Compared with teenage patients,adult patients generally show a slower rate of tooth movement and more pronounced alveolar bone loss during orthodontic treatment,indicating the maladaptation of alveolar bone homeostasis under orthodontic ***,this phenomenon is not well-elucidated to date,leading to increased treatment difficulties and unsatisfactory treatment outcomes in adult *** to provide a comprehensive knowledge and further inspire insightful understanding towards this issue,this review summarizes the current evidence and underlying *** age-related abatements in mechanosensing and mechanotransduction in adult cells and periodontal tissue may contribute to retarded and unbalanced bone metabolism,thus hindering alveolar bone reconstruction during orthodontic *** this end,periodontal surgery,physical and chemical cues are being developed to reactivate or rejuvenate the aging periodontium and restore the dynamic equilibrium of orthodontic-mediated alveolar bone *** anticipate that this review will present a general overview of the role that aging plays in orthodontic alveolar bone metabolism and shed new light on the prospective ways out of the impasse.

Photodynamic therapy(PDT)has emerged as a significant cancer therapy ***,cation-based organic small molecule aggregation-induced emission(AIE)photosensitizers(PSs)attract the wide atten-tion of many scientists,due to improved reactive oxygen species(ROS)production after ***,such PSs tend to localize only the mitochondria,limiting the death way of tumor cells(usu-ally apoptosis)during PDT process,which may affect the therapeutic effect under some ***,we designed a novel water-soluble three positive charge PS,TPAN-18F,which could be distributed uniformly in cell cytoplasm and had distribution in different sub-organelles(mitochondria,endoplasmic reticulum,lysosome).The experimental results showed that TPAN-18F-based PDT process can not only disrupt mitochondrial functions(reducing ATP production and destroying mitochondrial membrane po-tential),but also elevate the intracellular lipid peroxides(LPOs)level,which evoke the non-apoptotic death manner of tumor ***,in vivo studies showed that TPAN-18F-based PDT could effectively inhibit tumor ***,we believe that the construction of TPAN-18F is suggestive for tumor non-apoptotic therapy.

Rare earth element(REE)mining has wrought severe ecosystem destruction,particularly in the loss of carbon(C),nitrogen(N),and phosphorus(P).Furthermore,its effects on nutrient recovery characteristics and associated microbial abundance are still poorly *** this study,an investigation was conducted to determine C,N,and P recovery patterns and microbial communities in abandoned REE mining tailings with different abandoned durations of 1.5(1.5-Y),7(7-Y),10(10-Y),and 14(14-Y)years and at an unmined site(the control group)in Jiangxi Province,*** tailing delamination at each site was investigated in 0–15(layer 1)and 15–30(layer 2)cm tailing *** the abandoned duration of REE tailings,C and P in layer 1 continued to recover from 1.62 to 8.51 g kg^(-1) and from 0.71 to 1.94 g kg^(-1),respectively;N losses of 0.60 and 0.22 g kg^(-1) occurred at the 1.5-Y and 10-Y sites,while N in layer 1 slightly increased at the 14-Y ***,Methylosinus,Bradyrhizobium,Pseudomonas,and Azospirillum were dominant bacteria at the 14-Y site and in the *** relative abundances of N-fixing bacteria Mesorhizobium(32.94%),Sinorhizobium(0.24%),Frankia(0.71%),and Burkholderia(2.38%)at the 14-Y site were 1.33–3.97 times those in the control(24.19%,0.18%,0.32%and 0.60%,respectively),which was helpful for tailing N *** the 14-Y site,Tylospora(50.24%),Luellia(11.02%),Tomentella(6.94%),and Chaetomium(4.34%)were the dominant fungal genera,while Tylospora(56.93%),Suillus(11.45%),and Penicillium(6.78%)predominated in the *** relative abundance of the P-dissolving fungus Aspergillus at the 14-Y site(0.42%)was 4.2 times that in the control(0.1%),which may lead to the improved tailing P *** the 14-Y site,woody plants such as Pinus massoniana and native pioneering herbs and ferns such as Dicranopteris dichotoma and Nephrolepis auriculata probably invaded from adjacent *** study unraveled the natural restoration of plant and micro

The Oligocene Zhuhai sandstones are significant reservoirs for hydrocarbons in the Baiyun Sag, South China *** effective appraisal, exploration and exploitation of such a deep-water hydrocarbon sandstone, samples of five wells from depths of 850 m to 3 000 m were studied. A series of comprehensive petrographic and geochemical analyses were performed to unravel the diagenetic features and their impact on the reservoir ***, the sandstones are dominated by feldspathic litharenites and lithic arenites with fine to medium grain sizes and moderate to good sorting. The reservoir quality varies greatly with a range of porosity from 0.2% to 36.1% and permeability from 0.016 ×10~(–3) μm~2 to 4 301 ×10~(–3) μm~2, which is attributed to complex diagenetic evolution related to sedimentary facies;these include compaction, cementation of calcite, dolomite, siderite and framboidal pyrite in eogenetic stage;further compaction, feldspar dissolution, precipitation of ferrocalcite and ankerite, quartz cements, formation of kaolinite and its illitization, precipitation of albite and nodular pyrite, as well as hydrocarbon charge in mesogenetic stage. The dissolution of feldspar and illitization of kaolinite provide internal sources for the precipitation of quartz cement, while carbonate cements are derived from external sources related to interbedded mudstones and deep fluid. Compaction is the predominant factor in reducing the total porosity, followed by carbonate cementation that leads to strong heterogeneity. Feldspar dissolution and concomitant quartz and clay cementation barely changes the porosity but significantly reduces the *** high-quality reservoirs can be concluded as medium-grained sandstones lying in the central parts of thick underwater distributary channel sandbodies(>2 m) with a high content of detrital quartz but low cement.

Efficient and environmentally friendly production of high-quality continuous fiber coatings using current preparation methods is highly challenging due to issues such as scale and batch processing restrictions,low deposition rate,high energy consumption,and utilization of multiple environmentally hazardous *** address these challenges,we propose a stable and efficient wet chemical deposition coating method for high-throughput online continuous preparation of boron nitride(BN)coatings on ceramic fibers under an ambient *** process involves surface modification,in-situ wet chemical deposition,and heat treatment,and all seamlessly connecting with the ceramic fiber preparation process through continuous *** groups were introduced via surface modification enhancing wettability of the fiber surface with impregnating *** in-situ reaction and atom migration improve uniformity and binding of the *** a result,outstanding impregnation and adhesion properties are achieved.A comprehensive analysis to evaluate the impact of the BN coatings was conducted,which demonstrates that the BN-coated fibers exhibit a remarkable 36%increase in tensile strength,a 133%increase in fracture toughness,and enhanced temperature resistance of up to 1600℃.It provides a secure and efficient platform for cost-effective production of functional and high-quality coatings through targeted surface modification and rapid stretching impregnation.

The deep vibrator is an important equipment of foundation improvement. It works through eccentric masses with high-speed. But the traditional eccentric structure will stir the oil around it, and it will result in the loss of motor power. The paper analyzed the stirring phenomenon, and got the level and specific data of stirring and swirling through fluent software. After principle analysis, a new type of anti-churning eccentric structure was put forward, which can effectively avoid stirring phenomenon. Otherwise, the new structure will also not produce irregular vibration because of swirling, then it can work with a better performance. In addition, the contrast of dynamic performance between a traditional and new structure was carried out in the paper and proved that the new structure has a better working performance. Modeling data in the paper is from surveying and mapping, so the conclusion can be taken as guidance for vibrator designing.
