Annotating named entity recognition （NER） training corpora is a costly but necessary process for supervised NER approaches. This paper presents a general framework to generate large-scale NER training data from parallel corpora. In our method, we first employ a high performance NER system on one side of a bilingual corpus. Then, we project the named entity （NE） labels to the other side according to the word level alignments. Finally, we propose several strategies to select high-quality auto-labeled NER training data. We apply our approach to Chinese NER using an English-Chinese parallel corpus. Experimental results show that our approach can collect high-quality labeled data and can help improve Chinese NER.

目的:本文研究自底向上的事件抽取方法。在无需预先人工给定事件类型体系的基础上,实现事件类型体系的自动构建及事件类型识别和事件元素的抽取。创新点:本文首次提出基于聚类的事件类型自动发现方法。和传统事件抽取技术相比,该方法无需预先定义事件类型,无需先验的领域知识。因此,该方法是对领域移植的一个尝试,尤其适用于知识和资源有限的领域。方法:该方法依据谓语动词是对领域事件刻画的重要单元的特点,利用依存句法信息抽取领域事件词,利用《知网》(How Net)对领域事件词进行聚类从而获取不同的事件类型(图2),随后进行事件元素的抽取。本文提出基于Bootstrapping的事件元素抽取框架,该框架核心有三部分:(1)模式获取:该模块负责将事件种子放在互联网上去检索,获得事件实例,并根据事件实例,按照一定的规则生成初始的事件模式(图3);(2)模式泛化:初始事件模式由于过于死板,导致遗漏掉很多事件的匹配,因此,本文设计模式泛化方法,将原有的事件模式按照一定规则,进行一定程度上的泛化,使其在保证准确率不变的情况下尽量提高召回率(算法3);(3)模式过滤:经泛化后的模式会在一定程度上引入噪声,因此,本文提出一套过滤规则,尽量减少泛化带来的噪声(表3)。结论:提出自底向上的事件抽取系统。该系统在公开的ACE语料数据集上取得了优于当前最好基线方法的结果。同时在我们手工构造的音乐领域和金融领域数据集上也取得了优秀的实验结果。这表明该方法可以很好地进行领域自适应。

A language-independent neural network for event detection

Event detection remains a challenge because of the difficulty of encoding the word semantics in various contexts. Previous approaches have heavily depended on language-specific knowledge and preexisting natural language processing tools. However, not all languages have such resources and tools available compared with English language. A more promising approach is to automatically learn effective features from data, without relying on language-specific resources. In this study, we develop a language-independent neural network to capture both sequence and chunk information from specific contexts and use them to train an event detector for multiple languages without any manually encoded features. Experiments show that our approach can achieve robust, efficient and accurate results for various languages. In the ACE 2005 English event detection task, our approach achieved a 73.4% F-score with an average of 3.0% absolute improvement compared with state-of-the-art. Additionally, our experimental results are competitive for Chinese and Spanish.

Sentiment collocation refers to the collocation of a target word and a polarity word. Sentiment collocation extraction aims to extract the targets and their modifying polarity words by analyzing the relationships between them. This can be regarded as a basic sentiment analysis task and is relevant in many practical applications. Previous studies relied mainly on the syntactic path, which is used to connect the target word and the polarity word. To deeply exploit the semantic information of the syntactic path, we propose two types of syntactic representation, namely, relation embedding and subtree embedding, to capture the latent semantic features. Relation embedding is used to represent the latent semantics between targets and their corresponding polarity words, and subtree embedding is used to explore the rich syntactic information for each word on the path. To combine the two types of syntactic representations, a neural network is constructed. We use a recursive neural network(RNN) to model the subtree embeddings, and then the subtree embedding and the word embedding are combined as the enhanced word representation for each word in the syntactic path. Finally,a convolutional neural network(CNN) is adopted to integrate the two types of syntactic representations to extract the sentiment collocations from reviews. Our experiments were conducted on six types of reviews, which included product domains(such as cameras and phones) and service domains(such as hotels and restaurants).The experimental results show that our proposed method can accurately capture the latent semantic features hidden behind the syntactic paths that neither the common feature-based methods nor the syntactic-path-based method can handle, and, further, that it significantly outperforms numerous baselines and previous methods.

Ultrasmall Au nanoclusters have been proven to effectively enhance the catalytic performance of NiFe layered double hydroxides(NiFe-LDHs)toward oxygen evolution reaction(OER),yet the surface ligand effect of the Au nanoclusters still remains ***,a systematic study is reported to examine the OER performance of NiFe-LDHs supported atom-precise all alkynyl-protected[Au_(28)(~tBuC≡C)17]~-nanoclusters(Au_(28)-Alkynyl in short)and thiolate-protected Au_(28)(TBBT)_(20)(TBBT=4-tert-butylbenzene thiol)counterp arts(Au_(28)-Thiolate in short).The Au_(28)-Alkynyl cluster has characteristic absorbance feature,and its composition is verified by mass *** possesses a drastically different structure from the reported mixed ligand protected Au_(28)***,the NiFe-LDHs loaded with Au_(28)-Alkynyl exhibited a superior OER performance than the sample loaded with Au28-Thiolate under the same conditions,evidenced by a smaller overpotential of 205 mV at the current density of 10 mA·cm^(-2)and a lower Tafel slope value of 41.0 mV·dec^(-1)in 1 mol·L^(-1)*** excellent performance is attributed to the interfaces created between the NiFe-LDHs and the Au nanoclusters,as density functional theory calculations reveal that more significant charge transfer occurs in Au_(28)-Alkynyl/NiFeLDHs catalyst,and more importantly,the energy barrier of the potential-determining step in the OER process for Au28-Alkynyl/NiFe-LDHs is much lower than that of Au28-Thiolate/NiFe-LDHs hence favors the electrocatalytic reaction.

Temperature-swing adsorption(TSA)is an effective technique for CO_(2) capture,but the temperature swing procedure is ***,we report a low-energy-consumption system by combining passive radiative cooling and solar heating for the uptake of CO_(2) on commercial activated carbons(CACs).During adsorption,the adsorbents are coated with a layer of hierarchically porous poly(vinylidene fluoride-co-hexafluoropropene)[P(VdF-HFP)HP],which cools the adsorbents to a low temperature under sunlight through radiative *** desorption,CACs with broad absorption of the solar spectrum are exposed to light irradiation for *** heating and cooling processes are completely driven by solar *** tests under mimicked sunlight using the CACs show that the performance of this system is comparable to that of the traditional ***,under real sunlight irradiation,the adsorption capacity of the CACs can be well maintained after multiple *** present work may inspire the development of new temperature swing procedures with little energy consumption.

Night-time warming is vital for human production and daily *** methods like active heaters are energy-intensive,while passive insulating films possess restrictions regarding space consumption and the lack of heat *** this work,a nanophotonic-based night-time warming strategy that passively inhibits thermal radiation of objects while actively harnessing that of atmosphere is *** using a photonic-engineered thin film that exhibits high reflectivity(~0.91)in the atmospheric transparent band(8-14μm)and high absorptivity(~0.7)in the atmospheric radiative band(5-8 and 14-16μm),temperature rise of 2.1℃/4.4℃compared to typical low-e film and broadband absorber is ***,net heat loss as low as 9Wm-2 is experimentally observed,compared to 16 and 39Wm-2 for low-e film and broadband absorber,*** strategy suggests an innovative way for sustainable warming,thus contributes to addressing the challenges of climate change and promoting global carbon neutrality.
