Rural-urban development project in an ejidal community (portion of common land several owners) is located in the suburban area of Xalapa, Veracruz, *** place where the community is located has a lagoon that was contaminated with water lily. now we want to implement a suburban sustainable development project using ecological and appropriate technologies to the community and the place, taking advantage of that body of water to grow fish and as a recreational area for visitors and thus generating food and economic resources in favor of the community with the food sales, boat rentals and recreational *** project adds to the achievement of 12 of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United nations Organization.

This study investigates the influence of electropolymerization conditions on the deposition of polypyrrole(PPy)onto cotton-derived carbon fiber(CF)modified with reduced graphene oxide(rGO)for supercapacitors applications using an experimental/theorical *** surface modification of CF by rGO and/or by PPy electrodeposited at 10,25 and 50 mV s^(-1) was thoroughly examined physicochemical and *** electrodes comprising CF-rGo-PPy,synthesized via electropolymerization at 25 mV s^(-1),demonstrated a remarkable increase in capacitance,showcasing~742 F g^(-1) compared to 153 F g^(-1) for ***,n_(2)-surface area,XPS,and TD-DFT approach revealed that the higher capacitance observed in CF-rGo-PPy electrodes underscores the influence of morphology and charged nitrogen species on the electrochemical performance of these modified ***,this electrode material achieves a specific capacitance retention of~96%of their initial capacitance after 10000 cycles at 0.5 A g^(-1) measured in a two-electrodes cell *** work also discusses the influence of the scan rate used for pyrrole electropolymerization on the pseudocapacitance contribution of PPy and its possible effect on the porosity of the *** results highlight the importance of appropriate electropolymerization conditions that allow obtaining the synergistic effect between CF,rGO and PPy.

Immunohistopathology of the contralateral testis of rats undergoing experimental torsion of the spermatic cord

Aim： To evaluate the immunohistopathological changes in the contralateral testis of rats after an experimental spermatic cord torsion. Methods： Male Sprague-Dawley rats of 45-50 days old were subjected to a 720° unilateral spermatic cord torsion for 10, 30 and 80 days （experimental group, E）, respectively or sham operation （control group, C）. Histopathology of the contralateral testis as well as germ cell apoptosis were studied using the Terminal Deoxynucleotidyl Transferase Biotin-dUTP nick End Labeling （TUnEL） technique. The number of testicular lymphocytes, mast cells and macrophages, and the expression of tumor necrosis factor-α （TnF-α） and its receptor （TnFR1） in testicular cells of the contralateral testis were quantified by histochemistry and immunohistochemistry. TnF-α concentration in testicular fluid was determined by ELISA. Results： In the contralateral testis of rats from the E group, the maximal degree of damage of the germinal epithelium was seen 30 days after torsion. At this time we observed in the E group vs. the C group increases：（i） the number of testicular T-lymphocytes; （ii） the number of testicular mast cells and macrophages; （iii） the percentage of macrophages expressing TnF-α; （iv） TnF-α concentration in testicular fluid; （v） the number of apoptotic germ cells; and （vi） the number of TnFR1^＋ germ cells. Conclusion： Experimental spermatic cord torsion induces, in the contralateral testis, a focal damage of seminiferous tubules characterized by apoptosis and sloughing of germ cells. Results suggest humoral and cellular immune mediated testicular cell damage in which macrophages and mast cells seem to be involved in the induction of germ cell apoptosis through the TnF-α/TnFR1 system and in the modulation of the inflammatory process.

Diffusive modelling of glioma evolution: a review

Gliomas, the most aggressive form of brain cancer, are known for their widespread invasion into the tissue near the tumor lesion. Exponential models, which have been widely used in other types of cancers, cannot be used for the simulation of tumor growth, due to the diffusive behavior of glioma. Diffusive models that have been proposed in the last two decades seem to better approximate the expansion of gliomas. This paper covers the history of glioma diffusive modelling, starting from the simplified initial model in 90s and describing how this have been enriched to take into account heterogenous brain tissue, anisotropic migration of glioma cells and adjustable proliferation rates. Especially, adjustable proliferation rates are very important for modelling therapy plans and personalising therapy to different patients.

The aim of this work is to investigate the field of gasification of aqueous biomass in supercritical water. In order to achieve this analysis, a mathematical model（based on thermodynamical equilibrium assumption） is built. This model allows not only for the computation of the solid, liquid and gas phases produced in a process composed of a gasification reactor and a separator unit, but also, for the computation of the energy requirements or yield in these specific units. The composition of these three phases is computed in terms of fractions of CH4, H2, H2 O, CO, CO2, H2 S, nH3, C6H5 OH, CH3 COOH, CH3 CHO, C（s） and minerals. The model also predicts the lower heating value of the gas leaving the process. The main problem that is encountered in the derivation of this mathematical model is the estimation of the activities of the chemical species present in the mixture as well as the enthalpy of this mixture. In this work, these evaluations are performed using Peng-Robinson equation of state. Results of the model are presented in the frame of gasification of vinasse which is an aqueous residue from the alcohol production industry. It is shown that some specific conditions exist where it is not necessary to yield energy to the reactor to convert the incoming biomass into a gas for which the lower heating value can reach 5MJ/kg with a gasification efficiency of 85%.
