Structural and electrical investigation of BLT films deposited at different times using electron beam evaporation technique

Thin films Bi_(4)Ti_(3)O_(12)(BLT) were deposited using electron beam evaporation on silicon substrate at several times,also on AlN/Si and SiO_(2)/Si substrates.Thin films morphology and thickness were measured via scanning electron microscopy(SEM).The crystallography was studied using X-ray diffraction(XRD) technique for films which have a(0010) preferred orientation in all substrate types.The capacitance values were contingent on frequency value in C-V measurement.The ferroelectric characterization was investigated for BLT film deposited on isolator layer(SiO_(2) or AlN) for Al/Bi_(4)Ti_(3)O_(12)/SiO_(2)/Si devices.Memory effect value varied from 1 V to 3 V depending on the thin films isolator on substrate.

Synthesis of PbS:ZnO nanotrees by thermal evaporation:morphological,structural and optical properties

Nanotrees ZnO films are synthesized by thermal evaporation method on silicon and glass substrates-PbS powder(5 wt%)is used to obtain the nanostructure and growth modifications·ZnO films are compared with non-doped ones(ZnO film was dense structure without nanotrees).The deposited PbS:ZnO films exhibit polycrystalline orientation using X-ray diffraction(XRD),but the films without doping was less crystalline quality·Scanning electron microscopy(SEM)and atomic force microscopy(AFM)were used to characterize the morphology·SEM images(surface and cross section)was confirmed the nanotrees form for doped ZnO film.Energy dispersive X-ray detector(EDX)was used to verify the composition of prepared films·Ultraviolet-visible(UV-Vis),photoluminescence(PL)and micro Raman techniques were used to investigate the optical properties·The PL spectra intensities were found to increase for PbS:ZnO nanotrees.Up to our knowledge,no work has been published regarding the obtained ZnO nanotrees using Pb S as dopant via simple thermal evaporation method.

Effects of Guar (<i>Cyamopsis tetragonoloba</i>) Residues on the Performance and Nutrients Digestibility in Finishing Awassi Lambs

The nutritive quality of guar (Cyamopsis tetragonoloba) residues (GR) was investigated and the effects of partial replacement of wheat straw by GR on nutrients intake, digestibility, and growth performance. Twenty four male lambs, with average body weight (BW) of 40.3 ± 2.5 kg were divided into three groups. Lambs were fed individually for 104 days with concentrate mixture (18% crude protein) and wheat straw as a total mixed ration. Wheat straw was replaced with 0, 100 and 145 g/kg dry matter guar residues. All rations were isonitrogenous and isocaloric. The fattening trial lasted 104 days. At the end of week 10 of the trail, a digestion trial was performed using six lambs from each group. The composition of nutrients in the GR was 87%, 8.5%, 56.4% and 40.1% for DM, CP, NDF and ADF, respectively. DM and crude protein (CP) intake were not affected by the inclusion of GR. However, neutral detergent fibre (NDF) and acid detergent fibre (ADF) intake were lower in lambs fed GR compared to control lambs. At the end of the experiment, lambs fed 100 and 145 g GR/kg DM diets gained more weight (P version (CR). Results from this work suggested that GR had advantages compared to regular roughage (wheat straw) in regard to parameters investigated as well as the significant reduction in fattening diets cost.

Radiation therapy after conservative breast surgery is an integral part of the treatment of early breast cancer. The aim of radiotherapy is to achieve the best coverage of the Planning Target Volume (PTV), while reducing the dose to the Organs at Risk (OAR).
