Exploring charge and spin fluctuations in infinite-layer cuprate SrCuO_(2)from a phonon perspective

The infinite-layer cuprate ACu O_(2)(A=Ca,Sr,Ba)possesses the simplest crystal structure among numerous cuprate superconductors and can serve as a prototypical system to explore the unconventional *** on the first-principles electronic structure calculations,we have studied the electronic and magnetic properties of the infinite-layer cuprate SrCuO_(2)from a phonon *** find that interesting fluctuations of charges,electrical dipoles,and local magnetic moments can be induced by the atomic displacements of phonon modes in SrCuO_(2)upon the hole *** all optical phonon modes of SrCuO_(2)in the antiferromagnetic Néel state,only the A_(1g)mode that involves the full-breathing O vibrations along the Cu-O bonds can cause significant fluctuations of local magnetic moments on O atoms and dramatic charge redistributions between Cu and O ***,due to the atomic displacements of the A_(1g)mode,both the charge fluctuations on Cu and the electrical dipoles on O show a dome-like evolution with increasing hole doping,quite similar to the experimentally observed behavior of the superconducting T_(c);in comparison,the fluctuations of local magnetic moments on O display a monotonic enhancement along with the hole *** analyses indicate that around the optimal doping,there exists a large softening in the frequency of the A_(1g)phonon mode and a van Hove singularity in the electronic structure close to the Fermi level,suggesting potential electron-phonon *** work reveals the important role of the full-breathing O phonon mode playing in the infinite-layer SrCuO_(2),which may provide new insights in understanding the cuprate superconductivity.

The infinite-layer cuprate ACuO2（A = Ca, Sr, Ba） possesses the simplest crystal structure among numerous cuprate superconductors and can serve as a prototypical system to explore the unconventional superconductivity. Based on the first-principles electronic structure calculations, we have studied the electronic and magnetic properties of the infinite-layer cuprate SrCuO2from a phonon perspective. We find that interesting fluctuations of charges, electrical dipoles, and local magnetic moments can be induced by the atomic displacements of phonon modes in SrCuO2upon the hole doping. Among all optical phonon modes of SrCuO2in the antiferromagnetic Ne′el state, only the A1gmode that involves the full-breathing O vibrations along the Cu-O bonds can cause significant fluctuations of local magnetic moments on O atoms and dramatic charge redistributions between Cu and O atoms. Notably, due to the atomic displacements of the A1gmode, both the charge fluctuations on Cu and the electrical dipoles on O show a dome-like evolution with increasing hole doping, quite similar to the experimentally observed behavior of the superconducting Tc; in comparison, the fluctuations of local magnetic moments on O display a monotonic enhancement along with the hole doping. Further analyses indicate that around the optimal doping, there exists a large softening in the frequency of the A1gphonon mode and a van Hove singularity in the electronic structure close to the Fermi level, suggesting potential electron-phonon coupling. Our work reveals the important role of the full-breathing O phonon mode playing in the infinite-layer SrCuO2, which may provide new insights in understanding the cuprate superconductivity.

The melilite-type compound (Sr_(1-x),A_x)_2MnGe_2S_6O(A=K,La) being a room temperature ferromagnetic semiconductor

The seeking of room temperature ferromagnetic semiconductors, which take advantages of both the charge and spin degrees of freedom of electrons to realize a variety of functionalities in devices integrated with electronic, optical, and magnetic storage properties, has been a long-term goal of scientists and engineers. Here, by using the spin-polarized density functional theory calculations, we predict a new series of high temperature ferromagnetic semiconductors based on the melilite-type oxysulfide Sr_2MnGe_2S_6O through hole(K) and electron(La) doping. Due to the lack of strong antiferromagnetic superexchange between Mn ions, the weak antiferromagnetic order in the parent compound Sr_2MnGe_2S_6O can be suppressed easily by charge doping with either p-type or n-type carriers, giving rise to the expected ferromagnetic order. At a doping concentration of 25%, both the hole-doped and electron-doped compounds can achieve a Curie temperature(T_c) above 300 K. The underlying mechanism is *** study provides an effective approach for exploring new types of high temperature ferromagnetic semiconductors.

Leaching behavior and microstructure of phosphorus in converter slag

Converter slag is a by-product of the steelmaking process and contains a large amount of Ca,Fe,P and other *** the phosphorus in the converter slag can be effectively extracted,the resulting phosphorus can be used as a phosphate *** in converter slag is mainly enriched in 2CaO·SiO_(2)-3CaO·P_(2)O_(5)(C_(2)S-C_(3)P)solid solution and is easily dissolved in ***,acid leaching method was used to dissolve the solid solution to extract phosphorus in converter slag,so as to realize the recycling of phosphorus resources in converter *** leaching behavior of three actual converter slags from different steel mills in acid leaching solutions composed of citric acid,sodium hydroxide,hydrochloric acid and deionized water was studied by X-ray diffraction,scanning electron microscopy combined with energy dispersive spectrometry,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and Raman spectroscopy to reveal the change in object image structure as well as SiO_(4) and PO_(4) tetrahedron before and after acid *** results show that only a small amount of phosphorus in converter slag with too low basicity is enriched in C_(2)S-C_(3)P solid solution,resulting in poor leaching *** the converter slag has a high basicity,the removal effect of phosphorus is 70.64%-81.88%.In addition,when the basicity of converter slag is roughly the same,the dephosphorization effect of slag with high FeO content is relatively *** acid leaching will cause depolymerization behavior of SiO_(4) and PO_(4) tetrahedron,so that the mole fraction of Q0(Si)(asymmetric stretching vibration of Si-O bond in SiO_(4) tetrahedron with bridge oxygen number of 0)and NBO/Si(non-bridging oxygen in silicate tetrahedra)will ***-containing solids can be obtained from the solution after acid leaching through static precipitation,and the solids have the potential to make phosphate fertilizers.

Dry-cured meat products are considerably popular around the world due to unique *** is one of the enzymatic reactions from which flavor substances are derived,which is affected by endogenous *** purpose aimed to reveal the potential relationship between endogenous proteases and key flavor substances in dry-cured pork coppa in this *** dynamic changes of endogenous proteases activity,free amino acids,and volatiles during dry-cured pork coppa processing were *** results showed that 5 kinds of free amino acids,Glu,Lys,Val,Ala,and Leu,were identified as significant contributors to ***,key volatiles,such as hexanal,nonanal,octanal,benzaldehyde,3-methyl butanoic acid,2-methyl propanoic acid,and ethyl octanoate,greatly contributed to the flavor characteristics of dry-cured pork *** partial correlation analysis was performed to better elucidate the relationship among *** results revealed that close relationship between endogenous proteases and key *** not only significantly affected the accumulation of key active-amino acids,but also affected the accumulation of ethyl octanoate,2,3-pentanedione,and 2,3-octanedione by regulating the accumulation of octanoic acid and *** addition,cathepsin B and D,DPP II,DPP IV and RAP notably affected accumulation of hexanal.

Pre-polymerized vinyl trimethoxy silane(PVTMS)@MWCNT nano-aerogel system was constructed via radical polymerization,sol-gel transition and supercritical CO_(2)*** fabricated organic-inorganic hybrid PVTMS@MWCNT aerogel structure shows nano-pore size(30-40 nm),high specific surface area(559 m^(2)g^(−1)),high void fraction(91.7%)and enhanced mechanical property:(1)the nano-pore size is beneficial for efficiently blocking thermal conduction and thermal convection via Knudsen effect(beneficial for infrared(IR)stealth);(2)the heterogeneous interface was beneficial for IR reflection(beneficial for IR stealth)and MWCNT polarization loss(beneficial for electromagnetic wave(EMW)attenuation);(3)the high void fraction was beneficial for enhancing thermal insulation(beneficial for IR stealth)and EMW impedance match(beneficial for EMW attenuation).Guided by the above theoretical design strategy,PVTMS@MWCNT nano-aerogel shows superior EMW absorption property(cover all Ku-band)and thermal IR stealth property(ΔT reached 60.7℃).Followed by a facial combination of the above nano-aerogel with graphene film of high electrical conductivity,an extremely high electromagnetic interference shielding material(66.5 dB,2.06 mm thickness)with superior absorption performance of an average absorption-to-reflection(A/R)coefficient ratio of 25.4 and a low reflection bandwidth of 4.1 GHz(A/R ratio more than 10)was experimentally obtained in this work.

High-Speed Rubbing Behavior of Abrasive Coating Coated on Titanium Alloy Blade Tips

In aero-engines, abrasive coatings are typically utilized to protect the blade tip from excessive wear caused by the harder abradable sealing coating and thereby improve the sealing performance of engines. Therefore, a Ni/cBN abrasive coating was prepared on titanium alloy using electrodeposition. The high-speed rubbing tests with a linear velocity of 350 m/s and different incursion rates were performed to investigate the effect of the Ni/cBN abrasive coating on the wear behavior against NiCrAl/diatomite seal coating. Results showed that melting wear and adhesive transfer occurred on the bare blades, causing the bare blade to suffer excessive wear. While the Ni/cBN abrasive coating exhibited superior wear resistance and cutting performance. The cBN grits pullout, the abrasion of Ni matrix and transfer of seal coating to the cBN grits were the main wear mechanism of the Ni/cBN abrasive coating. Additionally, it was found that the relationship between the incursion rate and high-speed rubbing behavior is quite different for the bare blade and Ni/cBN coating. The reason for the difference in wear behavior of bare blade and Ni/cBN coating at different incursion rates was discussed in detail.

Optimizing magnetoelastic properties by machine learning and high-throughput micromagnetic simulation

Magnetoelastic couplings in giant magnetostrictive materials(GMMs)attract significant interests due to their extensive applications in the fields of spintronics and energy harvesting *** the role of the selection of materials and the response to external fields is essential for attaining desired functionality of a ***,machine learning(ML)models are conducted to predict saturation magnetostrictions(λ_(s))in RFe_(2)-type(R=rare earth)GMMs with different *** to ML-predicted composition–λsrelations,it is discovered that the values ofλshigher than1100×10^(-6)are almost situated in the composition space surrounded by 0.26≤x≤0.60 and 1.90≤y≤2.00 for the ternary compounds of Tb_(x)Dy_(1-x)Fe_(y).Assisted by ML predictions,the compositions are further narrowed down to the space surrounded by 0.26≤x≤0.32 and 1.92≤y≤1.97 for the excellent piezomagnetic(PM)performance in the Tb_(x)Dy_(1-x)Fe_(y)based PM device through our developed high-throughput(HTP)micromagnetic simulation(MMS)***,high sensitivities up to10.22-13.61 m T·MPa^(-1)are observed in the optimized range within which the available experimental data fall *** work not only provides valuable insights toward understanding the mechanism of magnetoelastic couplings,but also paves the way for designing and optimizing highperformance magnetostrictive materials and PM sensing devices.

BACKGROUND An increasing number of studies have focused on the role of cellular metabolism in the development of colorectal cancer(CRC).However,no work is currently available to synthesize the field through *** To analyze the development in the field of“glucose metabolism”(GM),“amino acid metabolism”(AM),“lipid metabolism”(LM),and“nucleotide metabolism”(NM)in CRC by *** Articles within the abovementioned areas of GM,AM,LM and NM in CRC,which were published from January 1,1991,to December 31,2022,are retrieved from the Web of Science Core Collection and analyzed by CiteSpace 6.2.R4 and VOSviewer *** The field of LM in CRC presented the largest number of annual publications and the fastest increase in the last decade compared with the other three ***,China and the United States were two of the most prominent contri-butors in these four *** addition,Gang Wang,Wei Jia,Maria Notar-nicola,and Cornelia Ulrich ranked first in publication numbers,while Jing-Yuan Fang,Senji Hirasawa,Wei Jia,and Charles Fuchs were the most cited authors on average in these four fields,respectively.“Gut microbiota”and“epithelial-mesenchymal transition”emerged as the newest burst words in GM,“gut microbiota”was the latest outburst word in AM,“metastasis”,“tumor microenvironment”,“fatty acid metabolism”,and“metabolic reprogramming”were the up-to-date outbreaking words in LM,while“epithelial-mesenchymal transition”and“apoptosis”were the most recently occurring words in *** Research in“cellular metabolism in CRC”is all the rage at the moment,and researchers are particularly interested in exploring the mechanism to explain the metabolic alterations in *** metabolic vulnerability appears to be a promising direction in CRC therapy.

Sparse Reconstructive Evidential Clustering for Multi-View Data

Although many multi-view clustering(MVC) algorithms with acceptable performances have been presented, to the best of our knowledge, nearly all of them need to be fed with the correct number of clusters. In addition, these existing algorithms create only the hard and fuzzy partitions for multi-view objects,which are often located in highly-overlapping areas of multi-view feature space. The adoption of hard and fuzzy partition ignores the ambiguity and uncertainty in the assignment of objects, likely leading to performance degradation. To address these issues, we propose a novel sparse reconstructive multi-view evidential clustering algorithm(SRMVEC). Based on a sparse reconstructive procedure, SRMVEC learns a shared affinity matrix across views, and maps multi-view objects to a 2-dimensional humanreadable chart by calculating 2 newly defined mathematical metrics for each object. From this chart, users can detect the number of clusters and select several objects existing in the dataset as cluster centers. Then, SRMVEC derives a credal partition under the framework of evidence theory, improving the fault tolerance of clustering. Ablation studies show the benefits of adopting the sparse reconstructive procedure and evidence theory. Besides,SRMVEC delivers effectiveness on benchmark datasets by outperforming some state-of-the-art methods.
