One-neutron stripping process between^(6)Li and^(209)bi was studied at 28,30,and 34 MeV using the in-beamγ-ray spectroscopy ***γ-γcoincident analysis clearly identified twoγ-rays feeding the ground and long-lived isomeric states,which were employed to determine the cross *** one-neutron stripping cross sections were similar to the cross sections of complete fusion in the^(6)Li+^(209)bi system,but the one-neutron stripping cross sections decreased more gradually at the sub-barrier region.A coupled-reaction-channel calculation was performed to study the detailed reaction mechanism of the one-neutron stripping process in^(6)*** calculations indicated that the first excited state of 5 Li is critical in the actual one-neutron transfer mechanism,and the valence proton of 209bi can be excited to the low-lying excited state in(^(6)Li,^(5)Li)reaction,unlike in the(d,p)reaction.

Langenskiold Procedure for Madelung’s Deformity:Case Series of Late Sequelae

background: Although many authors advise to postpone surgical intervention until skeletal maturity is reached, the Langenskiöld procedure—entailing physiolysis and the release of Vickers’ ligament—is a known procedure in case of Madelung’s deformity in children. Although advised in textbooks and recent reviews, the results and late sequelae of this procedure have been poorly documented. The aim of this study is to portray the late effects of this procedure for three patients and emphasize a very careful patient selection. Methods: A retrospective study was performed of the medical records of three patients who underwent a Langenskiöld procedure with release of Vickers’ ligament for Madelung’s deformity of the wrist. They were recalled for function evaluation and their results are presented in the current study. Results: We report the long term results of three patients (five wrists) who underwent a Langenskiöld procedure with release of Vickers’ ligament in detail. Mean follow-up was twelve years (range: 11 - 14 years). In all of the operated wrists severe pain recurred due to destruction of the distal radio-ulnar joint. Further salvaging surgeries were necessary, some with highly dissatisfying results. Conclusions: based on our experience we advise not to perform this procedure until further studies have proven its effectiveness and clear indications. Other techniques are available for later correction of Madelung’s deformity, with similar results on pain relief, wrist function and cosmetics. However, we will advocate conservative treatment until skeletal maturity is reached.

Immune secondary response and clonal selection inspired optimizers

The immune system’s ability to adapt its b cells to new types of antigen is powered by processes known as clonal selection and affinity maturation. When the body is exposed to the same antigen,immune system usually calls for a more rapid and larger response to the antigen,where b cells have the function of negative adjustment. based on the clonal selection theory and the dynamic process of immune response,two novel artificial immune system algorithms,secondary response clonal programming algorithm (SRCPA) and secondary response clonal multi-objective algorithm (SRCMOA),are presented for solving single and multi-objective optimization problems,respectively. Clonal selection operator (CSO) and secondary response operator (SRO) are the main operators of SRCPA and SRCMOA. Inspired by the clonal selection theory,CSO reproduces individuals and selects their improved maturated progenies after the affinity mat-uration process. SRO copies certain antibodies to a secondary pool,whose members do not participate in CSO,but these antibodies could be activated by some external stimulations. The update of the secondary pool pays more attention to maintain the population diversity. On the one hand,decimal-string representation makes SRCPA more suitable for solving high-dimensional function optimiza-tion problems. Special mutation and recombination methods are adopted in SRCPA to simulate the somatic mutation and receptor edit-ing process. Compared with some existing evolutionary algorithms,such as OGA/Q,IEA,IMCPA,bGA and AEA,SRCPA is shown to be able to solve complex optimization problems,such as high-dimensional function optimizations,with better performance. On the other hand,SRCMOA combines the Pareto-strength based fitness assignment strategy,CSO and SRO to solve multi-objective optimization problems. The performance comparison between SRCMOA,NSGA-Ⅱ,SPEA,and paes based on eight well-known test problems shows that SRCMOA has better performance in converging to approximate Pareto

采用溶胶-凝胶方法制备了三苄基杯[6]芳烃/羟基硅油(C[6]/OH-TSO)固相微萃取(SPME)探头,通过对多环芳烃和酞酸酯(paes)的分析考察了新型C[6]/OH-TSO探头的性能.结果表明:杯[6]芳烃SPME探头对这些非极性和弱极性的芳香化合物有很好的萃取效果和选择性,具有耐高温、使用寿命长等特点.建立了SPME与气相色谱-氢火焰(GC-FID)联用测定化妆品中paes的方法.该方法检测限低,重现性好(RSD<9%),线性范围宽(2～3个数量级).回收率在83.42%～98.85%之间.
