以氨三乙酸HNTA2-为主要配体,缬氨酸(valine)或亮氨酸(leucine)为次要配体在微酸性介质中合成了Ni(Ⅱ),Cu(Ⅱ),and Zn(Ⅱ)的三元配合物。用元素分析、热分析、FTIR,UV-Vis分光光度法,磁性测量和质谱法表征了合成的三元配合物。结果表明,三元配合物可在金属(M):氨三乙酸(HNTA)∶缬氨酸(valine)或亮氨酸(leucine)=1∶1∶1时制得,其分子结构为[M(HNTA)(valine)(H2O)2].1.5H2O and[M(HNTA)(leucine)(H2O)2].1.5H2O(其中M=Ni(Ⅱ)or Cu(Ⅱ))和H2[Zn(NTA)(valine)(H2O)]H2O。标题三元过渡金属配合物为八面体对称构型。同时研究了该三元配合物对大肠杆菌,金黄色葡萄球菌,白色念珠菌,黄曲霉菌(菌株从开罗大学理学院微分析中心获得)的抗菌活性。根据推荐的知名方法用标准的抗菌和抗真菌剂进行体外测试(in vitro)以评估我们的新制备的配合物对细菌和真菌物种的生长抑制活性。

The integration of voice and data traffics in our proposed centralized switch node architecture is considered. Specifically,the unfairness of the Free Round Robin(FRR) scheduling strategy towards low priority traffic types is demonstrated by a comparison with a restricted bandwidth strategy called Reserved Round Robin(RRR).The simulation results show that under heavy load conditions,RRR provides a more balanced scheduling of traffic types than the FRR,with only a moderate increase in the delay times of higher priority traffic types.

Neuromuscular electrical stimulation(NMES) and testosterone replacement therapy(TRT) are effective rehabilitation strategies to attenuate muscle atrophy and evoke hypertrophy in persons with spinal cord injury(SCI). However both interventions might increase heterotopic ossification(HO) size in SCI patients. We present the results of two men with chronic traumatic motor complete SCI who also had pre-existing HO and participated in a study investigating the effects of TRT or TRT plus NMES resistance training(RT) on body composition. The 49-year-old male, Subject A, has unilateral HO in his right thigh. The 31-year-old male, Subject b, has bilateral HO in both thighs. both participants wore transdermal testosterone patches(4-6 mg/d) daily for 16 wk. Subject A also underwent progressive NMES-RT twice weekly for 16 wk. Magnetic resonance imaging scans were acquired prior to and post intervention. Cross-sectional areas(CSA) of thewhole thigh and knee extensor skeletal muscles, femoral bone, and HO were measured. In Subject A(NMES-RT + TRT), the whole thigh skeletal muscle CSA increased by 10%, the knee extensor CSA increased by 17%, and the HO + femoral bone CSA did not change. In Subject b(TRT), the whole thigh skeletal muscle CSA increased by 13% in the right thigh and 6% in the left thigh. The knee extensor CSA increased by 7% in the right thigh and did not change in the left thigh. The femoral bone and HO CSAs in both thighs did not change. both the TRT and NMES-RT + TRT protocols evoked muscle hypertrophy without stimulating the growth of preexisting HO.

AIM： To study the epidemiology of HCC in Lebanon and prognostic factors predictive of early mortality. METHODS： An observational follow-up cohort study of HCC cases diagnosed over a five-year period was carried out. Multivariate analysis was conducted to identify prognostic factors in comparison to Cancer of the Liver italian Program （CUP） score. Multiple variables including the etiology of underlying liver disease, the demographic characteristics of patients, and the severity of liver disease evaluated by the Child-Pugh score were studied. Tumor parameters included the time of diagnosis of HCC, alpha-fetoprotein level, number and size of nodules, presence of portal vein thrombosis, and treatment modalities. Death or loss of follow-up was considered as an end-point event. RESULTS： Ninety-two patients （mean 60.5 ± 22.3 years） were included. Etiology of underlying disease was hepatitis b, C, and alcohol in 67%, 20%, and 23.5% respectively. Child-Pugh class at diagnosis was A, b, and C in 34.8%, 39.3% and 25.8% respectively. Overall survival was 44.8%, 32.8% and 17.6% at 1, 2 and 3 years respectively （mean F/U 40.2 ± 23.5 mo）. Multivariate analysis identified three predictors of early mortality （〈 6 mo）： bilirubin 〉 3.2 mg/dL （P 〈 0.01）, HCC as first presentation of liver disease （P = 0.035）, and creatinine 〉 1 mg/dL （P = 0.017）. A score based on these variables outperformed the CLIP score by Cox proportional hazard. ROC curve showed both models to be equivalent and moderately accurate.CONCLUSION： HbV is the leading cause of HCC in Lebanon. Independent predictors of early mortality are elevated bilirubin, creatinine and HCC as first manifestation of disease. Prospective validation of a score based on these clinical parameters in predicting short-term survival is needed.

AIMTo explore the role of killer immunoglobulin receptor (KIR) genes in responsiveness or non-responsiveness to vaccination against hepatitis b virus. METHODSWe recruited 101 voluntary participants between March 2010 and December 2011. Sera samples from vaccinated and non-vaccinated participants were tested for the presence of anti-Hbs antibodies as a measure of protection against hepatitis b, hepatitis b surface antigen and hepatitis b core antibody as indicators of infection by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. KIR gene frequencies were determined by polymerase chain reaction. RESULTSSera samples from 99 participants were tested for the levels of anti-Hbs as an indicator of protection (≥ 10 mIU/mL) following vaccination as defined by the World Health Organization international reference standard. Among the vaccinated participants, 47% (35/74) had anti-Hbs titers above 100 mIU/mL, 22% (16/74) had anti-Hbs ranging between 10-100 mIU/mL, and 20% (15/74) had values of less than 10 mIU/mL. We report the lack of significant association between the number of vaccine dosages and the titer of antibodies among our vaccinated participants. The inhibitory KIR2DL1, KIR2DL4, KIR3DL1, KIR3DL2, and KIR3DL were detected in more than 95%, whereas KIR2DL2, KIR2DL3, KIR2DL5 (KR2DL5A and KIR2DL5b) were expressed in 56%, 84% and 42% (25% and 29%) of participants, respectively. The observed frequency of the activating KIR genes ranged between 35% and 55% except for KIR2DS4, detected in 95% of the study participants (40.6% 2DS4*001/002; 82.2% 2DS4*003/007). KIR2DP1 pseudogene was detected in 99% of our participants, whereas KIR3DP*001/02/04 and KIR3DP1*003 had frequencies of 17% and 100%, respectively. No association between the frequency of KIR genes and anti-Hbs antibodies was detected. Urban and peri-urban agriculture plays a key role by providing many goods and services. In particular, it provides diversified food and employment for vulnerable groups (youth and women). However, it often involves negative externalities due to non-conventional soils fertility management practices. This study aimed to investigate the chemical quality of soils over six (06) sites of the market gardening area of bobo-Dioulasso (burkina Faso) as affected by fertilizers uses and sites location. Thirty (30) representative market gardening farms, located in urban, semi-urban and rural areas, were randomly selected from a baseline survey database. Within each farm, composite soil samples made up of 3 individual cores were taken over the 0 - 15 cm soil depth for determining soils carbon, total nitrogen, available phosphorus contents and pH-water. These data were normalized and summarized to compute a synthetic Soil Fertility Index (SFI). The data processing was focused on a Principal Component Analysis and an Ascendant Hierarchical Classification in order to make a typology of the vegetable farms. Fertilizers management effects on soils quality were compared through Variance Analysis (ANOVA) following a GLM procedure in Rstudio software. As main results, soils chemical parameters, except for available K, were affected by the location of the sites. Soils in urban farms are less acidic (on average pH = 6.9), while semi-urban and rural sites (Samadeni, Nakaguana) have more acidic soils. However, the latter site had the highest values of C and N. Moreover, the long-term application of organic matter sources results in improving of the chemical quality of the market garden soil. The SFI is positively correlated with the rate of applied organic fertilizers, and the cultivation duration. On the other hand, soil quality tends to decrease with the expansion of the area, due to a dilution effect of the organic fertilizer doses. All these results suggest that there is a real scope to

The main purpose of the work reported in this paper was to study the electrical properties in PbTe films of thickness 250 nm deposited on clean class substrates held at room temperature in a vacuum of 10-5 mbar prepared by thermal evaporation technique and annealed at different temperatures. Electrical properties of the films were determined by electrical conductivity, Hall coefficient and seebeck coefficient measurements. The d. c conductivity of the as deposited and annealed films was determined within the range of 313-483 K. The activation energies (Ea) of the films increased as the films underwent annealing, The Hall and thermoelectric power measurements showed that the films conductivity is n-type for all films which indict that the majority of charge carriers are electrons, except film annealed at temperature equal to 423 K where the film exhibits p-type. The carrier concentration (nH) decreases with increasing Ta while Hall mobility (?H) increases with increasing Ta. The seebeck coefficient and activation energy (ES) of the films with different Ta have been investigated.

以Saraline基超轻完井液为研究对象,分析其黏度在高温高压环境下的变化情况,并优选其高温高压黏度预测模型。测量黏度时温度为298.15~373.15 K,压力为0.10~4.48 MPa,分析测量数据后发现：随着温度的升高,低温下黏度快速下降,高温下黏度降幅较小,且黏度对压力变化不敏感。将实验测量数据与4个常用黏度-温度-压力模型进行拟合,发现利用改进型Mehrotra-Svreck模型和Ghaderi模型预测的黏度值与测量值吻合度较高,能够描述高温高压下Saraline基超轻完井液的黏度特性。与Sarapar基超轻完井液对比后发现,温度对Saraline基超轻完井液黏度的影响更小,压力对Saraline基超轻完井液黏度的影响可以忽略不计,改进型Mehrotra-Svreck模型和Ghaderi模型在各种温度和压力条件下对Saraline基超轻完井液的黏度预测精度优于对Sarapar基超轻完井液的黏度预测。

Machining is a mechanical process where excess material from a work is removed to produce a product. At the moment different ferrous, non-ferrous materials and industrial blue wax have been used for prototype models. However such materials is very expensive. Hence an attempt is made to substitute these materials by the palm oil based bio-wax produced in Malaysia. In this research, the authors will analyze and investigate whether there is a possibility to use the palm oil based bio-wax material to substitute with the petroleum based industrial-wax. Experimental analyses are carried out to investigate the capability and the strength of the palm oil based bio-wax material. The matrix blends were prepared of fatty acids from oleo-chemicals, palm oil wax, natural ash fibre and low linear density polyethylene （LLDPE） by stirring and melt-mixing. Sample b!ends are machined with lathe machining process. The sample blends showed there was no built edge formation and good smooth surface production.
