We study b.undary value prob.ems for fractional integro-differential equations involving Caputo derivative of order α∈ （n-1, n） in b.nach spaces. Existence and uniqueness results of solutions are estab.ished b. virtue of the Holder＇s inequality, a suitab.e singular Cronwall＇s inequality and fixed point theorem via a priori estimate method. At last, examples are given to illustrate the results.

The ob.ective of this study was to isolate a potent dye-degrading microb. that can b. used to reduce the pollution caused b. industrial *** red 198 is an extensively used textile dye and is a major environmental pollutant in water b.dies. In this study, a b.cterial strain was isolated from sea sediments and identified as Acinetob.cter b.umannii with 16S rRNA sequencing. The isolated b.cteria were immob.lized in calcium alginate and decolorization studies were carried out to determine the optimum pH, temperature, dye concentration, inoculum volume,and static/agitated condition using the one factor at a time(OFAT) approach. The b.x-b.hnken design, a type of response surface methodology,was adopted to improve the degradation efficiency. At 37℃ using an inoculum volume of six b.ads, 96.20% decolorization was ob.erved in 500 mg/L of reactive red 198 after 72 h. Dye degradation was confirmed with UV-visib.e spectroscopy and Fourier-transform infrared(FTIR)spectroscopy studies of the dye and degraded metab.lites. Microb.al toxicity studies using Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa and phytotoxicity studies using Vigna radiata proved that the toxicity of the dye was significantly reduced after degradation. We can conclude that the isolated A. b.umannii strain is an efficient dye-degrading microb. that can b. used to reduce the pollution caused b. industrial dyes.

Digitization has created an ab.ndance of new information sources b. altering how pictures are *** large image datab.ses from a web.portal requires an opted indexing structure instead of reducing the contents of different kinds of datab.ses for quick *** approach paves a path toward the increase of efficient image retrieval techniques and numerous research in image indexing involving large image *** retrieval usually encounters difficulties like a)merging the diverse representations of images and their Indexing,b.the low-level visual characters and semantic characters associated with an image are indirectly proportional,and c)noisy and less accurate extraction of image information(semantic and predicted attrib.tes).This work clearly focuses and takes the b.se of reverse engineering and de-normalizing concept b. evaluating how data can b. stored ***,retrieval b.comes straightforward and *** research also deals with deep root indexing with a multidimensional approach ab.ut how images can b. indexed and provides improved results in terms of good performance in query processing and the reduction of maintenance and storage *** focus on the schema design on a non-clustered index solution,especially cover *** schema provides a filter predication to make an index with a particular content of rows and an index tab.e called filtered ***,we include non-key columns in addition to the key *** on two image data sets‘with and without’filtered indexing show low query *** compare efficiency as regards accuracy in mean average precision to measure the accuracy of retrieval with the developed coherent semantic *** results show that retrieval b. using deep root indexing is simple and fast.

This paper aims to find strategic locations for additional Phasor Measurement Units (PMUs) installation while considering resiliency of existing PMU measurement system. A virtual attack agent is modeled b.sed on an optimization framework. The virtual attack agent targets to minimize ob.ervab.lity of power system b. coordinated attack on a sub.et of critical PMUs. A planner agent is then introduced which analyzes the attack pattern of virtual attack agent. The goal of the planner agent is to mitigate the vulnerab.lity posed b. the virtual attack agent b. placing additional PMUs at strategic locations. The ensuing prob.em is formulated as an optimization prob.em. The proposed framework is applied on 14, 30, 57 and 118 b.s test systems, including a large 2383 node western polish test system to demonstrate the feasib.lity of proposed approach for large systems.

Chimera state is a peculiar spatiotemporal pattern,wherein the coherence and incoherence coexist in the network of coupled identical *** this paper,we study the chimera states in a network of impact oscillators with nonlocal *** investigate the effects of the coupling strength and the coupling range on the network *** results reveal the emergence of the chimera state for significantly small values of coupling strength,and higher coupling strength values lead to unb.unded motions in the *** also study the network in the case of excitation *** ob.erve that the coupling helps in the maintenance of an oscillatory motion with a lower amplitude in the failed oscillator.

A fractional-order difference equation model of a third-order discrete phase-locked loop(FODPLL) is discussed and the dynamical b.havior of the model is demonstrated using b.furcation plots and a b.sin of attraction. We show a narrow region of loop gain where the FODPLL exhib.ts quasi-periodic oscillations, which were not identified in the integer-order model. We propose a simple impulse control algorithm to suppress chaos and discuss the effect of the control step. A network of FODPLL oscillators is constructed and investigated for synchronization b.havior. We show the existence of chimera states while transiting from an asynchronous to a synchronous state. The same impulse control method is applied to a lattice array of FODPLL, and the chimera states are then synchronized using the impulse control algorithm. We show that the lower control steps can achieve b.tter control over the higher control steps.
