The CoFe_2alloy（CF） was prepared by reducing CoFe_2O_4 in the H_2 ambient. Subsequently the CF sample was nitrided in the NH_3 atmosphere to produce the composite of CoFe_2N and CoFe_2. The magnetostriction, thermal expansion, resistivity and corrosion resistance of CF sample and the nitrided sample（CFN）at 1000？C were investigated. The saturation magnetostriction coefficiency λ_s and thermal expansion coefficient ？ at 300 K for the nitrided CFN were 50 ppm and 10 ppm/K, respectively, approximately equal to those for the CF sample. However, compared with CF, CFN presents a decrease in temperature coefficient R_λ（300 K） of magnetostriction by 11%. The smaller resistivity and improved corrosion resistance in the H_2SO_4 solution may expand the applications of the CoFe_2 in the fields needing lower resistivity or in the acidic environment.

Two-terminal(2-T)perovskite(PVK)/CuIn(Ga)Se_(2)(CIGS)tandem solar cells(TSCs)have been considered as an ideal tandem cell because of their best bandgap matching regarding to Shockley–queisser(S–q)***,the nature of the irregular rough morphology of commercial CIGS prevents people from improving tandem device *** this paper,D-homoserine lactone hydrochloride is proven to improve coverage of PVK materials on irregular rough CIGS surfaces and also passivate bulk defects by modulating the growth of PVK *** addition,the minority carriers near the PVK/C60 interface and the incompletely passivated trap states caused interface recombination.A surface reconstruction with 2-thiopheneethylammonium iodide and N,N-dimethylformamide assisted passivates the defect sites located at the surface and grain ***,LiF is used to create this field effect,repelling hole carriers away from the PVK and C60 interface and thus reducing *** a result,a 2-T PVK/CIGS tandem yielded a power conversion efficiency of 24.6%(0.16 cm^(2)),one of the highest results for 2-T PVK/CIGS TSCs to our *** validation underscores the potential of our methodology in achieving superior performance in PVK/CIGS tandem solar cells.

The bulk multilayered Al/Fe-Mo-Si-b alloy with nanostructure was prepared by annealing the alternate layers consisting of metal Al and amorphous (Fe-0.99,Mo-0.01)(78)Si9b13 alloy ribbons for 30 min at 873 K under pressure of 3 similar to 5.5 GPa. The structures and grain sizes of the Fe-Mo Si-b nanocrystalline alloy were measured and analyzed. It was found that the pressure could restrain the growth of the grains and influence the formation of phases. The dependence of grain sizes for alpha-Fe(Mo,Si) and Fe2b on pressure was given. The morphologies of Al/Fe-Mo-Si-b nanocrystalline alloy interfaces were observed by SEM. Two interfacial phases formed at various pressures were established by TEM and EDAX, and an unknown Fe-rich one with nanostructure was also observed. The dependence of the interfacial phases on pressure and its formation and growth mechanism were discussed.

The wavelet finite element methods （WFEMs） own higher calculation accuracy and efficiency for structure analysis. Unfortunately, the existing WFEMs are still limited in low-frequency domain when capturing dynamic characteristics of thin plate. This paper proposes the wavelet multi-elements method based on C1 type b-spline Kirchhoff plate （CIbKP） element to break up this limitation. The validity, numerical stability and convergence respectively are investigated systematically in numerical study. The corresponding results show that the calculation accuracy and numerical stability are very excellent when predicting the high-order natural frequency. The maximum relative errors can be rapidly reduced to 0.4% within the first 1000 modes of thin plate under simply supported. besides, the method is suitable for predicting the dynamic characteristics of thin plate under various boundary conditions.

The synthesis of block copolymers of poly(tetrahydrofuran)-b-poly(α-amino acid)(PTHF-b-PAA)is challenging since it is difficult to combine the two blocks produced via different/conflicting ring-opening polymerization(ROP)*** this contribution,the cationic ROP of THF is catalyzed by rare-earth triflate[RE(OTf)3]and terminated by 2-(t-butyloxycarbonyl-amino)ethanol(bAE).After the deprotection of t-butyloxycarbonyl(boc)group,the chain end of PTHF is quantitatively changed to amino group which thereafter initiates the nucleophilic ROP ofα-amino acid N-thiocarboxyanhydrides(NTAs).both polymerizations are well controlled,generating PTHF and PAA segments with designable molecular weights(MWs).PTHF-b-polylysine(PTHF-b-PLys)and PTHF-b-polysarcosine(PTHF-b-PSar)are obtained with MWs between 8.6 and 28.7 kg/*** above amphiphilic diblock copolymers form micelles in ***40-b-PSar32 acts as a surfactant to stabilize oil-in-water *** segments of PTHF-b-PAA are biocompatible and promising in the biomedical application.

Indium Composition Dependence of the Size Uniformity of InGaAs quantum Dots on (311)b GaAs Grown by Molecular beam Epitaxy

The deposition of InxGa1-xAs (0.2 less than or equal to x less than or equal to 0.5) on (311)b GaAs surfaces using solid source molecular beam epitaxy (MbE) has been studied. both AFM and photoluminescence emission showed that homogeneous quantum dots could be formed on (311)b GaAs surface when indium composition was around 0.4. Indium composition had a strong influence on the size uniformity and the lateral alignment of quantum dots. Compared with other surface orientation, (100) and (n11) A/b (n=1,2,3), photoluminescence measurement confirmed that (311)b surface is the most advantageous in fabricating uniform and dense quantum dots.

The crystal structure of the title compound 1, C 22 H 30 brNO 3, was determined by X ray analysis at 296(1)K. The crystal belongs to othorhombic system, space group P2 12 12 1 with a=9.842(5), b=12.510(5), c=17.763(6) , V=2187(3)  3, Z=4, M r=436.37, D x =1.33 g/cm 3, μ =18.79 cm 1 , F(000) =912 and the final R=0.047 and R w=0.053 for 1429 observed reflections with I≥3σ(I). Structure analysis reveals that the absolute configuration at C 14 of the acetal carbon of the title compound is S.

The dynamic behavior of individual particles during the mixing/segregation process of particle mixtures in a gas fluidized bed is analyzed. The analysis is based on the results generated from discrete particle simulation, with the focus on the trajectory of and forces acting on individual particles. Typical particles are selected representing three kinds of particle motion： a flotsam particle which is initially at the bottom part of the bed and finally fluidized at the top part of the bed; a jetsam particle which is initially at the top part of the bed and finally stays in the bottom de-fluidized layer of the bed; and a jetsam particle which is intermittently joining the top fluidized and bottom de-fluidized layers. The results show that the motion of a particle is chaotic at macroscopic or global scale, but can be well explained at a microscopic scale in terms of its interaction forces and contact conditions with other particles, particle-fluid interaction force, and local flow structure. They also highlight the need for establishing a suitable method to link the information generated and modeled at different time and length scales.
