The emergence of deep fake videos in recent years has made image falsification a real danger.A person’s face and emotions are deep-faked in a video or speech and are substituted with a different face or voice employing deep learning to analyze speech or emotional *** of how clever these videos are frequently,Manipulation is challenging to *** media are the most frequent and dangerous targets since they are weak outlets that are open to extortion or slander a *** earlier times,it was not so easy to alter the videos,which required expertise in the domain and ***,the generation of fake videos has become easier and with a high level of realism in the *** are forgeries and altered visual data that appear in still photos or video *** automatic identification systems have been developed to solve this issue,however they are constrained to certain datasets and performpoorly when applied to different *** study aims to develop an ensemble learning model utilizing a convolutional neural network(CNN)to handle deepfakes or *** employed ensemble learning,a technique combining many classifiers to achieve higher prediction performance than a single classifier,boosting themodel’s *** performance of the generated model is evaluated on Face *** work is about building a new powerful model for automatically identifying deep fake videos with the DeepFake-Detection-Challenges(DFDC)*** test our model using the DFDC,one of the most difficult datasets and get an accuracy of 96%.

Background: Birds produce alarm calls to convey information about threats. Some Passerine alarm calls consist of several note strings, but few studies have examined their function. Previous studies have shown that Japanese Tits(Parus minor) can alter the calling rate and number and combination of notes in response to predators. We previously found the combinations of note types in Japanese Tit alarm calls to be significantly different in response to the Sparrowhawk(Accipiter nisus) and Common Cuckoo(Cuculus canorus).Methods: Through playback experiments, we tested whether the note strings in Japanese Tit alarm calls to the Common Cuckoo have different functions in conveying information. The note strings of selected alarm calls were divided into the categories of C and D, and different calls were then constructed separately based on the two note string categories. Original alarm calls(C–D), C calls and D calls were played back to male Japanese Tits during the incubation ***: Male Japanese Tits had a significantly stronger response to C calls than to C–D calls, and they showed a significantly stronger response to both C and C–D calls than to D calls, suggesting that Japanese Tits discriminated between the C and D ***: Our study demonstrated that the C-and D-category note strings of Japanese Tit alarm calls to the Common Cuckoo have different functions, which supports the previous finding that different note strings in an alarm call can provide different information to receivers. However, the exact meanings of these note strings are not yet known, and further investigation is therefore required.

A magnetic bar carbon paste electrode （MBCPE） modified with Fe3O4 magnetic nanoparticles （Fe3O4NPs） and 2‐（3,4‐dihydroxyphenyl） benzothiazole （DPB） for the electrochemical determina‐tion of hydrazine was developed. The DPB was firstly self‐assembled on the Fe3O4NPs, and the re‐sulting Fe3O4NPs/DPB composite was then absorbed on the designed MBCPE. The MBCPE was used to attract the magnetic nanoparticles to the electrode surface. Owing to its high conductivity and large effective surface area, the novel electrode had a very large current response for the electrocat‐alytic oxidation of hydrazine. The modified electrode was characterized by voltammetry, scanning electron microscopy, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, infrared spectroscopy, and UV‐visible spectroscopy. Voltammetric methods were used to study the electrochemical behaviour of hydrazine on MBCPE/Fe3O4NPs/DPB in phosphate buffer solution （pH = 7.0）. The MBCPE/Fe3O4NPs/DPB, acting as an electrochemical sensor, exhibited very high electrocatalytic activity for the oxidation of hydrazine. The presence of DPB was found to reduce the oxidation potential of hydrazine and increase the catalytic current. The dependence of the electrocatalytic current on the hydrazine concentration exhibited two linear ranges, 0.1–0.4 μmol/L and 0.7–12.0 μmol/L, with a detection limit of 18.0 nmol/L. Additionally, the simultaneous determination of hydrazine and phe‐nol was investigated using the MBCPE/Fe3O4NPs/DPB electrode. Voltammetric experiments showed a linear range of 100–470 μmol/L and a detection limit of 24.3 μmol/L for phenol, and the proposed electrode was applied to the determination of hydrazine and phenol in water samples.

Objective:To evaluate the effects of ethanol–water(80:20) extract of Marrubium vulgare(***) on the hematological parameters,macroscopic and histological aspects of the uterus and fetus in non-pregnant and pregnant ***:Female rats were divided into 4 equal groups(n = 9),group N(normal rats) and group G(pregnant rats) considered as control groups,group NE(normal rats treated with the ethanol–water(80:20,v/v) extract of ***) and group GE(pregnant rats treated with the extract).The ethanol–water(80:20) plant extract was administered in a single daily dose 1 g/kg at the morning,during 19 *** the 19 day of the experiment,animals were sacrificed,the uterus and fetuses were removed for the morphological and histological studies and the blood was collected in EDTA tubes for the measurement of hematological parameters with the use of an automate ‘HORIBA ABX Micros 60 Hematology Analyzer'.Results:Our results showed,in group NE and GE,a significant decrease on hematological parameters:red blood cells(NE:18.6%;GE:38.4%),hematocrit(NE:13.8%;GE:20.4%),hemoglobin(NE:12.1%;GE:8.3%) and mean corpuscular volume(NE:6.4%;GE:2%) with P more less a ***,the extract of *** caused a significant decrease on the mean implantations of fetuses(82.5%,P<0.001) and their size(47.2%,P< 0.01).As for the macroscopic and histological appearance of uterus,our data showed no change in normal treated *** contrast,the treated pregnant rats showed a severe histological change characterized by the existence of location of stopped ***,it was also found in the uterus of these rat lyses placental and embryo ***:All these results support the hypothesis of an abortifacient effect of ***.

Alkaloids are a diverse group of natural *** phytochemicals in plants provide them protection against pests,and herbivorous organisms and also control their *** of these alkaloids have a variety of biological effects,and some have even been developed into medications with different medicinal *** review aims to provide a broad overview of the numerous naturally occurring alkaloids(isolated from both terrestrial and aquatic species)along with synthetically produced alkaloid compounds having prominent antiviral *** reviews on this subject have focused on the biological actions of both natural and synthetic alkaloids,but they have not gone into comprehensive detail about their antiviral *** reviewed here several antiviral alkaloids that have been described in the literature in different investigational environments i.e.(in-vivo,in-ovo,in-vitro,and in-silico),and found that these alkaloid compounds have significant antiviral properties against several infectious *** alkaloids repressed and targeted various important stages of viral infection at non-toxic doses while some of the alkaloids reported here also exhibited comparable inhibitory activities to commercially used ***,these anti-viral effects of alkaloids point to a high degree of specificity,implying that they could serve as effective and safe antiviral medicines if further pursued in medicinal and pharmacological investigations.

为了更好地了解合肥市饮用水源地水生态环境状况,于2020年夏季、秋季、冬季及2021年春季对大房郢水库的水质、浮游植物和浮游动物进行监测,对比浮游生物群落现存量与历史变化,并使用冗余分析(RDA)以及蒙特卡洛置换检验探究环境因子对浮游生物群落的影响。结果表明,研究区域浮游植物以蓝藻门为主要优势种属,密度及生物量较2005年分别增加37.7%和7.0%,浮游动物以桡足类为主要优势种,密度较2005年大幅度下降了77.5%,生物量多样性增加了47.8%,影响浮游生物群落结构的主要环境因子为NH_(3)-N、T(温度)、pH和TN。此外,研究也揭示了季节变化对水库浮游生物的物种组成影响小,但对浮游生物的丰度及多样性影响显著。

Eye and foot checks in patients with diabetes on haemodialysis: Are they done,and who does them?

AIM To determine if retinal and foot checks are carried out on patients with diabetes receiving *** Eighty-four patients with diabetes receiving haemodialysis were asked if they recalled having eye and foot screening in the last year, and if so, by whom was the check *** Seventy-seven(91.7%) patients recalled having an eye check in the preceding 12 mo. Of these, 52(67.5%) did so in an ophthalmology clinic, 17(22%) in retinal screening, three(3.9%) in an optician clinic. Three patients(3.9%) went to both ophthalmology and retinal screening, and two (2.6%) attended an ophthalmology and optician. Seventy (83.3%) patients recalled having a foot check in the preceding 12 mo. Of these, 33 (47.1%) were done by practice nurse, 14 (20%) by a diabetes nurse, 11 (15.7%) by a general practitioner, eight (11.4%) by a chiropodist, and four (5.7%) were each checked by renal nurse, diabetes consultant, junior doctor, or unknown person at a foot *** Most patients with diabetes on haemodialysis are able to recall having an eye check in the last year, although 8.3% could not. A significant proportion of patients could not recall having a foot check (16.7%) in the last year. This baseline audit suggests that an improvement in the rate of foot screening is important to achieve in patients with diabetes on haemodialysis in our unit.
