Motion characteristics and density separation of fine coal in an inflatable-inclined liquid-solid fluidized bed

To improve the adaptability of fluidized beds for fine coal separation,a new type of liquid-solid fluidized bed was constructed,i.e.,the inflatable-inclined liquid-solid fluidized bed(IILSFB).A combination of simulation analysis and separation experiments was used to analyze the fluidization characteristics and separation performance of the *** results showed that there was upflow and downflow in the fluidized *** upflow was mainly composed of water flow,followed by light and heavy particles;on the other hand,the downflow was caused by the backflow of heavy particles that settled at the inclined *** addition,the light particles that settled at the inclined section could return to the rising water flow under the action of secondary *** the water velocity,separation time,and secondary gas velocity increased,the comprehensive separation efficiency of fine coal in the fluidized bed improved,while the value decreased as the feed quantity *** also indicated the order of importance for these four factors,i.e.,water velocity,separation time,feed quantity,and secondary gas velocity,on ***,the comprehensive separation efficiency of 0.1-1 mm fine coal varied significantly with various factors,while that of∼0.1 mm and 1-3 mm fine coal was always at a low *** the latter case,the classification process of the size fraction was significantly better than the separation process in the fluidized *** optimal working conditions,an IILSFB was used to separate the fine coal(0.1-1 mm).The yield of clean coal was 37.95% with an ash content of 12.11%,and the possible error was 0.085 g/cm^(3),indicating that the IILSFB had good separation performance for 0.1-1 mm fine coal.

Due to the increasing interests in using functionally graded piezoelectric materials(FGPMs) in the design of advanced micro-electro-mechanical systems, it is important to understand the stability behaviors of the FGPM beams. In this study, considering the effects of geometrical nonlinearity, temperature, and electricity in the constitutive relations and the effect of the magnetic field on the FGPM beam, the Euler-Bernoulli beam model is adopted, and the nonlinear governing equation of motion is derived via Hamilton's principle. A perturbation method, which can decompose the deflection into static and dynamic components, is utilized to linearize the nonlinear governing equation. Then,a dynamic stability analysis is carried out, and the approximate analytical solutions for the nonlinear frequency and boundary frequencies of the unstable region are *** examples are performed to verify the present analysis. The effects of the static deflection, the static load factor, the temperature change, and the magnetic field flux on the stability behaviors of the FGPM beam are discussed. From the proposed analytical solutions and numerical results, one can easily and clearly find the effects of various controlled parameters, such as geometric and physical properties of the system, on the mechanical behaviors of structures, and the conclusions are very important and useful for the design of micro-devices.

Continuous gas-solid separation fluidized beds are one of the most widely used practical operation units for the dry separation of coal in China,particularly in Northwest China,and they can effectively promote the efficient and clean utilization of raw *** a continuous gas-solid separation fluidized bed,the bed flow field is the concrete manifestation of the fluidization ***,the complexity of the flow field increases under the action of a moving *** this study,a combination of computational fluid dynamics(CFD)simulations and experimental measurements was used to study the changes in the flow field of a fluidized *** results showed that when the scraper moved,the local flow field(mainly characterized by the movement of medium particles)near the scraper was affected not only by the common airflow or bubbles,but also by the lateral driving force of the *** the scraper speed was v_(l)nals,which improved the fluidization stability of the ***,the movement of the scraper affected the global flow *** flow field shifted to the right near the scraper,with the direction of the scraper movement,while the flow field exhibited a leftward trend on the surface of the bed,accompanied by some vortices,in the middle and lower parts of the ***,the critical height of the area,directly affected by the scraper,increased from 52 to 54 mm with an increase in its operating speed from v_(l)=2.96 cm/s to v_(l)=4.44 cm/s,*** provides a theoretical basis for further understanding the hydrodynamic characteristics of fluidized beds.

Abstract In this paper, we introduce a modified Landweber iteration to solve the sideways parabolic equation, which is an inverse heat conduction problem （IHCP） in the quarter plane and is severely ill-posed. We shall show that our method is of optimal order under both a priori and a posteriori stopping rule. Furthermore, if we use the discrepancy principle we can avoid the selection of the a priori bound. Numerical examples show that the computation effect is satisfactory.

Artificial cognitive models and computational neuroscience methods have garnered great interest from both neurologist and leading analysts in recent years. Among the cognitive models, HMAX has been widely used in computer vision systems for its robustness shape and texture features inspired by the ventral stream of the human brain. This work presents a Color-HMAX （C-HMAX） model based on the HMAX model which imitates the color vision mechanism of the human brain that the HMAX model does not include. C-HMAX is then applied to the German Traffic Sign Recognition Benchmark （GTSRB） which has 43 categories and 51 840 sample traffic signs with an accuracy of 98.41%, higher than most other models including linear discriminant analysis and multi-scale convoiutional neural network.

Gravity-aided inertial navigation is a hot issue in the applications of underwater autonomous vehicle(UAV). Since the matching process is conducted with a gravity anomaly database tabulated in the form of a digital model and the resolution is 2’ × 2’,a filter model based on vehicle position is derived and the particularity of inertial navigation system(INS) output is employed to estimate a parameter in the system model. Meanwhile, the matching algorithm based on point mass filter(PMF) is applied and several optimal selection strategies are discussed. It is obtained that the point mass filter algorithm based on the deterministic resampling method has better practicability. The reliability and the accuracy of the algorithm are verified via simulation tests.

The center of the stability island of super-heavy nuclei(SHN)is the subject of intense experimental and theoretical investigations and has potential technological applications.^(298)^(114) Fl lies in the Z=114 isotopic chain as a persuasive candidate of the spherical double-magic nucleus in SHN,and in this study,the calculations of nuclear binding energies,one-nucleon and two-nucleon separation energies,a-decay energies,and the corresponding halflives provide strong evidence for this *** calculations within an improved Weizsacker-Skyrme nuclear mass model(WS*)were performed and compared with the calculations of the finite-range droplet model(FRDM2012)and experimental data for Z=114 isotopes and N=184 ***,the corresponding single-particle levels in a Woods-Saxon potential well with a spin-orbit term are calculated,which can be used as a powerful indicator to identify the shell effects existing *** the study of the properties of the isotopic chain and microphysical quantities provide a vital signal that ^(298)^(114) Fl is a spherical double-magic nucleus and also the center of the SHN.
