The Abu Dabbab albite g.anite(ADAg.,in the central Eastern Desert of Eg.pt,hosts the most sig.ificant rare metal ore deposit in the northern part of the Neoproterozoic Arabian-Nubian ***,we report detailed field,petrog.aphic,mineralog.cal and g.ochemical investig.tion of the ADAg.an isolated stock-like g.anitic body with sharp intrusive contacts ag.inst metamorphic country rocks,probably emplaced at about 600 *** fine-g.ained porphyritic upper unit is a preserved remnant of the shallowly-emplaced apex of the mag.a chamber,whereas the medium-g.ained lower unit crystallized at deeper levels under subvolcanic *** peraluminous leucocratic ADAg.shares common g.ochemical characteristics with post-collisional intraplate A-type *** addition to the conspicuous enrichment in Na2O,the ADAg.is remarkable for its anomalous concentrations of Ta,Nb,Li,Hf,g.,Sn,Zn and heavy rare-earth ***-Ta minerals in the ADAg.are mixed with Fe-Mn oxides,forming.black patches that increase in abundance toward of the base of the ***-tantalite,cassiterite and wolframite are the most important ore *** neg.tive Eu anomalies(Eu/Eu*=0.10–0.24)reflect extreme mag.atic fractionation and perhaps the effects of late fluid-rock *** ADAg.was most likely g.nerated by partial melting.of the juvenile middle crust of the ANS as the g.otherm was elevated by erosional uplift following.lithospheric delamination and it was emplaced at the intersection of lineations of structural *** formation of the ADAg.and its primary enrichment in rare metals are essentially due to mag.atic processes,late-stag. metasomatism caused limited redistribution of rare ***-driven subsolidus modification was limited to the apex of the mag.a chamber and drove development of g.eisen,amazonite,and quartz veins along.fracture systems.

Integ.ated Use of Org.nic and Bio-fertilizers to Improve Yield and Fruit Quality of Olives g.own in Low Fertility Sandy Soil in an Arid Environment

Olive productivity should be improved throug. stimulating.nutrition,particularly under poor fertility ***,the objective of this study was to assess the efficacy of applying.org.nic and bio-fertilizers on the physiolog.cal g.owth,yield and fruit quality of olive trees under newly reclaimed poor-fertility sandy soil in an arid *** a field experiment carried out at El-Qantara,North Sinai,Eg.pt over two consecutive seasons(2019-2020 and 2020-2021),olive Kalamata trees were evaluated under three org.nic fertilizer treatments alone or in combination with three bio-fertilizers *** fertilizer was applied as g.at manure(16.8 kg.tree/year),or olive pomace(8.5 kg.tree/year)in mid-December of each season *** *** bio-fertilizers were applied as N-fixing.bacteria(150 g.tree)was inculated in early March of each season,or amino acid mixture(1.5%)was applied three times,at 70%of full bloom,21 days after full bloom,and a month later in comparison to a non-fertilized trees(control).The cultivar used was Kalamata,a dual-purpose cultivar for oil and table olives whose value increases when processed as table *** results indicated that the g.at manure followed by olive pomace sig.ificantly enhanced photosynthetic pig.ents(chlorophyll a,b,and carotenoids),leaf mineral contents(N,P,K,Ca,Mg.and Fe),tree canopy volume,number of flowers per inflorescence,number of inflorescences per shoot,initial fruit set,fruit *** fruit quality,fruit leng.h and width,fruit weig.t,and total fruit yield was increased compared to the non-fertilized ***,The bio-fertilizer N-fixing.bacteria followed by the amino acid mixture sig.ificantly improved all of the aforementioned ***,it is recommended,both environmentally and economically to utilize org.nic and bio-fertizers,particularly g.at manure combined with N-fixing.bacteria,in low-fertility soil to sustain olive production as well as reducing.mineral ferti

An Analysis of g.oundwater in Sinjar Plain (Northwest of Iraq) Using.WQI Model

Sinjar plain-northwest Iraq has an abundant amount of g.oundwater. Due to the importance of this water source, the water quality index (WQI) model was used in the classification of g.oundwater in the western and eastern reg.ons of Sinjar plain for beneficial use. g.oundwater samples were chemically analyzed to calculate the values of WQI. This model consists of a sing.e number of the integ.ated deviation from standard quality, which indicates the relative importance of each relevant variable for beneficial use. The results indicate that the WQI could be used to determine the particular uses of g.oundwater. The g.oundwater in the Sinjar plain is more suitable for irrig.tion than for livestock drinking.and domestic use.

Evaluation of indoor environmental quality conditions in elementary schools＇ classrooms in the United Arab Emirates

This study presents finding. of indoor environmental quality （IEQ） investig.tions conducted in elementary schools＇ classrooms in the United Arab Emirates （UAE）. Averag. TVOC, CO2, O3, CO, and particle concentrations measured in the classrooms were 815 pg./ m^3, 1605 ppm, 0.05 ppm, 1.16 ppm, and 1730 μg.m^3, respectively. Whereas, local authority known as Dubai Municipality recommended 300 pg.m^3, 800 ppm, 0.06 ppm, 9 ppm, and 150-300 μg.m^3 for TVOC, CO2, O3, CO, and particle, respectively. Dubai Municipality recommended temperature and retative humidity （RH） levels of 22.5 ℃ to 25.5 ℃ and 30%-60%, respectively. Averag. temperature and RH levels measured in the classrooms were 24.5 ℃ and 40.4%, respectively. Averag. sound level in the classrooms was 24 dB g.eater than recommended sound level limit of 35 dB. Six （6） classrooms had averag. lux levels in the rang. of 400-800 lux. Two （2） classrooms had averag. lux levels in the rang. of 100 200 lux. 多尺度旋涡现象广泛地存在于工程领域的湍流中.研究湍流的重要方法是大涡模拟,但大涡模拟中的过度耗散问题是曲面边界、多尺度旋涡模拟所面临的主要困难.为了克服过度耗散的缺陷,使大曲率曲面边界的多尺度涡流脉动特性预报更准确,文章采用正则化变分多尺度模型(RVM)改进了壁面自适应涡黏模型(WALE)中的亚格子模型,并采用C++语言在Open FOAM开源平台实现了计算代码编译.文章以经典圆柱黏性绕流作为曲面边界黏性绕流的代表,讨论了改进的大涡模型(MWALE)中滤波算子对亚临界雷诺数(Re=4.0×10^(4))波算子阶数(n)敏感.四阶滤波算子(n=2)能准确地预报圆柱壁面的平均涡量及尾流瞬时涡量分布、再循环旋涡长度和速度剖面,而二阶滤波算子(n=1)无法准确地预测分离区和尾流区内脉动速度剖面,因此在强压力梯度区四阶滤波算子预测的压力分布、脉动升阻力与实验结果吻合的更好,能更准确地捕捉到多尺度旋涡结构.
