Existing depth completion methods are often targeted at a specific sparse depth type and generalize poorly across task *** present a method to complete sparse/semi-dense,noisy,and potentially low-resolution depth maps obtained by various range sensors,including those in modern mobile phones,or by multi-view reconstruction *** method leverages a data-driven prior in the form of a single image depth prediction network trained on large-scale datasets,the output of which is used as an input to our *** propose an effective training scheme where we simulate various sparsity patterns in typical task *** addition,we design two new benchmarks to evaluate the generalizability and robustness of depth completion *** simple method shows superior cross-domain generalization ability against state-of-the-art depth completion methods,introducing a practical solution to highqualitydepthcapture onamobile device.

Red algal evidence for a marine regression during closure of the Paleo-Asian Ocean in the Junggar Basin and its linkage to hydrocarbon generation

The closure of the Paleo-Asian Ocean was a significant geological event in northern Pangea during the *** had a significant effect on climate,biota,and environmental conditions of the Late Paleozoic Ice Age,and resulted in the development of vast energy *** paper reports on the first discovery of marine red algal fossils in the Junggar Basin and its linkage to hydrocarbon *** algae occur mainly in the Fengcheng Formation(ca.300 Ma)and provide direct fossil evidence for closure of the Paleo-Asian *** red algal fossils contain well-preserved reproductive organs,such as cystocarps and *** concentrations of C_(27) steranes(C_(27) regular steranes/sum of C_(27)-C_(29) regular steranes×100=14.30%-21.30%)and the marine biomarker 24-n-propylcholesterane(C_(30) diasterane[βα20S]/sum of C_(27)-C_(30) diasteranes[βα20S]×100=1.15%-1.85%)were detected in the red-algae-bearing hydrocarbon source *** experiments that simulate hydrocarbon generation show that the oil generation potential of the red-algae-bearing source rocks is 363.71 mg g^(-1) total organic *** result,combined with oil-source rock correlations,indicates these rocks contributed to the formation of oil and gas resources,particularly in the marginal areas of the *** lake basin inherited the water and biological conditions of the Paleo-Asian Ocean during a marine regression,which was an important factor in the development of these high-quality hydrocarbon source rocks in an alkaline saline *** results advance our understanding of the evolution of the Paleo-Asian Ocean,interactions between the ocean and a lake during the deposition of terrestrial hydrocarbon source rocks,and whether red algae can effectively generate hydrocarbons.

Use of nonlinearconductive SiC/silicone rubber(SR)field grading material(FGM)can improve the local field concentration of composite *** large volume fraction and large-size SiC particles(SiCp)into SR can obtain a good field grading effect,but it is accompanied by the deterioration of mechanical *** SiC with different shapes can solve this *** incorporating one-dimensional SiC whiskers(SiCw)to synergize with granular SiCp,SiC/SR FGM with better field-dependent conductivity,mechanical properties and thermal conductivity than large-size SiCp and large volume fraction filling case can be obtained by using smaller size SiCp and lower filling *** simulations of 500 kv line insulators show that the modified SiC/SR FGM can reduce the maximum field strength along the insulator surface and at sheath-core rod interfaces by 55%and 71.4%,*** combined application of FGM and grading ring can achieve a complementary *** FGM to partially replace the role of the grading rings,the field strength indicators can still meet the operational requirements after the tube radius and shielding depth of the grading rings at both ends are reduced by 36.2%and 40%separately,which is a benefit to alleviating the problems of high weight and large volume faced by traditional field grading methods.

The next generation of very long baseline interferometry(VLBI)is stepping into the era of microarcsecond(μas)astronomy,and pushing astronomy,especially astrometry,to new *** with the Square Kilometre Array(SKA),SKA-VLBI,will increase current sensitivity by an order of magnitude,and reach astrometric precision routinely below 10μas,even challenging 1μ*** advancement allows precise parallax and proper motion measurements of various celestial *** improvements can be used to study objects(including isolated objects,and binary or multiple systems)in different stellar stages(such as star formation,main-sequence stars,asymptotic giant branch stars,pulsars,black holes,white dwarfs,etc.),unveil the structure and evolution of complex systems(such as the Milky Way),benchmark the international celestial reference frame,and reveal cosmic ***,the theory of general relativity can also be tested with SKA-VLBI using precise measurements of light deflection under the gravitational fields of different solar system objects and the perihelion precession of solar system objects.

While the metal to insulator transition(MIT)of d-band correlated perovskite nickelates(RENiO_(3))are widely adjustable via their rare-earth composition,the roles of potential valence variabilities associated with the rare-earth elements were rarely ***,we demonstrate the material synthesis and MIT properties of RENiO_(3) containing valence variable rare-earth compositions,such as ce,Pr,Sm,Eu and *** metastable perovskite structure of SmNiO_(3) and EuNiO_(3) with a rare-earth valence states variable towards+2 can be effectively synthesized under high oxygen pressures as it is necessary to reduce their formation free *** is in contrast to ce and Tb,in which situations the variable rare-earth valence state towards+4 reduces their ionic radius and prohibits their occupation or co-occupation of the rare-earth site within the perovskite structured RENiO_(3).Nevertheless,PrNiO_(3) with MIT properties can be effectively synthesized at lower oxygen pressures,owing to the higher stability to form a fully occupied 6s orbit associated Pr3+compared to the half-filled one related to Pr4+.The present work provides guidance for regulating the MIT properties of RENiO_(3).

Lacustrine shale oil and gas are important fields for unconventional exploration and development in China,and organic-rich shale deposition lays down the critical foundation for hydrocarbon *** are two sets of shale,the Dongyuemiao and Da’anzhai Members,in the Ziliujing Formation in the Sichuan *** identify the differential enrichment characteristics of organic matter and clarify its controlling factors,geochemical analyses of organic and inorganic geochemical analyses were *** results showed that the total organic carbon content of the Dongyuemiao shale(1.36%)is slightly higher than that of the Da’anzhai shale(0.95%).The enrichment of organic matter in the two shales resulted from the comprehensive controls of paleoproductivity,paleoenvironment,and terrigenous input,but different factors have different *** addition,driven by climate,the change in the sulfate concentration in the bottom water further led to the different intensities of bacterial sulfate reduction in early *** made a great difference regarding organic matter accumulation in the two *** general,climate may have played a dominant role in organic matter enrichment in the two sets of shale.

Surface thiolates play important roles in evincing the structures and properties of thiolated metal nanoclusters—one type of recently emerging inorganic-organic hybrids,and thus the thiolate substitution,especially single thiolate substitution,is highly desirable for subtly tailoring the structures and properties of metal ***,such a single-thiolate substituting is challenging,and its influence on the metal-metal and metal-sulfur bonds remains mysterious due to the absence of the singlethiolate-substituted ***,we developed a combined method,concurrently synthesized the single-thiolate-substituted nanocluster and its parent nanocluster,and successfully resolved their structures by single crystal X-ray crystallography,which reveals that the single thiolate substitute has an obvious influence on the metal-metal and metal-sulfur bond lengths although it has no effect on the absorption ***,the metal-metal and metal-sulfur bonds show various thermal extensibility and even the negative thermal expansion phenomena of the Au–S bond were observed in the single-thiolate-substituted *** bond length-related stability was also ***,this study highlights a novel synthesis method and offers novel structural insights and an in-depth structure-property correlation of thiolated metal nanoclusters.

Herein,a new nanozyme/natural enzyme hybrid biosensor was established for ultrasensitive l-glutamic acid(L-Glu)*** Fe_(3)O_(4) nanoparticles with peroxidase-like activity and stability was used as a nanozyme and carrier for immobilizing l-Glutamate oxidase(GLOD)through Schiffff base reaction to construct a chem-enzyme cascade *** resultant Fe_(3)O_(4)-GOLD exhibited a wide linear range(10−500μM)and a low detection limit of 6.03μM for L-Glu ***,the Fe_(3)O_(4)-GOLD exhibited excellent pH stability,thermal stability,reusability and storage *** repeated nine cycles,Fe_(3)O_(4)-GOLD still retained 70%of its initial ***,Fe_(3)O_(4)-GOLD maintained 50%of its initial activity after storage for 20 days,while free GLOD only retained 20%of its initial *** strategy of integrating biomimetic Fe 3 O4 and natural enzymes for cascade catalysis makes it possible to design an efficient and stable chemo-enzyme composite catalysts,which are promising for applications in biosensing and biomimetic catalysis.
