In recent building practice,rapid construction is one of the principal ***,in designing concrete structures,compressive strength is the most significant of all *** 3-d and 7-d compressive strength reflects the strengths at early phases,the ultimate strength is *** effort has been made in this study to develop mathematical models for predicting compressive strength of concrete incorporating ethylene vinyl acetate(EVA)at the later ***-Smirnov(KS)goodness-of-fit test was used to examine distribution of the *** compressive strength of EVA-modified concrete was studied by incorporating various concentrations of EVA as an admixture and by testing at ages of 28,56,90,120,210,and 365 *** accelerated compressive strength at 3.5 hours was considered as a reference strength on the basis of which all the specified strengths were predicted by means of linear regression *** on the results of KS goodness-of-fit test,it was concluded that KS test statistics value(D)in each case was lower than the critical value 0.521 for a significance level of 0.05,which demonstrated that the data was normally *** on the results of compressive strength test,it was concluded that the strength of EVA-modified specimens increased at all ages and the optimum dosage of EVA was achieved at 16%***,it was concluded that predicted compressive strength values lies within a 6%difference from the actual strength values for all the mixes,which indicates the practicability of the regression *** research work may help in understanding the role of EVA as a viable material in polymer-based cement composites.

Near-equiatomic NiTi shape memory alloys are known to exhibit Lüders-type deformation associated with a stress-induced *** studies have been conducted in the past mainly focusing on the macroscopic characteristics of the phenomenon and some theories have been proposed in the literature to explain its mechanisms,but some aspects of this phenomenon are still unclear,particularly at the microscopic *** study investigated the local strain evolution during the initiation and propagation of Lüders band in a pseudoelastic NiTi alloy during tensile deformation by means of digital image correlation(DIC)*** on the evidence collected,distinct stages of Lüders band formation and propagation are defined and the corresponding local strain rates are *** local strain rates are much higher than the global strain rate of the testing,giving insight to the mechanism of this phenomenon.

In this article, we discuss the existence and uniqueness of solutions for a coupled two-parameter system of sequential fractional integro-differential equations supplemented with nonlocal integro-multipoint boundary conditions. The standard tools of the fixed-point theory are employed to obtain the main results. We emphasize that our results are not only new in the given configuration, but also correspond to several new special cases for specific values of the parameters involved in the problem at hand.

Calotropis procera, commonly known as "milkweed", possesses long seed trichomes for seed dispersal and has the ability to survive under harsh conditions such as drought and salinity. Aquaporins are water channel proteins expressed in all land plants, divided into five subfamilies plasma membrane intrinsic proteins (PIPs), tonoplast intrinsic proteins (TIPs), NOD26-like proteins (NIPs), small basic intrinsic proteins (SIPs), and the unfamiliar X intrinsic proteins (XIPs). PIPs constitute the largest group of water channel proteins that are involved in different developmental and regulatory mechanisms including water permeability, cell elongation, and stomata opening. Aquaporins are also involved in abiotic stress tolerance and cell expansion mechanisms, but their role in seed trichomes (fiber cells) has never been investigated. A large number of clones isolated from C. procera fiber cDNA library showed sequence homology to PIPs. Both expressed sequence tags (ESTs) and real-time polymerase chain reaction (PCR) studies revealed that the transcript abundance of this gene family in fiber cells of C. procera is greater than that of cotton. Full-length cDNAs of CpPIP1 and CpPIP2 were isolated from C. procera fiber cDNA library and used for constructing plant expression vectors under constitutive (2×35S) and trichome-specific (GhLTP3) promoters. Transgenic tobacco plants were developed via Agrobacterium-mediated transformation. The phenotypic characteristics of the plants were observed after confirming the integration of transgene in plants. It was observed that CpPIP2 expression cassette under 2×35S and GhLTP3 promoter enhanced the numbers of stem and leave trichomes. However, 2×35S::CpPIP2 has a more amplified effect on trichome density and length than GhLTP3::CpPIP2 and other PIP constructs. Measuring acoustic emission(AE)of partial discharge(PD)phenomena can be adopted to estimate the condition of power ***,the environmental noise encountered with AE of PD measurements negatively affects the accuracy of PD localisation and ***,efficient signal denoising techniques are required for noise suppression and hence,better detection *** study deals with white noise and it is a continuation of a previously published work that deals with random *** published work addresses the random noise suppression using a method named,power spectral subtraction denoising(PSSD).This study applies PSSD to the PD signals contaminated with white noise and uses a novel scheme of noise power spectrum density *** types of AE signals are examined including signals produced by corona,surface,parallel,and void *** and real data demonstrate the superiority of the proposed method over the wavelet shrinkage denoising method as it can more effectively eliminate white noise and preserve signals of low signal-to-noise ratio.

A bipolar single-valued neutrosophic set can deal with the hesitation relevant to the information of any decision making problem in real life scenarios,where bipolar fuzzy sets may fail to handle those hesitation *** this study,we first develop a new method for solving linear programming problems based on bipolar singlevalued neutrosophic ***,we apply the score function to transform bipolar single-valued neutrosophic problems into crisp linear programming ***,we apply the proposed technique to solve fully bipolar single-valued neutrosophic linear programming problems with non-negative triangular bipolar single-valued neutrosophic numbers(TBSvNNs)and non-negative trapezoidal bipolar single-valued neutrosophic numbers(TrBSvNNs).

膀胱癌是一种威胁人类健康的恶性肿瘤,具有较高的发病率和死亡率,且现阶段其诊疗费用也居高不下。在工业化国家,90%的膀胱癌属于移行细胞癌。据美国癌症协会估计,在2020年,膀胱癌新增病例将达81400例,其中女性约19300例,男性约62100例,此外将有大约17980人死于膀胱癌,其中男13050人,女4930人。报道显示,膀胱癌的死亡率处于总体稳定状态,膀胱癌女性新发人数和与膀胱癌相关的死亡人数近年来略有下降,男性的发病率也在下降,尽管如此,作为男性第四大常见癌症,膀胱癌在发病率上略高于女性。膀胱癌的主要危险因素包括接触职业、环境致癌物以及烟草。膀胱癌患者多经肉眼血尿（尿中带血）确诊,确诊后一般行经尿道行膀胱肿瘤电切术（TURBT）进行手术治疗。膀胱癌根据浸润程度分为非肌层浸润型和肌层浸润型,且这些亚型具有不同的分子生物学机制和病理特征。癌症基因组图谱计划已经确定了膀胱癌的基因驱动因素,更好地了解膀胱癌的基因可以带来新的治疗方法。先前发表的数据表明,ZFP36L1在膀胱癌是高频突变基因之一,属于ZFP36家族,该家族成员包括ZFP36、ZFP36L1和ZFP36L2。这些是具有两个串联锌指（TZF）区域的CCCH型锌指蛋白。这些蛋白质可以通过与富含AU的区域结合而破坏mRNA的分子稳定性。ZFP36家族在先前作为多种肿瘤的抑制性因子被报道;在正常组织中,ZFP36家族在膀胱、结肠和肺中高度表达。同理,ZFP36L1的低表达标志着ZFP36L1表达水平异常预示着较差的患者生存率和预后。在本实验中,我们发现ZFP36L1在膀胱癌样本中的表达明显低于其对应的正常膀胱组织。因此,我们推测ZFP36L1的低水平表达与癌细胞的自我更新能力、分化、侵袭和细胞迁移能力有关。此外,我们还发现ZFP36L1在体外对膀胱癌细胞增殖有抑制作用。通过克隆形成实验、Oncosphere形成实验、Transwell侵袭实验中提高ZFP36L1的表达水平,结果显示ZFP36L1抑制了膀胱癌细胞株的自我更新能力,促进了膀胱癌细胞株的侵袭能力。而ZFP36L1的敲除促进了膀胱癌细胞的自我更新能力,抑制了膀胱癌细胞的迁移和侵袭能力。Nanog是已知的调节肿瘤干细胞自我更新的基因,RNA表达分析显示,ZFP36L1的过表达使Nanog的表达下调。由于ZFP36L1是一种可以破坏mRNA稳定的蛋白质,所以它必须与mRNA共同作用来影响细胞的生长能力。综上所述,我们的研究结果表明,ZFP36L1和Nanog在膀胱癌细胞迁移、侵袭和自我更新能力方面可能存在联系,这种关系可能会影响患者的总生存率。

We aim to review the literature and provide guidance on preventive health measures in inflammatory bowel disease(IBD). Structured searches were performed in Pub Med,MEDLINE,EMBASE,Web of Science and Cochrane Library from January 1976 to June 2016 using the following keywords:(inflammatory bowel disease OR Crohn's disease OR ulcerative colitis) AND(health maintenance OR preventive health OR health promotion). Abstracts of the articles selected from each of these multiple searches were reviewed,and those meeting the inclusion criteria(that is,providing data regarding preventive health or health maintenance in IBD patients) were recorded. Reference lists from the selected articles were manually reviewed to identify further relevant studies. Patients with IBD are at increased risk of developing adverse events related to the disease course,therapeutic interventions,or non-adherence to medication. Recent studies have suggested that IBD patients do not receive preventive services with the same thoroughness as patients with other chronic diseases. Preventive health measures can avert morbidity and improve the quality of life of patients with IBD. Gastroenterologists and primary care physicians(PCPs) should have an up to date working knowledge of preventive health measures for IBD patients. A holistic approach and better communication between gastroenterologists and PCPs with explicit clarification of roles will prevent duplication of services and streamline care.
