Liver cancer remains a leading cause of mortality worldwide,and precise diagnostic tools are essential for effective treatment *** Tumors(LTs)vary significantly in size,shape,and location,and can present with tissues of similar intensities,making automatically segmenting and classifying LTs from abdominal tomography images crucial and *** review examines recent advancements in Liver Segmentation(LS)and Tumor Segmentation(TS)algorithms,highlighting their strengths and limitations regarding precision,automation,and *** metrics are utilized to assess key detection algorithms and analytical methods,emphasizing their effectiveness and relevance in clinical *** review also addresses ongoing challenges in liver tumor segmentation and identification,such as managing high variability in patient data and ensuring robustness across different imaging *** suggests directions for future research,with insights into technological advancements that can enhance surgical planning and diagnostic accuracy by comparing popular *** paper contributes to a comprehensive understanding of current liver tumor detection techniques,provides a roadmap for future innovations,and improves diagnostic and therapeutic outcomes for liver cancer by integrating recent progress with remaining challenges.

Peanut allergy is majorly related to severe food induced allergic *** food including cow's milk,hen's eggs,soy,wheat,peanuts,tree nuts(walnuts,hazelnuts,almonds,cashews,pecans and pistachios),fish and shellfish are responsible for more than 90%of food ***,we provide promising insights using a large-scale data-driven analysis,comparing the mechanistic feature and biological relevance of different ingredients presents in peanuts,tree nuts(walnuts,almonds,cashews,pecans and pistachios)and ***,we have analysed the chemical compositions of peanuts in different processed form raw,boiled and *** the data-driven approach we are able to generate new hypotheses to explain why nuclear receptors like the peroxisome proliferator-activated receptors(PPARs)and its isoform and their interaction with dietary lipids may have significant effect on allergic *** results obtained from this study will direct future experimeantal and clinical studies to understand the role of dietary lipids and PPARisoforms to exert pro-inflammatory or anti-inflammatory functions on cells of the innate immunity and influence antigen presentation to the cells of the adaptive immunity.

Colletotrichum gloeosporioides sensu lato has been associated with anthracnose in diverse commercial *** is now established that *** sensu lato comprises 33 phylogenetic species and *** sensu stricto is not a common pathogen of tropical *** this study,we investigated the phylogenetic relationships of 85 Colletotrichum isolates associated with select tropical fruits and flowering plants from *** the ApMat marker analysis,the 85 isolates clustered with 7 known Colletotrichum species(***,***,***,***,***,***,Glomerella cingulata ***)and six novel *** of the novel lineages is described and illustrated in this paper as Colletotrichum communis ***.,while new-host pathogen associations for ***,***,*** and *** are reported from *** of the 85 isolates analysed in this paper,73 isolates clustered within the *** species complex,indicating that *** species complex,not *** sensu stricto,is common on tropical *** comparison with act,cal,gapdh,ITS and tub2 gene markers,we recommend the use of the ApMat marker for accurate identification of cryptic species within the *** species *** believe that the ApMat marker,in combination with one or two similar‘phylogenetically superior’gene markers,is a better candidate for specieslevel classification of fungi that were traditionally identified as‘Colletotrichum gloeosporioides’.

Aims:Health democracy requires tools and methodologies to involve non-scientific actors in the development and implementation of health *** could be one of the tools to make health democracy *** aim is to describe how storytelling is used in relation to health democracy,the aims of its use,the methodology adopted and the results ***:We conducted a narrative review of the *** search equation was composed by the keyword“narration”and its variations“récit de vie”,“histoire de vie”and“medécine narrative”and by the keyword“démocratie en santé”/“démocratie sanitaire”.Results:We obtained 135 results and included six articles,published between 2015 and *** interest of storytelling in a health democracy approach concerns six main themes:a)the plurality of experiences;b)empowerment;c)the recognition of different types of knowledge;d)the involvement of all care actors in care;storytelling as a lever for change;e)in the care pathway;f)in health ***:The limited number of articles included in this literature review raises questions about the diffusion of the concept of health democracy associated with that of *** can contribute to the dissemination and effectiveness of health democracy:it is a complementary tool to quantitative tools for understanding the experiences of users of the health care system,and its use is particularly relevant to chronic diseases such as cancer.

One option to fight global warming is to convert our use of fossil energy into renewables such as biomass ***,the forest preservation and the quality of the ambient air are also two major ***,the use of biomass waste without any supplementary emissions could represent a part of the *** this study,two fuels were considered for a 200 kW moving grate boiler.A multicyclone and a bag filter were fitted on the *** first fuel consisted of classical wood chips whereas the second was a mixture of wood chips with sewage *** second fuel presented a high ashes mass ratio compared to wood *** aim was to verify the possibility to burn this kind of fuel without any modification of the *** first relevant result is that the conventional pollutants,i.e.,CO and NOx,remained under the emissions limits even with the sewage sludge *** Total Suspended Particles emissions at the exhaust were always under 5.4 mg·Nm-3 dry based corrected at 6%of O_(2),which is low with respect to the standard *** majority of the ashes remained on the combustion ***,with both fuels,about 5%of ashes mass remained in the heat ***,the heat exchanger was more clogged with the second fuel,which produced five time more *** may lead to a yield ***,sewage sludge can be used in a wood boiler without any issue if an automatic exchanger sweep is fitted on the installation.

CONSPECTUS:Fantastic progresses have been made since the discovery of phosphorescent organic light-emitting diodes(PhOLEds)in 1998(Nature 1998,395,151).In the emissive layer of a PhOLEd,a heavy-metal complex(emitter)is dispersed as a guest in an organic semiconductor(host)in order to harvest both singlet and triplet *** host/guest technique is essential to reach highperformance ***,designing high-efficiency host materials for red,green,and blue phosphors has been the main driving force of the ***,the most efficient PhOLEds report very high external quantum efficiency(EQE)above 27%for the three *** molecular design of these high-efficiency host materials is based on small functional units,which have a crucial role in the device *** functional units are constructed on the assembly of electron-rich and/or electron-poor molecular fragments(such as carbazole,phenylamine,phosphine oxide,oxadiazole,pyridine,sulfone,etc.),which allows to finely tune the molecular orbitals energy levels(HOMO and LUMO)and the mobility of the charge carriers(hole and electrons).However,these molecular fragments incorporate heteroatoms,which in turn increase the molecular design complexity and production cost of the target materials and also create potential instability in the ***,the fragile C−N,C−P,and C−S bonds of such heteroatom-based hosts are involved,in part,in the OLEd *** the instability of OLEds is one of the most important problem to address at the current stage of development,developing new generations of host materials,without heteroatoms,has appeared as an important challenge in the *** recent years,this new generation of host materials,called Pure HydroCarbons(PHC),only incorporating carbon and hydrogen atoms,has drawn the attention of the scientific *** host materials only contain benzene rings,one of the most robust and inert building unit,which are assemble with suitable linkages to a

We have studied the structural and atomic transport properties of liquid f-shell Yb in the temperature range 1123 K–1473 K. Pair interactions between atoms are derived using a local pseudopotential. The potential parameters are fitted to the phonon dispersion curve at room temperature. The local pseudopotential used in the present study is computationally more efficient with only three parameters, and it is found to be transferable to the liquid phase without changing the *** the various computed properties agree with reported theoretical and experimental findings, the adopted fitting scheme is justified. As a significant outcome of the study, we find that(i) the melting in Yb is governed by the Lindemann's law,(ii)the mass transport mechanism obeys the Arrhenius law,(iii) the role of the three-particle correlation function in deriving the velocity autocorrelation function is small,(iv) the mean-square atomic displacement is more sensitive to the choice of interaction potential than the other bulk properties, and(v) liquid Yb does not show liquid–liquid phase transition within the studied temperature range. Further, due to the good description of the structural and mass transport properties, we propose that Yb remains divalent at reduced density.
