There is a strong evidence supporting the hypothesis of synaptic dysfunction as a major contributor to neural circuit and network disruption underlying emotional and mood dysregulation in psychiatric disorders(Simmons et al.,2024).Diverse sets of distinct molecular signaling pathways converge on the synapse to regulate synaptogenesis,synaptic function,and synaptic plasticity in brain regions and circuits through complex interactions organized by numerous multivalent protein scaffolds,including the family of proteins known as A-kinase anchoring proteins(AKAps).

The present work covers the preparation of carbon-based nanosorbents by ethylene decomposition on stainless steel mesh without the use of external catalyst for the treatment of water containing nickel ions （Ni2＋）. The reaction temperature was varied from 650 to 850℃, while reaction time and ethylene to nitrogen flow ratio were maintained at 30 rain and 1：1 cma/min, respectively. Results show that nanosorbents synthesised at a reaction temperature of 650℃ had the smallest average diameter （75 nm）, largest BET surface area （68.95 m2/g） and least amount of impurity （0.98 wt.% Fe）. A series of batch sorption tests were performed to evaluate the effects of initial pH, initial metal concentration and contact time on Ni2~ removal by the nanosorbents. The equilibrium data fitted well to Freundlich isotherm. The kinetic data were best correlated to a pseudo second-order model indicating that the process was of chemisorption type. Further analysis by the Boyd kinetic model revealed that boundary layer diffusion was the controlling step. This primary study suggests that the prepared material with Freundiich constants compared well with those in the literature, is a promising sorbent for the sequestration of Ni2＋ in aqueous solutions.

Hot-extruded magnesium alloy AZ31 bar was cut into hexagonal prisms and then compressed at room temperature with the loading direction parallel to the extrusion direction(ED)or perpendicular to *** effective stress and strain evolution at center and corner region of the hexagonal prisms was simulated by using DEFORM 3D,while microstructure evolution was characterized by electron backscatter diffraction(EBSD).Relationship between twinning behavior and stress-strain evolution during compression at room temperature was *** results indicated that the compressive stress and strain levels at central region of hexagonal prisms were lower than those at the corner *** examination revealed that{10-12}twins activate during the compression and the volume fraction of twins at corner parts were less than that at the central parts,which was attributed to twin thickening and coalescence ***,the EBSD map indicated that the arise of{10-11}contraction twins and{10-11}-{10-12}double twins in compressed samples,especially in the corner region with loading axis perpendicular to ED,which were considered to be related to the high stress level at corner *** dislocation slips led to low-angle boundaries in lA⊥ED and lA//ED.

In spite of the importance of studying the cosmic generation of heavy elements through the r-process,the detection of a kilonova resulting from the merger of a neutron star binary is still a challenging *** this paper,we show that the Visible Telescope(VT)onboard the ongoing SVOM space mission is powerful for identifying kilonova candidates associated with short gamma-ray bursts up to a distance of 600 Mpc.A significant color variation,turning blue and then turning red,is revealed by calculating the light curves in both red and blue channels of VT by a linear combination of an afterglow and an associated *** maximum color variation is as high as~0.5-1 mag,which is far larger than the small photometry error of~0.2 mag of VT for a point source with a brightness of 23 *** to a distance of 600 Mpc,~1-2 kilonova candidates per year are predicted to be identified by VT.

With the technology support of virtual reality and ANSyS software, an example on the simulation of temperature distribution of casting system during the solidification process was provided, which took the latent heat of phase change, the conditions for convection, and the interface heat transfer coefficient into consideration. The result of ANSyS was found to agree well with the test data. This research offers an unorthodox way or ＂reverse method＂ of defining the relevant thermal physical coefficient.

Opening holes in rock including their size and distribution can affect the performance of rock-related structures.A good understanding on this will contribute to,for example,rock cavern design,and construction,tunnelling,and mining *** improve the understanding,a comprehensive investigation of the opening hole effect on the rock mechanical behaviour under biaxial loading condition is carried out by virtue of a hybrid continuum-discrete element *** specimens with both single hole and multi-hole of various radii are investigated and compared with the cases subjected to uniaxial *** is demonstrated that the confining pressure can increase both the stiffness and strength due to delaying the crack initiation and *** increase due to the confining pressure is more evident for the compressive *** single hole specimens with 0.75 mm radius hole,the increase ratio of the compressive strength is a linear increasing function with width and the increase ratio ranges from 2.15 for the specimen with 3.5 mm width to 2.45 for 10 mm *** the single hole specimen with 10 mm width,the increase ratio starts at 2.13 for the specimen with 0.75 mm radius hole,ascending to the peak of 2.37 for the specimen with 1 mm radius hole,followed by a decline to 2.2 for the specimen with 1.25 mm radius ***,for the multi-hole specimens,the increase ratio varies from 1.66 to *** addition,to verify the influence of confining pressure magnitude on the performance of the rock specimens,totalling 10 confining pressure levels are applied and *** simulation results show that even though there are opening holes in the specimens,the simulated compressive strength generally follows the generalised Hoek-Brown model.
