BACKGROUND The relationship between autoimmune gastritis(AIG)and gastric polyps(GPs)is not well *** To explore the clinical characteristics and risk factors of AIG with GPs in *** This double center retrospective study included 530 patients diagnosed with AIG from July 2019 to July *** collected clinical,biochemical,serological,and demographic data were of each *** regression analyses,both multivariate and univariate,were conducted to pinpoint independent risk factors for GPs in patients with AIG *** operating characteristic curves were utilized to establish the optimal cutoff values,sensitivity,and specificity of these risk factors for predicting GPs in patients with *** Patients with GPs had a higher median age than those without GPs[61(52.25-69)years vs 58(47-66)years,P=0.006].The gastrin-17 levels were significantly elevated in patients with GPs compared with those without GPs[91.9(34.2-138.9)pmol/mL vs 60.9(12.6-98.4)pmol/mL,Pbody(PCA)antibody was higher in these patients than in those without GPs(88.6%vs 73.6%,Plike cells hyperplasia(OR=3.116,Plike cells hyperplasia are significant risk factor for the development of GPs in patients with *** gastrin-17 levels may also play a role in this *** findings suggest potential targets for further research and therapeutic intervention in managing GPs in patients with AIG.

Moment Redistribution Effect of the Continuous Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer-Concrete Composite Slabs Based on Static Loading Experiment

This study aimed to investigate the moment redistribution in continuous glass fiber reinforced polymer(GFRP)-concrete composite slabs caused by concrete cracking and steel bar yielding in the negative bending moment *** experimental bending moment redistribution test was conducted on continuous GFRP-concrete composite slabs,and a calculation method based on the conjugate beam method was *** composite slabs were formed by combining GFRP profiles with a concrete layer and supported on steel beams to create two-span continuous composite slab *** methods,epoxy resin bonding,and stud connection,were used to connect the composite slabs with the steel *** experimental findings showed that the specimen connected with epoxy resin exhibited two moments redistribution phenomena during the loading process:concrete cracking and steel bar yielding at the internal *** contrast,the composite slab connected with steel beams by studs exhibited only one-moment redistribution phenomenon throughout the loading *** the concrete at the internal support cracked,the bending moment decreased in the internal support section and increased in the midspan *** the steel bars yielded,the bending moment further decreased in the internal support section and increased in the mid-span *** GFRP profiles do not experience cracking,there was no significant decrease in the bending moment of the mid-span *** test specimens experienced compressive failure of concrete at the mid-span *** results showed good agreement between the calculated and experimental values of bending moments in the mid-span section and internal support *** proposed model can effectively predict the moment redistribution behavior of continuous GFRP-concrete composite slabs.

Targets capture by distributed active swarms via bio-inspired reinforcement learning

Natural swarms arranged from cells to herds are usually decentralized but display intriguing collective intelligence in coordinating individuals across large scales to efficiently achieve their common goals. Learning from nature may provide new strategies for controlling collective dynamics of synthetic swarms to accomplish specific functions. Here, we present a bioinspired computational framework that steers distributed active swarms to collectively capture and merge targets via reinforcement learning. We exploit collective milling structures of natural herds to cage the targets, and adopt a switching control policy inspired by sperms' chiral dynamics to optimize the trajectories of individuals, through which the active swarms can selforganize to enclose single or multiple distant targets in a dynamical, adaptive and scalable manner. There exists a critical swarm size, beyond which the excessive competition between agents would generate large mechanical forces, leading to capture instability but enabling the transition from short-distance to long-distance merging capture of multiple targets. This work provides physical insights into distributed active swarms and could offer a multilevel, decentralized strategy toward controlling swarm robotics in wide applications such as bio-medical devices, machine immunity, and target clearance.

Assessments of coefficients of linear thermal expansions for magnetic elements Fe, Co and Ni

The coefficients of linear thermal expansions （CLEs） of magnetic elements Fe, Co and Ni were assessed from experimental information using theoretical models combined with MATLAB calculations. Model parameters can be determined accurately, and the assessed data are in good agreement with the experimental results. To facilitate the assessments, theories of thermal expansion were applied to separate CLEs into its nonmagnetic and magnetic components. The calculations of nonmagnetic contribution to CLEs were based on the modified Gruineisen- Debye model, in which the Debye temperature was regarded as an undetermined constant. In order to put the prediction of CLEs at the magnetic transition region on a sound physical basis, two kinds of theoretical models were innovatively used to calculate the magnetic contribution to CLEs, i.e., the Bragg-Williams model and the Fermi-Dirac distribution function. Model parameters were evaluated from experimental data using least square method. Detailed comparisons were made with the published experimental data and the calculated total CLEs. A satisfactory agreement is reached.

Robust power amplifier predistorter by using memory polynomials

In memory polynomial predistorter design, the coefficient estimation algorithm based on normalized least mean square is sensitive to initialization parameters. A predistorter based on generalized normalized gradient descent algorithm is proposed. The merit of the GNGD algorithm is that its learning rate provides compensation for the independent assumptions in the derivation of NLMS, thus its stability is improved. Computer simulation shows that the proposed predistorter is very robust. It can overcome the sensitivity of initialization parameters and get a better linearization performance.

Effects of fabric anisotropy on elastic shear modulus of granular soils

The fabric anisotropy of a granular soil deposit can strongly infl uence its engineering properties and behavior. This paper presents the results of a novel experimental study designed to examine the effects of fabric anisotropy on smallstrain stiffness and its evolution with loading on the elastic shear modulus of granular materials under a K0 condition. Two primary categories of fabric anisotropy, i.e., deposition-induced and particle shape-induced, are investigated. Toyoura sand deposits with relative densities of 40% and 80% were prepared using deposition angles oriented at 0o and 90o. Piezoelectric transducers were used to obtain the elastic shear modulus in the vertical and horizontal directions(Gvh and Ghh). The measurements indicate distinct differences in the values of G with respect to the different deposition angles. Particle shapeinduced fabric anisotropy was examined using four selected sands. It was concluded that sphericity is a controlling factor dominating the small-strain stiffness of granular materials. The degree of fabric anisotropy proves to be a good indicatorin the characterization of stress-induced fabric evolution during loading and unloading stress cycles. The experimental data were used to calibrate an existing micromechanical model, which was able to represent the behavior of the granular material and the degree of fabric anisotropy reasonably well.

Fuel Spray Dynamic Characteristics of GDI High Pressure Injection System

In order to improve the fuel consumption and exhaust emission for gasoline engines,gasoline direct injection（GDI） system is spotlighted to solve these ***,many researchers focus on the investigation of spray characteristics and the fuel formation of GDI *** paper presents a complete numerical and experimental characterization of transient gasoline spray from a high pressure injection system equipped with a modern single-hole electric controlled injector in a pressurized constant volume *** numerical analysis is carried out in a one-dimensional model of fuel injection system which is developed in the AVL HYDSIM *** experimental analyses are implemented through a self-developed injection rate measurement device and spray evolution visualization *** experimental results of injection rate and spray dynamics are taken to tune and validate the built *** visualization system synchronize a high speed CMOS camera to obtain the spray structure,moreover,the captured images are taken to validate the injector needle lift process which is simulated in the *** reliability of the built model is demonstrated by comparing the numerical results with the experimental *** formed vortex structure at 0.8 ms is effectively disintegrated at 6.2 ms and the spray dynamics become rather *** fuel flow characteristics within injector nozzle extremely influence the subsequent spray evolution,and therefore this point should be reconsidered when building hybrid breakup GDI spray *** spray tip speed reach the maximum at 1.18 ms regardless of the operation conditions and this is only determined by the injector ***,an empirical equation for the spray tip penetration is obtained and good agreement with the measured results is reached at a certain *** paper provides a methodology for the investigation of spray behavior and fuel distribution of GDI engine design.

The Theory of Finite Models without Equal Sign

In this paper, it is the first time ever to suggest that we study the model theory of all finite structures and to put the equal sign in the same situtation as the other relations. Using formulas of infinite lengths we obtain new theorems for the preservation of model extensions, submodels, model homomorphisms and inverse homomorphisms. These kinds of theorems were discussed in Chang and Keisler＇s Model Theory, systematically for general models, but Gurevich obtained some different theorems in this direction for finite models. In our paper the old theorems manage to survive in the finite model theory. There are some differences between into homomorphisms and onto homomorphisms in preservation theorems too. We also study reduced models and minimum models. The characterization sentence of a model is given, which derives a general result for any theory T to be equivalent to a set of existential-universal sentences. Some results about completeness and model completeness are also given.
