Electroacupuncture with different waveforms for primary dysmenorrhea:A randomized controlled trial

Objective To observe and compare the clinical effects of different electroacupuncture waveforms on primary *** This was a prospective,randomized,three-group,parallel-controlled *** with primary dysmenorrhea were randomly divided into dense-sparse wave,continuous wave,and discontinuous wave groups in a 1:1:1 *** lateral Ciliao(BL 32)points were *** three groups started treatment 3–5 days before menstruation,once a day for six sessions per course of treatment,one course of treatment per menstrual cycle,and three menstrual *** primary outcome measure was the proportion with an average visual analog scale(VAS)score reduction of≥50%from baseline for dysmenorrhea in the third menstrual cycle during *** secondary outcome measures included changes in dysmenorrhea VAS scores,Cox Menstrual Symptom Scale scores and the proportion of patients taking analgesic *** The proportion of cases where the average VAS score for dysmenorrhea decreased by≥50%from baseline in the third menstrual cycle was not statistically significant(P>.05).Precisely 30 min after acupuncture and regarding immediate analgesia on the most severe day of dysmenorrhea,there was a statistically significant difference in the dense-sparse wave group compared with the other two groups during the third menstrual cycle(P<.05).Additionally,there was a statistically significant difference between the dense-sparse wave and discontinuous wave groups 24 h after acupuncture(P<.05).Conclusions Waveform electroacupuncture can alleviate primary dysmenorrhea and its related symptoms in *** three groups showed similar results in terms of short-and long-term analgesic efficacy and a reduction in the number of patients taking analgesic *** achieving immediate analgesia,the dense-sparse wave group was slightly better than the other two groups.

This study investigates the activity of tropical cyclones(TCs)in the Bay of Bengal(bob)from 1979 to 2018 to discover the mechanism affecting the contribution rate to the meridional moisture budget anomaly(MMBA)over the southern boundary of the Tibetan Plateau(SBTP).May and October–December are the bimodal phases of bob TC frequency,which decreases month by month from October to December and is relatively low in ***,the contribution rate to the MMBA is the highest in *** seasonal variation in the meridional position of the westerlies is the key factor affecting the contribution *** relatively southern(northern)position of the westerlies in November and December(May)results in a lower(higher)contribution rate to the *** mechanism is confirmed by the momentum *** water vapor enters the westerlies near the trough line,the resultant meridional acceleration is directed *** follows that the farther north the trough is,and the farther north the water vapor can be *** water vapor enters the westerlies from the area near the ridge line,for Type-T(Type-R)TCs,water vapor enters the westerlies downstream of the trough(ridge).Consequently,the direction of the resultant meridional acceleration is directed south and the resultant zonal acceleration is directed east(west),which is not conducive to the northward transport of water *** is especially the case if the trough or ridge is relatively south,as the water vapor may not cross the SBTP.

Background: Testicular atrophy is recurrent after orchidopexy for intra-abdominal cryptorchidism due to damage to vessels. Fowlers-Stephens and Shehata methods proposed staged orchidopexy, but are still associated to a rate of atrophy greater than 10%. Purpose: We set out to present a new technique that preserves testicular vessels. Our study is aimed at investigating testicular vitality after surgery. Patients and Method: We reviewed files of boys who underwent orchidopexy for 2 years in our department. Those who have been operated for intra-abdominal cryptorchidism with the new technique and aged between 6 months and 14 years old were included in our study. We excluded boys who have been operated before 6 months and after 14 years old and those who did not respect their follow-up plane. Ultrasound (US) outcomes were used to measure testicular volumes and blood flow at each postoperative visit. The Sample population was divided into group A and group B representing testes that were followed respectively for 12 and 24 months. Results: 22 boys with 25 testes were included in our study;11 testes in group A and 14 testes in group B. In each group, we noted a significant difference of UDT volumes from the third month after surgery with respective P-values 0.05. There was no statistical difference between UDT and contra lateral testes volumes 12 months after surgery in group A and 24 months in group B with respective P-values of 0.07 and 0.72. All volume differential indexes were Conclusion: This method offers a new perspective in performing safe orchidopexy for intra abdominal undescended testes.

半导体光催化技术为太阳能的高效利用提供了巨大的潜力.尽管众多单一半导体材料,如TiO_(2),CdS,g-C_(3)N_(4)等,已被广泛制备并用于光催化反应,但在单一光催化剂中,光生电子和空穴常因强库仑引力作用而迅速复合,导致光催化效率较低,难以实现大规模产业化应用.针对这一问题,开发S型异质结光催化剂成为提高催化效率的有效途径之一.该异质结不仅能实现氧化还原位点在空间上的有效分离,同时保持了较强的氧化还原能力.然而,目前关于空间分离对光催化氧化产物选择性的影响研究较少.因此,深入探究S型异质结光催化剂中空间分离对产物选择性的作用机制,对于优化光催化过程、提高产物选择性具有重要意义.本文构建了具有良好暴露活性位点的2D/2D层状BiOBr/ZnIn_(2)S_(4)S型异质结(bob/ZIS).实验发现,在纯ZnIn_(2)S_(4)体系中,由于无法实现空间上的有效电荷分离,氧还原反应(ORR)生成的H_(2)O_(2)在光生空穴的作用下进一步转化为•OH(羟基自由基),其氧化能力超过了体系中的光生空穴,导致2,5-呋喃二甲醛被过度氧化为经济性不高的产物呋喃二甲酸.在bob/ZIS异质结中,我们实现了光生电子-空穴的有效转移和丰富的活性中心利用.ZnIn_(2)S_(4)价带上的电子通过ORR持续生成H_(2)O_(2)(1.15 mmol∙L^(-1),5 h),而BiOBr导带上的空穴则将5-羟甲基糠醛(HMF)氧化为具有高经济价值的2,5-呋喃二甲醛(有机合成中有价值的中间体).这一结果证实了S型异质结中光生电子-空穴的有效空间分离能够同时促进H_(2)O_(2)的产生和HMF的选择性氧化为2,5-呋喃二甲醛.这一发现不仅揭示了S型异质结在光催化反应中的优势,还证实了其相对于传统牺牲剂的经济可行性.原位光照X射线光电子能谱、飞秒超快瞬态吸收光谱和密度泛函理论计算均证实,在bob/ZIS界面之间构建了S型电荷转移机制,加速了光生电子-空穴对的转移动力学.此外,通过原位傅里叶变换红外光谱研究了催化剂表面HMF氧化过程中官能团的变化,不仅加深了对纯ZnIn_(2)S_(4)体系中HMF过度氧化现象的认识,还揭示了S型异质结在选择性氧化HMF和原位生成H_(2)O_(2)中的独特光催化机制.综上所述,本文构建了2D/2D层状BiOBr/ZnIn_(2)S_(4)S型异质结,不仅实现了光生电子-空穴的有效空间分离,还提高了产物选择性和光催化效率.本文通过深入研究S型异质结在光催化反应中的作用机制,为调控光催化产物提供了新的见解,并为有机合成相关反应中S型异质结的设计提供了借鉴.

Cyclic Remote Implementation of Partially Unknown Quantum Operations

We present a novel scheme of Cyclic remote implementation of partially unknown quantum operations(CRIPUQO) via a six-qubit entangled state as the quantum channel. Alice can remotely apply a partially unknown quantum operation Ud(d = 0, 1) to bob’s qubit b, and bob can remotely apply Udto Charlie’s site; meanwhile, Charlie can also remotely apply Udto Alice’s qubit c. It is pointed out that the CRIPUQO in the opposite direction can be perfectly achieved by changing the quantum channel. The scheme above is also generalized to systems having N observers, so that the CRIPUQO can be realized in quantum information networks with N observers in different directions by changing quantum channels.

A Validated Enantioselective Assay for the Determination of Ibuprofen in Human Plasma Using Ultra Performance Liquid Chromatography with Tandem Mass Spectrometry (UPLC-MS/MS)

A modified ultra performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC-MS/MS) method was developed and validated for the quantitation of ibuprofen enantiomers in human plasma. Ibuprofen and flurbiprofen (internal standard) were extracted from human plasma at acidic pH, using a single-step liquid-liquid extraction with methyl-tert-butyl ether. The enantiomers of ibuprofen and flurbiprofen were derivatized to yield the corresponding diastereomers. Chromatographic separation was achieved using a phenyl column with a run time of 20 min. (R)- and (S)-ibuprofen were quantitated at the multiple reaction monitoring (MRM) transition of m/z 360.2 ? 232.1, and (R)- and (S)-flurbiprofen were monitored at the MRM transition of m/z 398.3 ? 270.1. The method was validated for accuracy, precision, linearity, range, limit of quantitation (LOQ), limit of detection (LOD), selectivity, absolute recovery, matrix effect, dilution integrity, and evaluation of carry-over. Accuracy for (R)-ibuprofen ranged between –11.8% and 11.2%, and for (S)-ibuprofen between –8.6% and –0.3%. Precision for (R)-ibuprofen was ≤ 11.2%, and for (S)-ibuprofen ≤ 7.0%. The calibration curves were weighted (1/X2, n = 7) and were linear with r2 for (R)-ibuprofen ≥ 0.988 and for (S)-ibuprofen ≥ 0.990. The range of the method was 50 to 5000 ng/mL with the LOQ of 50 ng/mL, and LOD of 1 ng/mL, for (R)- and (S)-ibuprofen requiring 100 μL of sample. The method was applied successfully to a pharmacokinetic study with the administration of a single oral dose of ibuprofen capsules to human subjects.
