b.east cancer is a type of cancer responsib.e for higher mortality rates among women. The cruelty of b.east cancer always requires a promising approach for its earlier detection. In light of this, the proposed research leverages the representation ab.lity of pretrained Efficientnet-b. model and the classification ab.lity of the XGb.ost model for the b.nary classification of b.east tumors. In addition, the ab.ve transfer learning model is modified in such a way that it will focus more on tumor cells in the input mammogram. Accordingly, the work.proposed an Efficientnetb. having a Spatial Attention Layer with XGb.ost (ESA-XGb.et) for b.nary classification of mammograms. For this, the work.is trained, tested, and validated using original and augmented mammogram images of three pub.ic datasets namely Cb.S-DDSM, Inb.east, and MIAS datab.ses. Maximum classification accuracy of 97.585% (Cb.S-DDSM), 98.255% (Inb.east), and 98.91% (MIAS) is ob.ained using the proposed ESA-XGb.et architecture as compared with the existing models. Furthermore, the decision-mak.ng of the proposed ESA-XGb.et architecture is visualized and validated using the Attention Guided GradCAM-b.sed Explainab.e AI technique. © 2024 The Authors.

MOS is sub.ective and lab.rious,and it varies depending on the user.A fully automated data analytics framework.is required to reduce the inter-operator variab.lity characteristic in QoE *** work.addresses this concern b. suggesting a novel hyb.id XGb.tack.oE analytical model using a two-level layering *** one comb.nes multiple Machine Learning(ML)models via a layer one Hyb.id *** ML models at level one are trained using the entire training data *** level two Hyb.id XGb.tack.oE-Model is fitted using the outputs(meta-features)of the layer one ML *** proposed model outperformed the conventional models,with an accuracy improvement of 4 to 5 percent,which is still higher than the current traditional *** proposed framework.could significantly improve video QoE accuracy.

k.owledge and Attitudes of k.ust Pre-Clinical Dental Students towards Orthodontic Treatment

b.ck.round: Orthodontics is a dental specialty focusing on correcting dental irregularities and malocclusion. k.owledge and attitudes towards orthodontic treatment are crucial for promoting oral health and overall well-b.ing. Education and awareness play a vital role in ensuring optimal treatment outcomes and improving quality of life. Aim: This study aims to determine the k.owledge and attitudes of k.ame nk.umah University of Science and Technology (k.UST) pre-clinical dentistry students concerning orthodontic therapy. Methodology: This research is a quantitative descriptive cross-sectional study. The research used a non-random convenience sampling method to form the desired sample. For data collection, an interview-administered questionnaire was used over one month. The study set its sights on pre-clinical dental students in k.UST. A total of 150 questionnaires were printed to meet the sample size. Results: The results of the research showed that the k.owledge level of k.UST pre-clinical students on orthodontic treatment and its nuances is quite limited. They however had a fair level of k.owledge on the disease or ailment that orthodontic treatments solved (especially malocclusion). Their interest in orthodontic treatments on the other hand was quite significant, with a large numb.r having interest in it. Conclusion: To conclude, k.UST pre-clinical students in Ghana although having a limited level of k.owledge on orthodontic treatments have a k.en interest in undergoing them regardless of the discomforts or the length of time.

Phishing attack. present a persistent and evolving threat in the cyb.rsecurity land-scape, necessitating the development of more sophisticated detection methods. Traditional machine learning approaches to phishing detection have relied heavily on feature engineering and have often fallen short in adapting to the dynamically changing patterns of phishing Uniform Resource Locator (URLs). Addressing these challenge, we introduce a framework.that integrates the sequential data processing strengths of a Recurrent neural network.(Rnn) with the hyperparameter optimization prowess of the Whale Optimization Algorithm (WOA). Our model capitalizes on an extensive k.ggle dataset, featuring over 11,000 URLs, each delineated b. 30 attrib.tes. The WOA’s hyperparameter optimization enhances the Rnn’s performance, evidenced b. a meticulous validation process. The results, encapsulated in precision, recall, and F1-score metrics, surpass b.seline models, achieving an overall accuracy of 92%. This study not only demonstrates the Rnn’s proficiency in learning complex patterns b.t also underscores the WOA’s effectiveness in refining machine learning models for the critical task.of phishing detection.
