decades. The apolipoprotein E (ApoE) genotype is the greatest genetic deter-minant for Alzheimer's disease (AD) development. The ApoE4 allele increases the risk of AD by 4 to 14 fold while the ApoE2 allele has an opposing effect;decreasing risk. Indeed many studies have demonstrated that carriers of the ApoE2 allele are associated with greater likelihood of survival to advanced age, superior verbal learning ability in advanced age, and reduced accumulation of amyloid pathology in the aged brain. In addition, it is known that ApoE proteins have different affinities for the low-density lipoprotein receptor (LDLR), with ApoE2 having the weakest binding to the LDL receptor at < 2% relative to ApoE3 and E4. Because ApoE2 has shown protective effects in re-gard to AD, a novel approach for ApoE4 carriers may be to create a peptide antagonist that blocks the ApoE inter-actions with LDLR at its 135-150 N-terminal binding domain. This peptide may create a more ApoE2-like structure by decreasing the affinity of ApoE4 for LDLR thereby reducing AD onset, memory impairment, and amyloid plaque formation. In this review, we will discuss the different detrimental effects that ApoE4 can cause. Most importantly, we will review how ApoE4 binding to LDLR promotes AD pathogenesis and how blocking ApoE4 binding may be a promising novel therapeutic approach for AD.

FAO （Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations） declared that 12% of the world＇s population is undernourished while in Mexico the number is around 5%. Minerals are essential for the daily diet; iron （Fe） is an important mineral on human welfare because it has a main role on the function of the immune and central nervous systems, among others. Most Mexicans fulfill their iron requirements from vegetables, which are poorly absorbed; nevertheless, in coastal populations, where seafood-rich in ironis available, it is not consumed on a regular diet. The aim of this work was to analyze minerals, focusing on the iron content of Octopus hubbsorum B （Cephalopoda： Octopodidae）, an animal of the Mexican Pacific coast. Three specimens were analyzed, two from the north and one from central Pacific Ocean. Data obtained for the central Pacific Octopus was 0.008% and data for the North Pacific were 0.008% and 0.011%, repectively. In conclusion, the supply of iron for the Mexican diet provided by Octopus hubbsorum B is significant, therefore is recommended to consume more of this resource, to diminish iron deficiency, a world-wide problem, and to improve human health.

Last summer, my wife and I returned to the small city of Huzhou in east China＇s Zhejiang Province for the first time in three years. At the end of our stay. we visited a Buddhist temple atop a small hill near the col.ege where I＇d taught.
