Excessive alcohol consumption(≥15 drinks per week)causes chronic diseases and multiple other health ***,alcohol beverages have been used as a vital medicine ingredient in various cultures since ancient times.A wealth of epidemiological and experimental research has shown that light-moderate alcohol consumption,regardless of beverage type,is associated with reducing cardiovascular incidence and mortality *** to the disparities in raw materials,fermentation techniques,production environment,etc.,alcoholic beverages tend to possess different non-ethanol component profiles,thus resulting in varying degrees of health ***,bioactive compounds in alcohol are continuously discovered as well as the mechanisms underlying their cardioprotective contributions at a molecular *** article elucidates the epidemiology of moderate alcohol consumption and various cardiovascular conditions,along with the limitations and controversies of current *** addition,protective effects and putative mechanisms of both ethanol and non-ethanol components of wine,beer,and Chinese Baijiu,the three most representative alcoholic beverages worldwide,are to be evaluated within the context of a rational drinking pattern.

Unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs) enable flexible networking functions in emergency ***,due to the movement characteristic of ground users(GUs),it is challenging to capture the interactions among ***,we propose a learningbased dynamic connectivity maintenance architecture to reduce the delay for the UAV-assisted device-todevice(D2D) multicast *** this paper,each UAV transmits information to a selected GU,and then other GUs receive the information in a multi-hop *** minimize the total delay while ensuring that all GUs receive the information,we decouple it into three subproblems according to the time division on the topology:For the cluster-head selection,we adopt the Whale Optimization Algorithm(WOA) to imitate the hunting behavior of whales by abstracting the UAVs and cluster-heads into whales and preys,respectively;For the D2D multi-hop link establishment,we make the best of social relationships between GUs,and propose a node mapping algorithm based on the balanced spanning tree(BST) with reconfiguration to minimize the number of hops;For the dynamic connectivity maintenance,Restricted Q-learning(RQL) is utilized to learn the optimal multicast ***,the simulation results show that our proposed algorithms perfor better than other benchmark algorithms in the dynamic scenario.

Indole is a promising heteroarene in many natural products and pharmaceuticals;therefore, various synthetic methods for indole functionalizations have arisen in recent years. Herein, we report a Pd-catalyzed deoxygenative coupling for the N-vinylation of indoles by employing vinyl ethers. The vinylated indoles could be readily prepared in good to excellent yields with N1-regioselectivity regardless of the electronic characteristics and substitution patterns of indole substrates. Some indole-based pharmaceutical molecules, such as gramine, evodiamine, rutaecarpine, and melatonine, are also successfully vinylated. Moreover, carbazoles and indazoles are shown to participate. Additionally, vinylated indole can readily transform into structurally interesting indole derivatives.

The structure, magnetization, and magnetostriction of Sm0.9Pr0.1Fex and Sm1-xNdxFel.9 thin films have been investigated using X-ray diffraction, vibrating sample magnetometer, and optical cantilever method. It is found that the structure of Sm0.9Pr0.1Fex thin films consists of an Sm-Pr-Fe amorphous phase when x≤2.69 and that of Sm1-xNdxFel.9 thin films consists of an Sm-Nd-Fe amorphous phase. The in-plane magnetization of Sm0.91Pr0.1Fex thin films increases with increase in the Fe content, and low values of the in-plane coercivity occur in the range of 1.62≤ x≤ 2.28. The magnetostriction value of Sm0.91Pr0.1Fex thin films increases with increasing the Fe content when x ≤ 1.94 and decreases when x 〉 1.94. The in-plane magnetostriction of Sm1-xNdxFe1.9 thin films under low magnetic fields has been improved by the substitution of Nd for Sm when x = 0.2.

Hoek-Brown (HB) failure criterion is widely used to predict the strength of intact or heavily jointed rock mass. For stability analysis of rock slopes governed by the HB failure criterion, the equivalent linearity to Mohr-Coulomb (MC) criterion is often adopted, leading to the well-known equivalent Mohr-Coulomb method (EMCM). Existing studies on EMCM analysis mainly consider the shear strength of rock material, while consideration of the tensile strength is rare. This contradicts the fact that the underlying tensile strength of rock mass has considerable impact on the rock slope stability in real world. In this regard, this paper proposes a limit analysis-based approach that can account for tension in the three-dimensional (3D) stability analysis of HB rock slope. This approach is established on the equivalent linearity of the HB criterion with consideration of tensile strength, known as the equivalent tension cut-off MC method (ETMCM), and using a horn-like 3D mechanism of limit analysis. The safety factor solutions given by the proposed approach are validated by previous studies and numerical results. Parametric studies are conducted to investigate the effect of rock tensile strength on slope stability. Results show that the consideration of tension leads to a more conservative safety factor and a sharper curvature of the failure surface, and these impacts tend to be more obvious with the increases in slope inclination and slope width. Finally, the stability of the HB rock slope under seepage conditions is studied using the proposed approach. The results indicate that the effect of tensile strength is highly remarkable in seepage circumstances.

Two-dimensional(2D) van der Waals(vdW) materials have extraordinary thermal properties due to the effect of quantum confinement, making them promising for thermoelectric energy conversion and thermal management in microelectronic *** this review, the mechanism of phonon anharmonicity originating from three-and four-phonon interactions is derived. The phonon anharmonicity of 2D vdW materials, involving the Grüneisen parameter, phonon lifetime, and thermal conductivity, is summarized and derived in detail. The size-dependent thermal conductivity of representative 2D vdW materials is discussed experimentally and theoretically. This review will present fundamental and advanced knowledge on how to evaluate the phonon anharmonicity in 2D vdW materials, which will aid the design of new structures and materials for applications related to energy transfer and conversion.
