This paper explores the application of Model Predictive Control(MPC)to enhance safety and efficiency in autonomous vehicle(AV)navigation through optimized path *** evolution of AV technology has progressed rapidly,moving from basic driver-assistance systems(Level 1)to fully autonomous capabilities(Level 5).Central to this advancement are two key functionalities:Lane-Change Maneuvers(LCM)and Adaptive Cruise Control(ACC).In this study,a detailed simulation environment is created to replicate the road network between Nantun andWuri on National Freeway No.1 in *** MPC controller is deployed to optimize vehicle trajectories,ensuring safe and efficient *** onboard sensors,including vehicle cameras and millimeterwave radar,are used to detect and respond to dynamic changes in the surrounding environment,enabling real-time decision-making for LCM and *** simulation resultshighlight the superiority of the MPC-based approach in maintaining safe distances,executing controlled lane changes,and optimizing fuel ***,the MPC controller effectively manages collision avoidance,reduces travel time,and contributes to smoother traffic flow compared to traditional path planning *** findings underscore the potential of MPC to enhance the reliability and safety of autonomous driving in complex traffic *** research will focus on validating these results through real-world testing,addressing computational challenges for real-time implementation,and exploring the adaptability of MPC under various environmental *** study provides a significant step towards achieving safer and more efficient autonomous vehicle navigation,paving the way for broader adoption of MPC in AV systems.

Erlotinib as a salvage treatment for patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer after failure of gefitinib treatment

Background Several clinical trials showed that erlotinib was effective after the failure of gefitinib in advanced non-small cell lung cancer （NSCLC）. The aim of this study was to evaluate the feasibility of erlotinib treatment after the failure of gefitinib based on the data from our hospital. Methods The clinical data of 20 patients with advanced NSCLC who were admitted to Shanghai Chest Hospital from August 2007 to December 2008 were retrospectively analyzed. All of the patients were given erlotinib treatment after the failure of gefitinib. Survival analysis was made by Kaplan-Meier method. The Cox regression model was performed to analyze the relationship between the influential factors and the erlotinib progression-free survival （PFS）. Results Five patients had a partial response （PR）, nine patients had stable disease （SD） and six patients had progressive disease （PD） with gefitinib treatment. The median PFS was 277 days （95% CI 0-566）. No patient had a PR, seven had SD and fourteen PD with the erlotinib therapy. The median PFS was 31 days （95% CI 9.1-52.9）. The response rate （RR） was 0, and the disease control rate （DCR） was 35% （7/20）. Cox regression analysis demonstrated that sex （P=0.96）, age （P=0.89）, smoking history （P=0.78）, performance status （PS）（P=0.98）, gefitinib efficacy （P=-0.90） and whether chemotherapy was applied between using the two drugs （P=-0.45） had no significant correlation with erlotinib PFS. Fifteen patients had epidermal growth factor receptor （EGFR） mutation status determined. There were five cases got SD with the erlotinib treatment in ten mutation negative （wild-type） patients. No SD was recorded in the five mutation positive patients. Conclusions The efficacy of erlotinib treatment after gefitinib failure was limited. However, the patients who are EGFR mutation negative can probably benefit from erlotinib treatment after gefitinib failure.

Deep oil and gas reservoirs are under high-temperature conditions, but traditional coring methods do not consider temperature-preserved measures and ignore the influence of temperature on rock porosity and permeability, resulting in distorted resource assessments. The development of in situ temperaturepreserved coring(ITP-Coring) technology for deep reservoir rock is urgent, and thermal insulation materials are key. Therefore, hollow glass microsphere/epoxy resin thermal insulation materials(HGM/EP materials) were proposed as thermal insulation materials. The materials properties under coupled hightemperature and high-pressure(HTHP) conditions were tested. The results indicated that high pressures led to HGM destruction and that the materials water absorption significantly increased; additionally,increasing temperature accelerated the process. High temperatures directly caused the thermal conductivity of the materials to increase; additionally, the thermal conduction and convection of water caused by high pressures led to an exponential increase in the thermal conductivity. High temperatures weakened the matrix, and high pressures destroyed the HGM, which resulted in a decrease in the tensile mechanical properties of the materials. The materials entered the high elastic state at 150.C, and the mechanical properties were weakened more obviously, while the pressure led to a significant effect when the water absorption was above 10%. Meanwhile, the tensile strength/strain were 13.62 MPa/1.3%and 6.09 MPa/0.86% at 100.C and 100 MPa, respectively, which meet the application requirements of the self-designed coring device. Finally, K46-f40 and K46-f50 HGM/EP materials were proven to be suitable for ITP-Coring under coupled conditions below 100.C and 100 MPa. BACKGROUND Circular RNAs(circRNAs)are involved in the pathogenesis of many diseases through competing endogenous RNA(ceRNA)regulatory *** To investigate a circRNA-related ceRNA regulatory network and a new predictive model by circRNA to understand the diagnostic mechanism of circRNAs in ulcerative colitis(UC).METHODS We obtained gene expression profiles of circRNAs,miRNAs,and mRNAs in UC from the Gene Expression Omnibus *** circRNA-miRNA-mRNA network was constructed based on circRNA-miRNA and miRNA-mRNA *** enrichment analysis was performed to identify the biological mechanisms involved in *** identified the most relevant differential circRNAs for diagnosing UC and constructed a new predictive nomogram,whose efficacy was tested with the C-index,receiver operating characteristic curve(ROC),and decision curve analysis(DCA).RESULTS A circRNA-miRNA-mRNA regulatory network was obtained,containing 12 circRNAs,three miRNAs,and 38 *** optimal prognostic-related differentially expressed circRNAs,hsa_circ_0085323 and hsa_circ_0036906,were included to construct a predictive *** model showed good discrimination,with a C-index of 1(>0.9,high accuracy).ROC and DCA suggested that the nomogram had a beneficial diagnostic *** This novel predictive nomogram incorporating hsa_circ_0085323 and hsa_circ_0036906 can be conveniently used to predict the risk of *** circRNa-miRNA-mRNA network in UC could be more clinically significant.
