background:Triple-negative breast cancer (TNbC), characterized by its lack of traditional hormone receptors and HER2, presents a significant challenge in oncology due to its poor response to conventional therapies. Autophagy is an important process for maintaining cellular homeostasis, and there are currently autophagy biomarkers that play an effective role in the clinical treatment of tumors. In contrast to targeting protein activity, intervention with protein-protein interaction (PPI) can avoid unrelated crosstalk and regulate the autophagy process with minimal interference pathways.Methods:Here, we employed Naive bayes, Decision Tree, and k-Nearest Neighbors to elucidate the complex PPI network associated with autophagy in TNbC, aiming to uncover novel therapeutic targets. Meanwhile, the candidate proteins interacting with beclin 2 were initially screened in MDA-Mb-231 cells using beclin 2 as bait protein by immunoprecipitation-mass spectrometry assay, and the interaction relationship was verified by molecular docking and CO-IP experiments after intersection. Colony formation, cellular immunofluorescence, cell scratch and 3-(4,5-Dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide (MTT) tests were used to predict the clinical therapeutic effects of manipulating candidate PPI.Results:by developing three PPI classification models and analyzing over 13,000 datasets, we identified 3733 previously unknown autophagy-related PPIs. Our network analysis revealed the central role of beclin 2 in autophagy regulation, uncovering its interactions with 39 newly identified proteins. Notably, the CO-IP studies identified the substantial interaction between beclin 2 and Ubiquilin 1, which was anticipated by our model and discovered in immunoprecipitation-mass spectrometry assay results. Subsequently, investigations showed that overexpressing beclin 2 increased Ubiquilin 1, promoted autophagy-dependent cell death, and inhibited proliferation and metastasis in MDA-Mb-231 cells.

Insufficient future liver remnant (FLR) is an important factor that precludes patient from upfront major liver resection as it predisposes to post-hepatectomy liver failure and mortality. As such, augmentation of FLR by portal vein embolization (PVE) was the conventional approach to improve the safety profile of major hepatectomy. In recent years, associating liver partition and portal vein ligation for staged hepatectomy (ALPPS) has been popularized as an alternative approach for FLR augmentation (1,2). However, the initial inception of the ALPPS procedure was met by criticism for its high incidence of procedure-related morbidity, such as bile leakage and sepsis (3). In light of this issue, an international registry was set up for collection of cases and experience around the world and soon after that, the first International Expert Meeting was held in Hamburg in 2015 that led to the publication of eight recommendations on terminology of the procedures, indications and techniques for ALPPS (4). Two years later, a pre-congress meeting was held during the EHPbA (European Hepatopancreatobiliary Association) 12th Annual Congress in Mainz, Germany to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of ALPPS (5) since the first case was performed by Prof. Hans Schlitt a decade ago (1). During this meeting, ten different aspects on ALPPS were covered including surgical anatomy, underlying mechanisms, perioperative assessment of liver function, technical approach, indications and its effectiveness in comparison to two-stage hepatectomy.

The diffusion of hydrogen in amorphous NiCrFeSib alloy has been studied by electrochemical method. In the temperature range of 20 similar to 50 degrees C, diffusion coefficient of hydrogen in the alloy follows the equation: D(cm(2)/s) = 9.27x10(-8) exp(-53.4 kJ/RT). At room temperature the diffusion coefficient D and the solubility C-0 are 6.125 x 10(-12) cm(2)/s and 0.007 mol/cm(3), respectively. When As2O3 is added into the cathodic solution or the charging current density is increased, the diffusion coefficient and solubility increase, and the diffusion activation energy decreases. The influence of amorphous structure on diffusion and solution of hydrogen is discussed.

The elastic wave propagation phenomena in two-dimensional periodic beam lattices are studied by using the bloch wave transform. The numerical modeling is applied to the hexagonal and the rectangular beam lattices, in which, both the in-plane （with respect to the lattice plane） and out-of-plane waves are considered. The dispersion relations are obtained by calculating the bloch eigenfrequencies and eigenmodes. The frequency bandgaps are observed and the influence of the elastic and geometric properties of the primitive cell on the bandgaps is studied. by analyzing the phase and the group velocities of the bloch wave modes, the anisotropic behaviors and the dispersive characteristics of the hexagonal beam lattice with respect to the wave prop- agation are highlighted in high frequency domains. One im- portant result presented herein is the comparison between the first bloch wave modes to the membrane and bend- ing/transverse shear wave modes of the classical equivalent homogenized orthotropic plate model of the hexagonal beam lattice. It is shown that, in low frequency ranges, the homog- enized plate model can correctly represent both the in-plane and out-of-plane dynamic behaviors of the beam lattice, its frequency validity domain can be precisely evaluated thanks to the bloch modal analysis. As another important and original result, we have highlighted the existence of the retro- propagating bloch wave modes with a negative group veloc- ity, and of the corresponding ＂retro-propagating＂ frequency bands.

The dynamic behavior of individual particles during the mixing/segregation process of particle mixtures in a gas fluidized bed is analyzed. The analysis is based on the results generated from discrete particle simulation, with the focus on the trajectory of and forces acting on individual particles. Typical particles are selected representing three kinds of particle motion： a flotsam particle which is initially at the bottom part of the bed and finally fluidized at the top part of the bed; a jetsam particle which is initially at the top part of the bed and finally stays in the bottom de-fluidized layer of the bed; and a jetsam particle which is intermittently joining the top fluidized and bottom de-fluidized layers. The results show that the motion of a particle is chaotic at macroscopic or global scale, but can be well explained at a microscopic scale in terms of its interaction forces and contact conditions with other particles, particle-fluid interaction force, and local flow structure. They also highlight the need for establishing a suitable method to link the information generated and modeled at different time and length scales.

Acrylonitrile-butadiene-Styrene (AbS), with and without calcium carbonate (calcite) particles,was used as the matrix for reinforcement with as-received short-glass fibres (were originallytreated by the manufacturer) and sized short-glass fibres with two amino-silane coupling *** calcite particle content is 0, 11.7 and 23.5 vol. pct for the matrices. The glass fiber contentis 0, 10 and 15 vol. pct. The matrix materials and corresponding composites were compoundedusing a twin screw extruder and dumbbell-shaped tensile bars were prepared with an injectionmolding process. The tensile and flexural properties as well as the unnotched and notchedCharpy impact energies of short glass fibre/calcite/AbS composites were studied in this *** effects of fibres, fibre surface treatments and particles on these mechanical properties ofthe composites were discussed in detail. An importarit information was obtained, which is thatthe tensile and flexural strengths of hybrid SGF/calcite/AbS composites are the same as thoseof corresponding fibre composites when the ratio of the interfacial adhesion strength betweenparticles and matrix to that between fibres and matrix is higher than certain value. otherwise theformer are lower than the latter.

We report thermoelectric transport measurements across a graphene/hexagonal boron nitride （h-bN）/graphene heterostructure device. Using an AC lock-in technique, we are able to separate the thermoelectric contribution to the I-V characteristics of these important device structures. The temperature gradient is measured optically using Raman spectroscopy, which enables us to explore thermoelectric transport produced at material interfaces, across length scales of just 1-2 nm. based on the observed thermoelectric voltage （AV） and tem- perature gradient （AT）, a Seebeck coefficient of -99.3 μV/K is ascertained for the heterostructure device. The obtained Seebeck coefficient can be useful for understanding the thermoelectric component in the cross-plane I-V behaviors of emerging 2D heterostructure devices. These results provide an approach to probing thermoelectric energy conversion in two-dimensional layered heterostructures.
