Background Transradial coronary procedure （TRP） traumatizes the radial artery （RA）, especially resulting in changes to arterial wall morphology. This study explored the significance of the early onset of traumatic effects to wall layers of the RA following the first TRP （FTRP） and repeat TRP （RTRP） using very-high-frequency ultrabiomicroscopy （VHFUBM）. Methods A total of 1431 patients that re- ceived TRP were divided into the FTRP group that comprised 781 patients and the RTRP group that comprised 650 patients depending on the number of procedures. Two-dimensional RA images were acquired by 30-55 MHz ultrasound one day before and one day after the pro- cedure. Results After TRP, the incidence of intimal tears, medial dissections and external elastic lamina fracture were greater in the RTRP （P 〈 0.001）. The RTRP group showed significantly thicker intimal thickness （IT）, media thickness （MT）, adventitia thickness and all complex layer thicknesses as compared with the FTRP group （P 〈 0.001）. Conclusions Multivariate linear regression analysis discovered that repeated TRP and other observations were independent predictors of increased IT in post-operative RA. VHFUBM provides an approach to study structural and histopathological injury in the wall layers of RA which showed increased trauma to the RA following RTRP.

The first catalytic atroposelective synthesis of indole derivatives bearing N-N/C-C diaxes has been established by the strategy of de novo ring formation. By this strategy, various indolyl quinazolinones bearing vicinal N-N/C-C diaxes were synthesized in high yields with overall good diastereoselectivities and excellent enantioselectivities via chiral phosphoric acid-catalyzed onepot asymmetric formal (5+1) cycloaddition/oxidation reaction. Moreover, such indolyl quinazolinones bearing vicinal N-N/CC diaxes have good configurational stability and could be converted into new chiral ligands with applications in asymmetric catalysis. Therefore, this work not only offered a new member for the family of diaxial atropisomers, but also provided a powerful strategy for catalytic asymmetric synthesis of atropisomers bearing N-N/C-C diaxes.

Early identification of stroke through deep learning with multi-modal human speech and movement data

TanshinoneⅡA(TanⅡA) is a monomer isolated from Salvia miltiorrhiza Bunge(Danshen) with anti-cancer effects recently reported for a variety of cancer cell types in ***,the effects of TanⅡA on esophageal carcinoma cell lines are still *** the present study,we evaluated the effects of TanⅡA on two esophageal carcinoma cell lines(EC-1 cells and ECa-109) and explored its *** CCK-8 and colony formation assay indicated that TanⅡA inhibited the cell proliferation of human esophageal cancer cells(IC50 below lμg/ml) at *** 33258 and flow cytometry showed that Tan H A induced apoptosis in both esophageal cancer cell *** treatment with 1.3μg/ml TanⅡA for 48h,the apoptosis index increased from(5.68±0.42)%to(40.21±2.64)%in EC-1 cells and from(5.08±1.06)%to(60.62±3.81)%in ECa-109 cells.A cell cycle assay indicated that treatment of EC-1 and ECa-109 cells with 1.3μg/mL TanⅡA for 48h increased the percentage of cells in S phase[(46.44±2.26)%and(40.84±6.41)%,***(28.55±0.34)%and(33.89±1.98)%] and G/M phase[(14.11±1.56)%and(15.16±3.44)%,***(9.51±2.03)%and(8.99±1.62)%]. Western blot analysis showed that Aktl and its phosphorylation were inhibited,the Bax/Bcl-2 ratio increased,and both caspase9 and caspase3 were activated after treatment with 1.3μg/ml TanⅡA at ***,p53 and p21 protein levels increased,whereas,cyclin Bl,Cdc2,and Cdc2 phosphorylation were *** results show that Tan II A inhibits the growth of esophageal cancer cells and induces apoptosis in a time-dependent and concentration-dependent ***ⅡA can also induce changes in the cell cycle,increasing the percentage of cells in S and G/M *** results show that TanⅡA may be a new candidate for the treatment of esophageal cancer.

Early identification and treatment of stroke can greatly improve patient outcomes and quality of *** clinical tests such as the Cincinnati Pre-hospital Stroke Scale(CPSS)and the Face Arm Speech Test(FAST)are commonly used for stroke screening,accurate administration is dependent on specialized *** this study,we proposed a novel multimodal deep learning approach,based on the FAST,for assessing suspected stroke patients exhibiting symptoms such as limb weakness,facial paresis,and speech disorders in acute *** collected a dataset comprising videos and audio recordings of emergency room patients performing designated limb movements,facial expressions,and speech tests based on the *** compared the constructed deep learning model,which was designed to process multi-modal datasets,with six prior models that achieved good action classification performance,including the I3D,SlowFast,X3D,TPN,TimeSformer,and *** found that the findings of our deep learning model had a higher clinical value compared with the other ***,the multi-modal model outperformed its single-module variants,highlighting the benefit of utilizing multiple types of patient data,such as action videos and speech *** results indicate that a multi-modal deep learning model combined with the FAST could greatly improve the accuracy and sensitivity of early stroke identification of stroke,thus providing a practical and powerful tool for assessing stroke patients in an emergency clinical setting.

To explore the effect of arbutin(Arb) on lipopolysaccharide(LPS)-induced H9 c2 cell *** were divided into normal group,LPS group,LPS+Huangqi group,LPS+Arb group and the corresponding estrogen receptor-specific antagonist ICI182,780 *** viability was measured by a microplate reader to judge whether Arb has a protective effect on LPS-induced H9 c2 cell injury;cell apoptosis was detected by Flow Cytometry;the expression of apoptosis-related proteins,such as Caspase-9,Caspase-3,Bcl-2 and Bax were detected by In Cell *** showed that Arb could significantly reverse the decrease of LPS-induced H9 c2 cell viability and anti-apoptotic protein Bcl-2 and the increase of H9 c2 cells apoptosis rate and pro-apoptotic proteins such as Caspase-9 and ***,the above effects could be blocked by ICI182,*** study showed that Arb could significantly reduce LPS-induced H9 c2 apoptosis cells via estrogen receptor pathway.
