Fatty acid and amino acid profiling,antioxidant activity and other quality characteristics of vacuum packed cheddar style-yak milk cheese during ripening

This study aimed to formulate Cheddar-style cheese from standardised yak milk(casein-fat ratio:0.7)and examined different quality parameters during 5 months ripening at 7±1℃.The chemical components viz.,fat,protein,ash,and salt contents,increased significantly(p˂0.05),whereas the moisture content decreased considerably(p˂0.05)during ***,pH,titratable acidity[lactic acid(%by weight)],soluble protein(%),ripening index,tyrosine value(μg/g),total free fatty acids(μm/g),and peroxide value(mEq of O_(2)/kg)increased considerably(p˂0.05)during *** and mould count(logCFU/g)showed a significant(p˂0.05)increase,while the coliform count(logCFU/g)were undetectable at the end of ***,cheese textural attributes and colour value(L^(*),a^(*)and b^(*))also decreased significantly(p˂0.05).The protein hydrolysis pattern in cheese was detected using *** water-soluble extracts of cheese exhibited significant antioxidant ***(27.2%)and oleic acid(24.4%)were the prominent fatty acids detected in higher concentrations at the end of *** majority of amino acids such as glutamic acid and histidine,were also retained in the *** sensory ratings of cheese significantly increased as ripening proceeded,and the formulated product was acceptable for up to 120 days.

Nanosized metal （Pt or Pd）-decorated TiO2 nanofibers （NFs） were synthesized by a wet impregnation method. CdSe quantum dots （QDs） were then anchored onto the metal-decorated TiO2 NFs. The photocatalytic performance of these catalysts was tested for activation and reduction of CO2 under UV-b light. Gas chromatographic analysis indicated the formation of methanol, formic acid, and methyl formate as the primary products. In the absence of CdSe QDs, Pd-decorated TiO2 NFs were found to exhibit enhanced performance compared to Pt-decorated TiO2 NFs for methanol production. However, in the presence of CdSe, Pt-decorated TiO2 NFs exhibited higher selectivity for methanol, typically producing -90 ppmg^-1.h^-1 methanol. The CO2 photoreduction mechanism is proposed to take place via a hydrogenation pathway from first principles calculations, which complement the experimental observations.

Rheumatic heart disease(RHD)is a major cause of cardiovascular morbidity and mortality in developing nations like *** commonly affects the mitral valve which is lined by a single layer of endothelial cells(ECs).The role of ECs in mitral valve damage during RHD is not well *** here,anti-endothelial cell antibody from RHD patients has been used to stimulate the ECs(HUVECs and HMVECs).ECs proinflammatory phenotype with increased expression of TNFa,IL-6,IL-8,IFNg,IL-1b,ICAM1,VCAM1,E-selectin,laminin b,and vimentin was documented in both *** promoter hypomethylation of various key inflammatory cytokines(TNFa,IL-6,and IL-8),integrin(ICAM1)associated with leukocyte transendothelial migration,and extracellular matrix genes(vimentin,and laminin)were also ***,the in-vitro data was in accordance with ex-vivo observations which correlated significantly with the etiological factors such as smoking,socioeconomic status,and ***,the study sheds light on the role of ECs in RHD which is a step forward in the elucidation of disease pathogenesis.

Soil test crop response （STCR） correlation studies were carried out in Vindhyan alluvial plain during 2001 to 2004 taking IR-36 as test crop to quantify rice production in the context of the variability of soil properties and use of balanced fertilizers based on targeted yield concept. The soils were developed on gently sloping alluvial plain with different physiographic settings and notable variation in drainage condition. Soil properties show moderate variation in texture （loamy to clay）, organic carbon content （4.4 to 9.8 g/kg）, cation exchange capacity （10,2 to 22.4 cmol （p＋）/kg） and pH （5.3 to 6,4）, Soil fertility status for N is low to medium （224 to 348 kg/ha）, P is medium to high （87 to 320 kg/ha） and K ranges from medium to high （158 to 678 kg/ha）. Database regarding nutrient requirement in kg/t of grain produce （NR）, the percent contribution from the soil available nutrients [CS （%）] and the percent contribution from the applied fertilizer nutrients [CF （%）] were computed for calibrating and fbrmulating fertilizer recommendations. Validity of the yield target for 7 and 8 t/ha was tested in farmers＇ fields and yields targets varied at less than 10%. The percent achievement of targets aimed at different level was more than 90%, indicating soil test based fertilizer recommendation approach was economically viable within the agro-ecological zone with relatively uniform cropping practices and socio-economic conditions.
