In large.animal re.e.rch, whe. fre.ue.t sampling of arte.ial blood is ne.de., the.carotid arte.y transposition is the.most use. te.hnique. The.obje.tive.of this pape. is to de.cribe.a ne. te.hnique.for carotid arte.y transposition in she.p and e.aluate.its e.fe.tive.e.s using the.e.ho-Dopple. ultrasound. The.animals e.rolle. in this study had the.r carotid surgically e.e.ate. to the.subcutane.us le.e., by suturing unde.ne.th muscle. ste.noce.halic and brachioce.halic. None.of the.animals that unde.we.t the.proce.ure.in this study had trans- or postope.ative.complications. Six months afte. the.suture.re.oval, all animals pre.e.te. pate.t ca-rotids by e.ho-Dopple. ultrasound. A se.rch for the.doubly charme. baryon ?cc+with the.de.ay mode.?cc+→Ξc+K-π+is pe.forme. using proton-proton collision data at a ce.tre.of-mass e.e.gy of 13 Te. colle.te. by the.LHCb e.pe.ime.t from 2016 to 2018, corre.ponding to an inte.rate. luminosity of 5.4 fb-1. No significant signal is obse.ve. within the.invariant mass range.of 3.6 to 4.0 Ge./c2. Uppe. limits are.se. on the.ratio R of the.production cross-se.tion time. the.total branching fraction of the.?cc+→Ξc+K-π+de.ay with re.pe.t to the.Ξcc++→Λc+K-π+π+de.ay. Uppe. limits at 95% cre.ibility le.e. for R in the.range.0.005 to 0.11 are.obtaine. for dife.e.t hypothe.e. on the.?cc+mass and life.ime.in the.rapidity range.from 2.0 to 4.5 and transve.se.mome.tum range.from 4 to 15 Ge./c.
