Deep phenotyping and genetic characterization of individuals are fundamental to assessing the metabolic status and determining nutrition-specific requirements. This study aimed to ascertain the utmost effectiveness of personalized interventions by aligning dietary adjustments with both the genotype and metabolotype of individuals. Therefore， we assessed here the usefulness of a polygenic score (PGS) characterizing a potential pro-inflammatory profile (PGSi) as a nutrigenetic tool to discern individuals from the Danish PREVENTOmICS cohort that could better respond to precision nutrition (PN) plans， specifically targeted at counteracting the low-grade inflammatory profile typically found in obesity. The cohort followed a PN plan to counteract the pro-inflammatory profile (PNi group) or generic dietary recommendations (Control) for 10 weeks. PGSi was applied for genetic stratification (low/High). The effects of the intervention on anthropometrics and biomarkers related to inflammatory profile and carbohydrate metabolism were assessed. Around 30% of subjects had a high genetic predisposition to pro-inflammatory status (high-PGSi). These individuals demonstrated the most effective response to the dietary plan， experiencing improved body composition， with significant decreases in body weight (△: -4.84%; p=0.039) and body fat (△: -4.86%; p=0.007)， and beneficial changes in pro- and anti-inflammatory biomarkers， with significant increases in Il-10 (△: 71.3%; p=0.025) and decreases in TNF-α (△: -3.0%; p=0.048)， CRP (△: -31.1%)， ICAm1 (△: -5.8%)， and mCP1 (△: -4.2%) circulating levels， compared to low-PGSi individuals. Both phenotypic and genetic stratification contributed to a better understanding of metabolic heterogeneity in response to diet. This approach allows for refinement of the prediction of individual requirements and potentially for better management of obesity.

The study of the propagation of infectious diseases in urban centers finds a close connection with their population's social characteristics and *** work performs a spatial analysis of dengue cases in urban centers based on the basic reproduction numbers,R0,and incidence by planning areas(PAs),as well as their correlations with the Human Development Index(HDI)and the number of *** analyzed dengue epidemics in 2002 at two Brazilian urban centers,Belo Horizonte(BH)and Rio de Janeiro(RJ),using PAs as spatial *** results reveal heterogeneous spatial scenarios for both cities,with very weak correlations between R0 and both the number of trips and the HDI;in BH,the values of R0 show a less spatial heterogeneous pattern than in *** BH,there are moderate correlations between incidence and both the number of trips and the HDI;meanwhile,they weakly correlate for ***,the absence of strong correlations between the considered measures indicates that the transmission process should be treated considering the city as a whole.

AIm: Peroxynitrite (ONOO-) is a powerful oxidant shown to damage membranes. In the present study, the effect of taurine on changes of liver plasma membrane Na+, K+-ATPase induced by ONOO- was investigated. mETHODS: liver plasma membrane was exposed toONOO-with or without taurine. Na+, K+-ATPase activity and lipid peroxidation as thiobarbituric acid reactive substances (TBARS) levels were ***: Different concentrations of ONOO- (100, 200,500, and 1 000 μmol/l) were found to decrease liver plasma membrane Na+, K+-ATPase activity significantly. The depletion of enzyme activity was not concentration dependent. Effects of different concentrations of taurine on liver plasma membrane Na+, K+-ATPase activity were also measured. Taurine did not cause any increase in enzyme activity. When plasma membranes were treated with 200 μmol/l ONOO- with different concentrations of taurine, a restoring effect of taurine on enzyme activity was observed. TBARS levels were also measured and taurine was found to decrease the elevated values. CONClUSION: Taurine is observed to act as an antioxidant of ONOO-to decrease lipid peroxidation and thus affect liver plasma membrane Na+, K+-ATPase by restoring its activity.

The joint European Space Agency and Chinese Academy of Sciences Solar wind magnetosphere Ionosphere link Explorer(SmIlE)mission will explore global dynamics of the magnetosphere under varying solar wind and interplanetary magnetic field conditions,and simultaneously monitor the auroral response of the Northern Hemisphere *** these large-scale responses with medium and fine-scale measurements at a variety of cadences by additional ground-based and space-based instruments will enable a much greater scientific impact beyond the original goals of the SmIlE ***,we describe current community efforts to prepare for SmIlE,and the benefits and context various experiments that have explicitly expressed support for SmIlE can offer.A dedicated group of international scientists representing many different experiment types and geographical locations,the Ground-based and Additional Science Working Group,is facilitating these *** include constructing an online SmIlE Data Fusion Facility,the discussion of particular or special modes for experiments such as coherent and incoherent scatter radar,and the consideration of particular observing strategies and spacecraft *** anticipate growing interest and community engagement with the SmIlE mission,and we welcome novel ideas and insights from the solar-terrestrial community.

目的：探讨内镜下联合应用射频消融系统（RFA）和内镜下黏膜切除术治疗范围广泛的非表浅平坦型早期食管鳞状细胞癌及癌前病变的治疗效果。方法北京协和医学院中国医学科学院肿瘤医院内镜科于2010年1月对经活检病理确诊的2例鳞状细胞癌、1例鳞状上皮中度不典型增生（mGIN）和1例鳞状上皮重度不典型增生（HGIN）患者予以内镜下RFA术联合内镜黏膜切除术治疗，总结分析术中、术后和随访情况。结果4例患者均顺利完成治疗，其中RFA时间为3～12（8．3） min，内镜下黏膜切除术时间6～20（10．3） min；所有病例均无出血和穿孔的发生。2例鳞状细胞癌患者病变长度分别为12和8 cm，非表浅平坦性病变长度分别为3和4 cm；mGIN患者的病变长度6 cm ，非表浅平坦性病变长度2 cm；HGIN患者的病变长度12 cm ，非表浅平坦型病变长度1 cm；术后病理与术前活检病理一致。4例术后均出现狭窄，其中2例为轻度狭窄，未予处理；2例为重度狭窄，行内镜下水囊扩张术均缓解。平均住院时间3d。3例经过3月及1年以上随访，治疗区域活检病理均达到完全缓解；余1例术后3月复查可见散在的碘染色阳性灶，活检病理为HGIN，分别追加RFA治疗后达到完全缓解。结论 RFA联合内镜下黏膜切除术治疗大面积非表浅平坦型早期食管鳞状细胞癌和癌前病变是安全有效的。

Ba-REE fluorcarbonate minerals from a carbonatite dyke at Bayan Obo, Inner mongolia, North China, are first reported in this contribution, in which chemical composition, rare earth element (REE) patterns, and intergrowth relationships for these minerals have been investigated. Syntactic intergrowth or syntaxy between cebaite and cordylite, as well as cordylite and huanghoite were observed. This syntactic texture resulted from the variation of chemical composition of crystallizing agents for those minerals that crystallized directly from carbonatite magmas. It is worth noting that REE patterns of the Ba-REE fluorcarbonate minerals in the dyke are similar to those of the corresponding minerals from the ore hosted dolomite marble of the Bayan Obo giant REE-Nb-Fe mineral deposit, which implies their relation in origin.

Fully printed perovskite solar cells(PSCs)were fabricated in air with all constituent layers,except for electrodes,deposited by the blade coating *** PSCs incorporated,for the first time,a nanometer-thick printed bathocuproine(BCP)hole blocking buffer using blade coating and deposited at relative humidity up to 50%.The PSCs with a p-i-n structure(glass/indium tin oxide(ITO)/poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)polystyrene sulfonate(PEDOT:PSS)/CH_(3)NH_(3)Pbl_(3)/[6,6]-phenyl-C_(61)-butyric acid methyl ester(PCBm)/BCP/Ag)delivered a maximum power conversion efficiency(PCE)of 14.9%on an active area of 0.5 cm^(2)when measured under standard test *** PSCs with a blade coated BCP delivered performance of 10%and 63%higher(in relative terms)than those incorporating a spin coated BCP or without any BCP film,*** atomic force microscopy(AFm)showed that blade coated films were more homogeneous and acted also as a surface planarizer leading to a reduction of roughness which improved BCP/Ag interface lowering charge *** demonstration of 15%efficient devices with all constituent layers,including nanometer-thick BCP(〜10 nm),deposited by blade coating in air,demonstrates a route for industrialization of this technology.

目的探讨内镜下应用HAlO射频消融系统（Radiofrequency Ablation，RFA）治疗范围广泛的早期表浅平坦型（0-Ⅱb）食管鳞状细胞癌及癌前病变的治疗效果。方法对中国医学科学院肿瘤医院自2008年10月至2011年6月应用HAlO射频消融系统治疗的33例早期食管鳞状细胞癌（early esophageal squamous cell cancer，EESCC）、重度不典型增生（high grade dysplasia，HGD）及中度不典型增生（middle grade dysplasia，mGD）患者的临床资料进行分析，观察治疗后1年病变组织学上完全缓解率（CR）及并发症情况。结果33例患者中，男26例，女7例，年龄平均61岁，mGD10例，HGD17例，EESCC6例，病变长度3～12（平均7．9）cm，治疗区域长度5～14（平均9．9）cm，累及食管周径平均11／12周。33例患者首次治疗手术时间11～57（平均30）min，平均住院时间3天。首次治疗后3个月内镜随访CR达69．7％（23／33），随访期间追加治疗1—4（平均2．7）次，12个月内镜随访时CR达93．9％（31／33）。4例（12％）术后出现重度狭窄，行内镜下水囊扩张术3—12（平均7）次，扩张后均缓解。无其他并发症发生。结论RFA治疗范围广泛的0-Ⅱb型早期食管鳞状细胞癌和癌前病变是安全的、有效的且是一项对于操作者技术要求较低的技术，扩大了内镜微创治疗的适应证。
