Unique Linguistic Awareness in the Israeli Media in the Corona Days and Tishrei Holidays

The article illustrates and analyzes neologisms created during the corona period and the Tishrei holidays(=September 2020),and published in Hebrew newspapers and social media in *** neologisms based on dismantling a bound collocation deliberately disrupt one or two of its *** corpus is a collection of 32 statements containing puns and neologisms based mainly on Hebrew sources and texts from the prayer,and a minority of familiar *** compositions have a strong rhetorical effect-the allusion connects to the holidays and the corona virus and creates a combined message in addition to the separate messages that emerge from each of the *** works are innovative,surprising,enjoyable and create an ironic ***,they are extensive and invite profound and complex thoughts.

Tif’alna Forms in Modern Hebrew

The article shows that speakers of Modern Hebrew continue to adhere to the tif’alna form that is characteristic of Biblical Hebrew,and not only when speaking or writing in a high *** counting of the occurrences of 19 tif’alna forms using Google’s search engine found thousands of quotations which,while mostly in a high register,also included examples of spoken language(which approximates to ladies and gentlemen),as well as language disruptions and the simpler yif’alu *** appears that the unceasing use of tif’alna forms today has links to the feminist revolution that showed its first signs in Israel in the ***’s organizations in Israel have come out against classical Hebrew’s generic form,which is *** use of the tif’alna form sits well with the modern trend of addressing a mixed audience twice over,as in ma’azinot u-ma’azinim.

The Revival of Ancient Hebrew Words With the Revival of Israel

In this study,all the words in the latest edition of the Hebrew Even Shoshan Dictionary(2003)were scanned and ancient words that were not used continuously throughout the Hebrew strata—used in Modern Hebrew in their old or new meaning—were *** finding the appropriate words,we examined their incidence in the Gur dictionary(1946)to ensure that the new meanings had not existed *** have determined the scope of usage by general knowledge and Google *** 99 ancient words with new meanings were identified,39 of which are foreign,according to this distribution:31 biblical words,44 words of the Sages,and 24 medieval *** parallel with the 70 years of Israel’s independence,many ancient words were reintroduced with new modern meanings,to answer the need to create terms for the institutions of the sovereign state and for the masses of Jewish immigrants who spoke foreign *** of the words are from the Mishnah period,the last period in which Hebrew was a living language and adopted foreign words from the developed and advanced cultures of its *** article presents the innovations of words in different fields,explains it,and answers another questions.
